Reviews for Troop

How in the heck have I failed to review my most favorite brunch spot in all of RI yet? Let's remedy that right now! Atmosphere is a lot of fun and the service is always great. Inside is visually stimulating, always good music playing, friendly people, lively energy, and yummy food. It hits all the senses. At brunch we usually opt for the bottomless mimosas and they are always attentive and quick to keep those glasses filled. But the food is the real reason we keep coming full review

Ordered the "catch of the day" main /entree dish. $22 dollars. 2 scallops and 3 baby carrots were served to me. We asked if that was the correct portion politely, and got a very passive aggressive response of "some dishes are smaller than others". Yucca fries weren't that good, (not fresh), salad was the best part. The bartender passed us dozens of times without checking in on us even as we kept trying to get her attention. Just wow.

Stumbled upon Troop as I was looking to grab a quick bite. Little did I realize I'd be bobbing my head to the tunes and having some great conversation with the bartender (shoutout Jim) while eating some awesome food. Portions were very fairly priced (pork belly was killer good) - would come back in a heart beat to try the rest of the menu. Caught myself texting friends in the middle of my dinner that they needed to check this spot out asap. Super unique, great work all around!
