“Took a walk on Wollaston Beach and ended up here ( as usual) for wings, pizza, hot dog and my favorite... 5 second pour vodka into a Bloody Mary made the old fashioned way WOW!!Food is always hot out of the kitchen... pub/dive bar food( said with love) all for 40 bucks ( food and 4 Mary's)and plenty of real life dive bar patrons.... love this place!!!“
“Kilroy's opened this past summer and calls itself a "five-star dive bar" in homage to Tully's, which used to be here, but walk inside and the airy, bright, upbeat environment is anything but a dive. It's more a cozy, modern sports bar, if the multiple sports screens are any indication. The food and drink are also several steps above typical dive fare, with a solid cocktail offering and beer on tap pairing with sandwiches, salads, and apps like wings and chicken tenders. If anything, a sports pub atmosphere - just brighter and roomier, complete with an upstairs loft. Here's to more businesses like Kilroy's succeeding here in Quincy Center!“
“This place is great. You get what you pay for. We came at 3pm and were served by DeeDee. She was great, didn’t know how much drinks cost but damn were they good. The funny thing is we can back at 1am and the bouncer said that DeeDee hasn’t worked here in ages. Not sure if DeeDee was a ghost but all in all a great experience. Highly recommend.“
“Cool little dive bar we stopped at to grab a drink before an event down the street at Roadrunner.Drinks were tasty and affordable. Had both craft and domestic beers. Free play pool on Saturday until 6.Free popcorn.Touch tunes jukebox is present but while it was empty, the bar was playing a punk rock radio station on XM.There's a bunch of street parking or the CVS lot across the street.“
“This place is a solid dive like bar with a cool atmosphere & great bartenders. When we first got there it was packed with a lot of college aged kids watching the basketball games. Thought about leaving since we were looking for a more bar stool bum kinda place but after talking to the bartender Sean we decided to stay. Crazy coincidence was that his last name & my married last name were almost exactly the same. Only off by one letter which was hilarious (had to be there/ know the last names). We also chatted about closing Wolski's which is a must do for any Milwaukeean or visitor who loves a good ol dive bar. Sean was great with getting drinks to us fast as well as other bar recommendations that were our style. After being there for a bit it cleared out & the bar stool bumming began. If you are looking for a good place to have a cold one at with great convos with the bartenders, pop in here.“
“Easy to get to, one block from redline. Don’t need an Uber. Cheapest drinks I’ve seen around, solid beer selection and two floors of entertainment. I’m coming back no doubt. Btw - They only have snacks but Nbd bc they let you BYOF! Lastly, staff were good people ?“
“My husband and I had a wonderful experience at this pub for dinner on a Saturday night. Despite the busy evening, we were seated promptly. The atmosphere was just right - not too noisy, allowing us to have a peaceful conversation. The pub has a decent amount of seating, considering its size. The staff were friendly, laid back, and added to the relaxed vibe of the place. Overall, it was a no-fuss, enjoyable dining experience. We’d definitely recommend to anyone coming to the area.“
“Oh I loved dining at Trinas! First, the staff is so so friendly - they are a collection of very caring and wonderful folks looking to connect, share and care. I had the butter bourbon cocktail and whatever they have done to create such a divine drink it's mindblowing. A deep flavor, wonderful mouthfeel and perfect balance. I was also very excited to have their root veggie salad which was so fresh, topped with a happy egg. Definitely understand why this is a neighborhood favorite! The vibe is welcoming, with a truly eclectic collection of feel good and included trinkets and decor.“
“Stopped in for a quick beer before a meeting at The Grand Lodge of Masons in Massachusetts. The bar is the same as I remember from 40 plus years ago. Iconic is the best description. Great service, cheap and cold beer. I wish I could have stayed. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.“
“stopped by with my SO tonight- small crowd for a saturday w/ both the bruins and red sox playing. staff was very friendly, quick to help, tough on their mask policy which was appreciated. polite and respective crowd with mixed backgrounds...prob won't be back but worth the visit.“
“The dot tavern has such an amazing environment, the people that work there are amazing. I always have a great time having a couple drinks w my friends!!! Live music is amazing, only the best of the best. Definitely going to keep coming back, Michela is the best bartender!! LOVE THIS “
“The atmosphere is very cozy and tight knit, with the good lighting and comically large selection of beers this place is awesome for anyone wanting to sit down and have a pint. Met a cool regular my first time in and he recommended me and my buddy try the steak bomb, non-frozen chicken tenders, and one of the burgers. We did just that. As a southern man, fried chicken runs in me veins. The chicken here nearly made me shed tears. Probably some of the best fried chicken I’ve ever eaten. Got the double barbecue bacon burger, easily top four or top three burgers I’ve eaten. The steak bomb is delicious too. The portions are large considering the price. I grant the title of southern certified ™ eatin’s.“
“The best Dive Bar left in Boston. Great people, real authentic Boston people, great music, pool and darts, and strong drinks. The type of place where you already feel like part of the neighborhood when you walk in, and you are always welcome.“
“Local dive - inexpensive drinks with mixed crowds. Your experience can certainly vary from night to night - service is as expected, locals will get a bit more attention than you, so be patient!Good place for cheap drinks and to watch the game“
“This place is Absolutely awesome for that one lil dive bar if you're into that sorta thing, Unbelievable Drink's and Super Nice Owner whose Absolutely a riot n his bartender's are spot on with great personalities which goes a long way when it comes to lil dive bar's so this is definitely not for the faint hearted but more for the Adventurous and more laid back type of folks who luv their IRISH BAR'S where every one knows every one almost like Cheer's. But this is just my personal opinion of Callahan's Bar? ?????“
