“Edit :I gave it another try couple time and they are really great. The owner is always nice to me - the food is great. Thank you for the best service.Small portions for high price. The communication is worse and they are unclear on the price.Edit:I tried to give them another try but it was worse than last time. One of the employees who was bad with us last few times, asked the girl to fill the rice and leave the meat for him to fill and that only happened to me. I had someone with me who came for the first time to your place and she said: I saw them filling the plates with bigger portions than yours. We used to come every week to you but we are done with you.If there is a minus stars, I would have given you all of them.Horrible communication.”
“Staff is polite. I've never dined in but they do have the option. The food is good and they appear to be pretty popular a lot of people order and come in. I get the vegi-eggrolls, nime chow, and garlic noodles which I really enjoy and my kids like it too.Vegetarian options: You can customize almost anything.”
“Family style meal with a group of six (that comfortably fit in one giant booth). Everything was delicious, I barely remember half of what we ordered because it was so sensorily pleasureable I was drunk on the food before I even took a bite. Even a seemingly plain dish like boo Choy and mushrooms was prepared and plated with the quality of fine dining. Best food I’ve had in ages. Definitely going to be a date spot.”
“I have been coming to China Sails for years. It is some of the best Chinese take out food you can get anywhere. I have eaten a lot of take out in my life and this is definitely one of the best ever if not the absolute best. Honestly, everything is so good! And the family who runs the restaurant are friendly and really care about their food and customers. They are so consistent and fast too & they have so many regular customers. I absolutely love this place and feel really lucky to have them right near where I live!”
“Food was so good that it made up for the rudeness I received over the phone. I was prepared to give it a bad review but I respect the food way too much. It definitely became My go to for Chinese food from now on!Added pictures of the menu as it’s hard to find anywhere online”
“This place was cool. I really like the spot light out front. The food was pretty good too. Bibimbap is FRIGGEN huge. The service was... odd. The table was set for 3 when we had a group of 4 and then we ordered our food. This is where is got strange. One entree came out, then our drinks, then two entrees, then the last one, then one appetizer, then the last two appetizers? I was very confused. All the good was good but it was just an odd order for food to appear in. I'll be back for sure.”
“Mandarin Garden is my go-to spot for delicious, no-fuss Chinese food in the neighborhood. They serve up classic dishes like chicken wings, French fries, pork fried rice, and chicken and broccoli that are simply unbeatable. What sets them apart is their affordable prices and the fact that they’ve been a beloved part of the community for years. The friendly staff always make you feel welcome, and you can count on the food being fresh every time you visit. One thing to note: Mandarin Garden is a cash-only establishment, so make sure to bring some bills with you. But that just adds to its old-school charm. If you’re looking for tasty, straightforward Chinese cuisine without breaking the bank, Mandarin Garden is the place to be. Highly recommended”
“My husband and I LOVEE this place so much, their team is so friendly and informative. The food is always on point every time we went there. Highlight recommend level 1 or 2 for starters then you can level up your spice for the next visit. We always wish to have a place like this in RI and we’re so glad it’s here.”
“You wouldn't expect by looking at it that this is one of the better spots for good, fast chinese food in Providence. The sticky wings are amazing. Also has some hispanic dishes. The only reason I don't give them a 5 is occasional inconsistency.”
“For a few years now my wife has been watching Korean television on Netflix, so for our annniversary trip I had to make sure she got to try hot pot.Bustling on a Sunday night but not noisy, we had to wait maybe 5 minutes for a table..not bad at all.Good variety on the drinks menu and while the Zombie looked tempting I stuck with ginger ale.A wide variety of options (some sold out but that's the new normal) so we had beef and chicken and tofu with bone broth/spicy vegetarian broth (Medium) and veggies.Confession- before tonight I'd never used chopsticks for an entire meal. Nobody laughed at my efforts.Refills and advice were swift and respectful and the staff wasn't obtrusive.'Medium' was what Minnesotans would call 'Extra Hot' but I adapted and the taste came through along with the heat.Rice buns for dessert capped off the meal, time well spent with ample food for our money. Not an experience to miss, even if you have to get silverware (at the sauce buffet).”
