This bar is a dive but only in the meaning of a cheap, no frills place to hang out. It was clean, the bartender (Chris) was attentive enough without being too attentive and the clientele was harmless. We went on a Saturday which is Ladies Night. Ladies drink for half price. We ordered a round for 4 people (2 of us were chicks), two beers in a bottle, one can of Non Alcoholic beer and one rum and coke in a big glass. The total was less than $9. Without question, the diviest dive bar around...in a good way. A shotgun style bar with a long, long history. This bar has seen it all. Wood paneling and chairs from the 70's. A clean no-nonsense bathroom (that's also the entrance to the basement..be sure to ask about the history of this clever setup.). Not only is this place historical for the locals here it's also a place where everyone seems to know each other and have stories award days which is sweet to hair it's a no-nonsense bar great bartenders very professional I've been going there close to 30 years I hope thirty more
