“In college row, Providence, RI?Get the Thai rotisserie with spicy Thai Chile sauce and the heng cocktail flight. If they say the drink or sauce is spicy, it is!Very affordable and huge space in the basement.Street parking is easy!Dietary restrictions: Lots of dairy free optionsParking: Easy to park on the street for free in a Saturday night”
“We went there a few weeks ago from the suggestion of a neighboring restaurant to try. After just eating at the other restaurant. We stopped in quickly just to take a look. We ordered sticky wing's and Crab ragoon to go. Were delicious. Went again yesterday, was pleasantly busy but not overly. Was seated right away the place by no means isn't modern but was definitely cleaner then the last restaurant who suggested coming here. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything was fresh and hot. We ordered from the lunch menu and the portion size looked liked dinner. Plenty of food options. Found our new spot. !!! Well worth the ride.Parking: The area, you need to watch carefully for a space. You'll find parking, but like anywhere in PV it's luck.”
“We came here on a weekend afternoon and called in a reservation for 10 people. The place was pretty empty aside from a few to-go orders. The food took awhile to get to us but we weren't in a rush. Plus, it meant that everything was being made very fresh, which our food very much was. Among the 10 of us, we ordered a lot of food, including the papaya salad, dumplings, scallion pancakes, yellow curry, and pineapple fried rice. The scallion pancakes weee perfectly crispy and flaky, and were really quite good. The papaya salad also had all the fine flavors. Everyone also enjoyed the dumplings. I think the pineapple fried rice could have been more fragrant and I was disappointed that the yellow curry wasn't as sweet, or as fragrant as I'm used to, but it was still really good stuff. But I'm glad the curry came with rice and that we didn't have to place extra orders there. Overall I'm really glad we settled on this Thai place - it was really quite good and the prices were very reasonable. They also made it very easy for us to pay by keeping separate tabs for each family. And it was nice they have a private parking lot as well so you don't have to park your car in the street. I definitely recommend this place. The place is well decorated, clean, and has a good amount of tables for various customers.”
“Got some pad see u with added seafood and spring rolls; spring rolls delightfully crisp without being overly salty like a lot of other spring rolls can be, and the noodles were delicious with crisp veggies and fresh seafood. I'll definitely be back.”
“Food is amazing! From the perfectly crispy crab rangoons with fresh duck sauce to the Mongolian beef combo dish with some extra spice, the mango curry with beef and the newly added nime chow with an awesome peanut sauce, best Thai we have had in a while!”
“Thailand is really good and their spice rating is legit so MAKE sure you look at the menu if you are sensitive. I went with the red curry and shrimp fresh rolls (summer rolls). There were delicious and the service was great. The ingredients taste noticeably fresh and the chicken in the red curry and shrimp in the rolls were great! I would definitely go back for another takeout order! Checkout was easy and fast. The sauce for the fresh rolls is a really fresh dark peanut sauce which was nice and i also dipped my summer roll into the red curry sauce. The vegetables inside the fresh rolls were perfectly crunchy and in the red curry they were nicely cooked.”
“Great menu. Fresh ingredients. Pleasant staff. Our family has never been disappointed. It's time we ordered the eggplant with garlic-so yummy. Celebrating my son's 18th birthday had a very enjoyable time. He loved the Clam Tom Yam soup. The Waiter gave great suggestions. We hadn't been there in a while, but we'll be back. Thanks Austin!Vegetarian options: So manyKid-friendliness: Great family place with big round tables and good pricesParking: Shared parking lot with plaza, but more than ample specifically for the restaurant.”
“Staff is polite. I've never dined in but they do have the option. The food is good and they appear to be pretty popular a lot of people order and come in. I get the vegi-eggrolls, nime chow, and garlic noodles which I really enjoy and my kids like it too.Vegetarian options: You can customize almost anything.”
“Best Thai food in my life! I’m from Colorado and ate here with my sister who lives in RI. I’m a foodie and food snob. I tried this place once and can’t wait to go back! Fresh ingredients used and the best pad Thai I’ve ever tried! Tom yum soup was also delicious! Don’t miss this gem!”
“Got an order via GH. It was room temp when it got here but that's on GH driver (who def was doing more than one run at a time) not the restaurant, so I popped everything in my air fryer (thank God for whoever brought air fryers to the masses) for literally 4 minutes and it all got hot again, came out perfect like it was fresh at the restaurant. And it was SO good. So I will 100% order from them again and will probably just go eat there to give them the business. I got the coconut shrimp and takoyaki. It was so delicious. The takoyaki could have had more scallions or something in it they just seemed to have the octopus but it was still good. And the shrimp were really yummy and the sauces were great too. Really glad I took the plunge and treated myself. It was a little steep but I'm satisfied. Good stuff. (Took 1 star off for service and ambiance since it was a takeout order I didn't actually go so I can't really say good or bad about it, but the food was good enough to err on the side of positive)”
“Asian Bakery is incredibly tasty, reliable, and locally owned. Each dish they offer is delicious, filling, and remarkably easy on the wallet. Food is prepped quickly with no loss of quality, definitely earning the "and Fast Food" addendum.I recommend any variation of their bánh mi - the veggie toppings are always fresh and crisp, and the baguettes are crusty and airy, but hardy enough to stand up to whatever protein you fancy.Additionally, their steamed buns can be a meal on their own. The bun itself is slightly sweet and bready, while the filling provides a savory punch with pork coupled with a few slices of sausage and a boiled egg.Definitely worth a trip to check this place out next time you find yourself in the neighborhood - but bring cash cause they're cash only!”
