“We had a great dinner there just before the Waterfires. I am a big fan of the Mongolian Beef, and my daughter traditionally gets the lo mein. Our server, Suelly, was excellent. She was super friendly, and helped to make sure the ingredients wouldn't interfere with food restrictions. We also had fun talking with her about music, concerts and other live performances. It's a great place to get good food and watch the people passing by outside in downtown Providence.“

“It's order, make sure you have cash (cash only), pickup and go...There used to be atmosphere years ago when that door used to lead to a dining room but I'm sure hardly any of the current customers remember that. There's only one Chinese takeout spot that I would choose over them and people who live on the South Side know exactly what I'm talking about.

None of that matters because the food has remained consistently good, prices don't really change to a degree that's noticeable and the portions remain plentiful ⭐“

“I walked in on a hot day to get a Togo order and it rained so I was invited to eat there as I waited for the rain to passed. The best I can explain is that the people who work there are locals and a extremely sweet family the food is more then worth the price I get a combo plus sweet and sour chicken and legit I just paid only 16 and left a tip one of the first times I didn’t feel forced to and wasn’t asked I just felt it necessary.“

The tea was delightful, and everything came at an extremely affordable price. The waiter and the owner were both exceptionally friendly, which made the whole visit even better.

“We went to Fu Ming at the recommendation of good friends. I will tell you, this restaurant did NOT disappoint!! From the atmosphere to the friendly, attentive staff and the delicious cuisine, this place has it going on. The scallion pancake was phenomenal!! Everything was and tasted so fresh, even the fried foods, no taste of old or stale grease. Our whole meal was wonderful. The Scorpion Bowl for 2 was as tasty as it was STRONG!! They are CASH ONLY but there is an ATM next door at the gas station. The atmosphere is a perfect walk in five Chinese food place. “As far as straight down the middle, take-out, Chinese-American cuisine, there are few places better than Golden City. Portions are great, they nail l the classics, Rangoon’s, spare ribs, chicken fingers, lo mein, fried rice, it’s always fantastic, dive deeper into their Chef Suggestions or specialties and you’ll probably find a new favorite! “Tried today for the first time. Based on the location and street view appearance I was not expecting much, but this is the best chinese food I have had in Pawtucket so far. Hot, fresh, and delicious. Diner itself is kind of small and lacks any ambience feeling more like an employee breakroom than a restaurant but the people who work there are pleasant and the food is top notch. It was quickly cooked to order and provided steaming hot and perfectly done. This will be my new go to. Mon Kou who?“
