Phed Phed offers a double-sided menu featuring tasty Thai food from Phed Phed plus the menu from the Japanese restaurant next door, Tori Tomo. The concept of ordering from two different menus is a highlight. The place gets crowded around noon time, and most tables ordered ramen. The inside is decorated nice with plenty of seating, and if it fills up, guests can sit next door in Tori Tomo and still order from both menus.
The restaurant delivers great Thai flavors. The papaya salad is spicy and not for the faint of heart, while the massaman curry flavors were so good. It is definitely a place for an authentic Thai experience. The Pad Thai is the best in Providence / New England. The Chicken Pad Thai and Beef Pad see ew were both homeruns, and the crispy spring rolls are a great start. The Drunken Noodles with beef and extra veges were delicious, one of the best ever. The original sticky wings and salad rolls with shrimp are addictive, with freshness and sauce that keeps people coming back. The wings are some of the best in town, and the Ichiraku ramen from Tori Tomo is delicious. Friendly service and a nice interior make it a place to return to for the wings and salad rolls.
