“Do not live here if you care about your car. On two separate occasions my car was vandalized and my roommates car was stolen from the off street parking. The landlords have done nothing to improve the security.“

“Went to the Foxes Hill neighborhood in Providence to try out a Morroccan spot, but it ended up being closed. Luckily, right around the corner was Aguardente, which is a Guatamalen & Portuguese tapas restaurant. Love the interior decorations and warm welcoming vibe. We started with quejo de cabra, rellenitos, & the minha caiparinha. Then we had the batatas fritas, empanadas de pollos, polvo grelhado, & almondegas. Everything from the service to all of the dishes being seasoned perfectly and tasted amazing.“

I only got pics of our appetizers as we were hungry and chowed on our mani courses. Started with a 1930 DAQ, Wawtuhmelon and a Vino Rosso Gaio - all drinks were tasty! We started with the Truffle fries and the Crispy Duck Meatballs- oh my both were great! The flavor in the Duck meatballs was amazing! The sweet chili glaze just hits it out of the park! On to dinner I ordered the Steak Frites - excellent flavor and cooked perfect! Wife ordered the Chicken Picatta - very tasty with a great lemon flavor! “Classic dark interior low lighting cocktail lounge. Our party of four enjoyed a mix of cocktails and a couple of beers at reasonable prices. Only a brief visit on this occasion as it was the one for the road as they say but would definitely return when I have more time.“

“Dined here last night before PPAC, for that reason we made an early dinner reservation. I confirmed when calling they had valet parking. We arrived to find no valet attendant. After some back and forth with hostess and manager my husband was finally able to come inside for dinner, nearly 30 mins wasted. Our server AJ provided exemplarry service; she was personable and knew the menu like the back of her hand. We appreciated her service, and our dinners were all very good. As we departed we confirmed with the tardy valet attendant if we could leave the car and pick up after the show as we do with neighboring establishments and he said no because they would be closed by the time the show was over; this couldn’t have been further from the truth. The valet was rude, late, and it’s terribly unfortunate that the valet ruined what could have been a great dinner with friends.“

“Location/decor/ambiance: the owners have tried to turn the spacious brick and beam interior of a former factory building into a ghetto-ish inner cityscape skateboard park using graffiti-style airbrush graphics, little skateboards that serve as bar chair seat backs, concrete floors painted with Providence manhole covers, etc. Visually, the effect is mixed. I “get” what the owners are trying for, but it isn’t for me an “attractive” dining decor. It looks much more like a dance club for young twenty-somethings. I quickly adjusted to the inner-city grunge decor, but what we couldn’t adjust to was the VERY loud rap/hip-hop music blaring out of some very robust speakers non-stop. Talking was difficult. Yes, I’m an older person, but I don’t begrudge anyone their musical sensibilities… provide its not full of “***** and “nigga” and roaring out at at least 90 decibels. Whatever they’re trying to be, they need to remember that they are l (at 10 am) a restaurant, not a dance club. Food & service: unexpectedly, given the above criticism, the food was outstanding, I mean really good. Caught us off guard. Just beautifully imagined and realized. Would I return? Probably not. Even the great food cant quite overcome the soundscape. Interesting place, though“

“First time as was in town from Newport to see Little Jagged Pill at PPAC. Bartender (Tim?) was excellent friendly, knowledgeable on menu and made great handcrafted drinks. Manager (she moved here from NYC) was also excellent. I ordered the pork loin special, one of my friends ordered to porchetta over grits (I was a bit jealous as it was amazing. Overall a great experience.“

“Had an incredible meal there last night! The buffalo chicken egg rolls, the Rogue Melt, and the lobster Mac & cheese. All amazing! I’m more of a vodka drinker but the beer selection was incredible and our waiter helped me pick the perfect wheat beer! 100% I’d go back (when in town). A definite 2 thumbs up!“

Owner Geo was there and had a wonderful chat w/ him about the history of the restaurant and his family and ancestors being displaced during the Greek genocide in the 19-teens. Very caring man who runs his restaurant largely in memory of his grandmother, but is also a well run business. We plan to return on a regular basis.“

“Absolutely blown away by how amazing this place was! We went for dinner Saturday night not knowing what to expect, and it exceeded every expectation. We frequent Providence and love Italian food, but we’ve struggled to find a restaurant that meets our standards. The rigatoni alla vodka with chicken cutlet and chicken Alfredo were both outstanding! The espresso martini was one of the best I’ve had as well

Saturday nights feature an elevated experience with a live DJ, so be prepared for loud music. We loved the atmosphere for a fun night out in Providence!

