Benjamin's Reviews
Come across this joint some years back. Honestly the best spot in Newport for seafood and drinks. Actually everything they cook is amazing. Raw bar is great as well. If you find yourself in the area and don't stop in....you suck. Seriously best spot in Newport
Benjamin’s amazes me. It is definitely a great bar, fun time, a lot of action - and the food will blow you away. We’ve had the swordfish, best ever. And the Halibut with Lobster hash was amazing. And the Prime Rib oooo the Prime Rib is melt in your mouth wonderful. And if you go to the downstairs bar, ask for Mike or Luke, the cocktails are spectacular.
Awesome food and experience!!! Great bartender!

Benjamin's restaurant is a popular spot known for its lively atmosphere and delicious seafood. The bartenders and servers are entertaining and engaging, making it a great place to enjoy a night out. The calamari stands out as exceptional, and other menu items like frog legs and oysters are also highly recommended. Customers have recently praised meals such as the Seafood Linguini, which comes with a tasty garlicky broth and a variety of seafood, and the stuffed rock sole, both of which are more than enough to fill guests. During happy hour, oysters are only $1.50 and are generously sized. The restaurant offers a variety of seafood options, including clams and shrimp, all fresh and flavorful. The staff is friendly, and the vibe is fun, making it a place worth returning to for a great dining experience.
The downstairs bar has a lively action scene, while the upstairs is more upscale and kid-friendly. The restaurant is known for its awesome special on Tuesdays with half-off raw oysters, clams casino, and oyster Rockefeller, making it a popular choice for regulars. The service is quick, and the cocktails served downstairs by Mike or Luke are spectacular. Although the beer selection may be limited, the overall atmosphere is both fun and inviting, with many locals dining here. Parking options include two bars, catering to different crowds, and the noise level can get high when the place is full, but this should not deter anyone from enjoying a meal at Benjamin's.
