“Great place to watch the Bruins. Great food. Great service. Good prices on drinks. A hidden gem of a spot.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free buns! Vegan hot dogs! Vegan chili! As someone with a vegetarian brother and a celiac sister, it's great for everyone!“
“What a fun place. A great neighborhood local bar. The owners treat you well and the bartenders made sure your glass is never empty. Great evening with a group of friends and listen to the entertainment. I look forward to going back soon.Derek D.“
“My friend and I went on a whim. I thought the way it was decorated was very artsy and unusual. It's got a door from a jail cell which I thought was pretty cool. The people were very friendly and definitely had their own vibe. My friend and I were dressed conservatively in comparison but we didn't feel uncomfortable at all. No one gave us a second look, or maybe even a first look! I felt no judging going on there. The bar tender was super nice and friendly. It's a small place and has one pool table. Personally, I love a small place. You feel connected, especially with regulars, you feel like you've got your own tribe. We loved the place and would definitely go back.Parking: It's a neighborhood bar. Don't be intimidated by that or let that stop you. We talked briefly to a few people in the parking lot and they were super friendly. The minute I opened the door, my friend and I were pleasantly surprised and we loved the place!!!“
“If you’re old like me and like horror, this is the place for you! Great place with a very chill atmosphere. Walk in, take a seat and watch a classic horror movie while enjoying their great selection of beers. The bartenders are some of the best in the business and the owners are the greatest. So come down and join the rest of us “Deadbeats” at the best bar in Providence!“
“Hands down one of my favorite bars in the world. The vibe is awesome, good alcohol selection and good prices. There’s always something cool going on thru out the weeks like paint nights and food trucks. It’s a great place to throw a little party. The people that go regularly are always a good time. I will never stop hanging out at good old Gillies <3“
“A nautical-themed bar on Ives St, Captain's Seaweeds is a fun little bar. It has some elements of a dive bar, but I wouldn't really call it that. While they do have a pool table and fairly cheap beer, imbibers are generally from around the neighborhood, not really the typical dive bar crowd. I mean, there was a group playing with Beyblades when we came. They don't serve food, but there are a couple good options nearby and they'll let you bring in takeout. They do have an outdoor area when the weather's nice, but during the winter the bar tends to get pretty crowded. Lots of nautical themed decorations, which help give it a unique character. All in all, a good option if you're coming for a few drinks and then heading home, but it's a little out of the way if you're trying to bar hop or don't live in the area.“

“We are from out of town and wanted the "local" experience. The bartender was great and he gave us so much insider info about the city and where to go. The regulars were super, the food was simple yet delicious and the live music was a fun bonus!! Definitely get some local beer and the stuffies!!“
“Gary & Craig have carried on the tradition that the Feeney's set for decades prior. Some updates have been made and DO NOT miss out on St Patrick's Day or MORE importantly their annual Toys for Tots fundraiser! The bartenders are all welcoming and it's a great place to see PC basketball away/tournament games or pre/post home hockey, soccer, lacrosse, women's basketball games (because of how close the campus is!“
“This place should be on "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives". Fun dive bar with PHENOMENAL food! From Prime Rib to baked stuffed shrimp to lamb chops, everything Chef Aaron puts out is truly impressive. Check out their weekly specials on their Facebook page. As far as the bar goes...great drinks at really great prices. The bar staff is pretty cool too!“
“True Score: 4.25 Dive Bar StarsNew FavoriteOddly we were at a bar in Franklin, Ma and started to talk to few patrons. One of them suggested that we hang out later in the night at this place called the ETC Lounge. We were skeptical, however we frequent hole in wall spots so off we go.Needless to say we've been back several times. A great affordable dive bar with nice clientele. Everyone is very welcoming to us. The owner Sally is trip and our favorite bartender Nancy treats us like gold. Shout out to patrons Kevin and Carol (she introduced us to the place). Tip: This place can get loud and rowdy late night, all safe and fun though. Tip 2: This place is in back parking lot and you definitely could drive right by it. Keep an eye out. Overall, affordable drinks, loud friendly crowd, and an extremely generous owner. A new regular spot for us. Thanks“
“What a great place for this Irish girl to have traditional Cape Verdean dinner. Everyone was so welcoming and the food was out of this world. My husband could read the menu in Creole and I got to read it in English. If you like to try traditional means and great drinks This is the place for you“
“Pretty good spot. Instead of being a wide open bar like most places it is made up of a couple different rooms. The bar is open to the public if you are willing to pay a cover or if you buy a yearly membership. I believe it was $5 cover or $25 membership. The beer selection is both surprisingly both good and affordable.“
“Look, I'm not a drinker, but if I were, this would be a place for me. My band played there a couple times and man oh man, the place is amazing. It's not where you go to see crazy lights and music so loud that your ears ring, its like cheers“
“I watch my friend get thrown out of this bar. Management wanted to confirm that my friend's ID was real. After getting us kicked out of the bar and ensuing into a bar fight with ownership, My friend got arrested.Other than that, this is a great bar.“
