We live in the area and love coming to McCarthy’s. We just hosted our wedding after party upstairs with a live band, bar and late night snacks and it was AMAZING!! Jimmy Kelly’s Irish session also played for a bit. We have hired them multiple times now and they are really great. We came back in the morning for brunch and it was delicious. Everyone who works here is extremely accommodating and friendly.
Excellent Guinness poor. The chicken wings are top-notch. I'm from Central New York and grew up on buffalo chicken wings so that's a big compliment
We booked the upstairs for a 30th birthday party and it was such a great night. Katy and the rest of the staff were really great with us and everyone had a fab time. Would highly recommend for a private party!!

Toad is a small but charming spot with a great atmosphere, often featuring live music from awesome and interesting bands. On weekends, vinyls add to the ambiance. While it may be compact, Toad is a gem that has stood the test of time, including the pandemic, and continues to deliver a great time. Highly recommended, it's a fun spot to visit with no expectations and discover something new.