“Another day, another chance for more tacos with the RI Food Fight's TacoMania. This time we started with Diego's. As it was a Saturday, no tables were available from reservations but we were able to grab a seat at the bar. The space is open, dark. A blend of Mexican homage and industrial brick. An open kitchen gives you the chance to watch your meal be prepared in full view. Our bartender, Greer was super friendly and balanced attentiveness. She is detail oriented and was very accommodating. She quickly took care of our drinks and got our food order in ASAP. They offered a limited menu for TacoMania and I chose the carne option. It came out in a crunchy blue corn tortilla. After a squeeze of lime, I dug in. The crunch was everything you wanted it to be and more. The beef with queso fundido made this a slight messy but overall delicious taco. We got the cornbread souffle to share and it was outstanding. The souffle itself was savory and very corn forward, as opposed to the sweeter cornbread you see in the south. They add a touch of something sweet to balance it out. My friend had the shrimp chimichirri tacos and they said they were a 10/10. So glad to find another tasty spot in the TacoMania trail!“

“Jorge was amazing!!! makes your experience very enjoyable! He was 10/10.. If you’re looking for Thai food when in Providence this is 100% the place to go. I’d highly recommend trying this place if you’ve never had Thai food for your first time because you can order anything on the menu and you’ll be very happy! Chicken Pad Thai and Beef Pad see ew were both homeruns and how could you go wrong with crispy spring rolls to start. Thank you for a unforgettable lunch in providence!“

We had dinner at Fleur (on the second floor of the Omni Providence Hotel) and it was such a lovely evening. The space is elegant and bright with gorgeous floral touches, soft lighting, and a sophisticated yet inviting vibe—perfect for a special night out.
The Parisian and Mediterranean-inspired menu did not disappoint. Everything we ordered was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. The seafood was fresh, the cocktails were creative and well-balanced, and the overall quality was excellent. Service was warm, attentive, and professional without feeling stuffy.
Whether you’re a hotel guest or just looking for a refined spot in downtown Providence, Fleur is a standout. We’ll definitely be back for brunch or another dinner soon!

“Another great dining experience at Yellow Door. Drinks were tasty and we enjoyed the drink specials, especially the margaritas. We all had the tacos (chicken tinga, burria and tofu) and chips and salsa and shared the churros for dessert. Service was excellent. We will be back.“

“I very much enjoyed my experience at OURS. The food was delectable and the drinks were tasteful. I very much enjoyed the wings with the Garlic as well as the Steak Tikka. It was $30 which some might consider pricey, but came with a very large portion of food. It included hummus, nan, rice, a salad and of course the steak, so I’d say it’s fairly priced. Overall I enjoyed the food and will certainly return but next time I’ll try the hookah!“

“I was bummed to learn that my favorite breakfast/brunch spot at home had gone downhill, as the owners aged and put it on the market. Rather than risk having my last memory be a bad one, I went to a new place, Jazzy's, and it was superb! I was torn between the Lobster Benedict and the Crab Cakes Benedict, so the server asked the kitchen to give my one of each🤗🤗🤗... she is definitely my SHE-RO! I chose cinnamon apples as my side. My mom had Juevos Rancheros, and my dad had Loaded Hash Browns, and the rest of my and my mom's food (he's very smart).“

“I came here for taco Tuesday and the food was very good. I wasn't impressed at all with the service. Upon arriving , there was no host to greet even though there was a sign that said wait to be seated. Once the bartender took notice she seated us. Our service was very slow.
We sat outside, where there is plenty of bar and table seating along with indoor seating. I will come again but service needs improvement.“

“I love going to Jacky’s at Waterplace because it’s a short walk from work and a perfect spot if it’s sunny out to sit inside. I always get their Bean Curd (tofu) in General Tso’s sauce. It’s extremely well prepared, with a very thin batter and deep fried. I wish I knew how to make it at home. Their lunch special comes with miso soup or side salad (with very good carrot ginger dressing) and is served with either white, brown, or fried rice and broccoli. No substitutions are allowed but excellent lunch at $12 (2026).“
