“I have been coming here I believe just 30 years now. This is beef chow foon noodles. Sorry I had some before I decided to take the picture because it tasted so good.. I highly recommend the crab rangoons the beef chalfoon the sizzling seafood platter and of course they're mai Tai s cocktails. Great TVs too if you want to watch our great Boston sports teams.Parking: It's on main Street so you have to find a parking spot but it's not a long walk if you have to look down the street.. in the winter when there are snow banks is only time that parking is probably really quite challenging but that is anywhere.Wheelchair accessibility: There's a wheelchair ramp on the side entrance.“

“Got takeout for the first time here with some coworkers. We all got the lunch combos. The portions were huge!! I had enough for 3 meals. I got the kungpao chicken with white rice. It was the best I’ve had in MA. My coworkers all loved their meals. We’re going back this week for another take out!They let us pick up our takeout and eat it there. That was very accommodating“

“Easily the best and most authentic Chinese food in the area, or even broadly Massachusetts. Excellent high quality food at a price that is more than fair. Delicious, flavorful, always on time, with great staff who obviously care about their craft. I cannot recommend them enough.“

“I love Chinese and Japanese food and this restaurant is a great combo of both. Delicious food and they serve Takoyaki here which I love but when they make the Takoyaki they only serve it with the Japanese mayo on it but no Takoyaki sauce but I still enjoy it. Great food every time.“

Everything is wonderfully seasoned and carefully prepared. when we lived locally we got takeout from Lilac House at least once a month. we now live in New Hampshire and I make special trips to Millis just to get egg rolls, crab Rangoon, mooshi, fried rice, and ginger chicken with string beans. “In a town that has a restaurant known across the state for their Buffalo Wings, Jasmine Garden should be known for their Spareribs on the Bone! I eat at some of the best Chinese restaurants in the state and I would put Jasmine Garden's up against any of them. However that's just one of the many great things they offer. Their Hot and Sour Soup is old school with wood ear mushrooms, pork floss and all the fillers with a nice complex flavor finished with just the right amount of heat. Their Beef Teriyaki is extremely tender, flavorful and is right up there with the best. I got the Pork Fried Rice without onions. It was dark, flavorful and loaded with pork, egg, and bean sprouts. They definitely don't hold back. Their lobster sauce has a really nice flavor with a sweet finish. Mixed with the rice it is perfect. My daughter had the Dragon Roll and very much enjoyed it. All of the food that I have had here has been solid. The staff is friendly and accommodating. This is a real hidden gem. Very easy to get to from 495 or 95. I rank this extremely high on my list of Massachusetts Chinese restaurants. If you like ribs, it is worth the journey from wherever you are at.“

One thing I noticed is that the Gao is very difficult to chew, and is stringy. “Finally found a decent authentic Asian place in Massachusetts. Still no comparison to what we have in Seattle. Walked into a somewhat dark and odd smelling place. Prepared myself and my daughter for another harrowing Asian food experience in Mass. I was so wrong and this place surprised me. I've finally figured Chow Mein in the NW does not equivalte to the Chow Mein in NE. Ordered Mongolian Beef, Orange Chicken, Sichuan Chicken, Hot & Sour Soup, Egg Rolls, Buffalo Wings, and Crab Rangoon. The soup was absolutely delicious and fresh. The orange chicken, drum roll please, was NOT breaded and drenched in sweet sauce. The egg rolls were also freshly hand made. The Mongolian Beef and Scichuan Chicken was not drowning in thick sauce and overloaded with the entire vegetable garden. Crab Rangoon was average and wings were just regular hot buffalo wings. Chow Mein was unappetizing and looked really sad. Only wish the food was actually spicy. The flavors were really mild. Asked for hot sauce and was given Sriracha sauce. No complimenrary Oolong tea. ? We will be back! It's worth the 2 hour trip!“

“I’ve been eating here for almost 3 years. The food is always tasty. I usually just order pick up but this time I sat inside. No complaints. Portions are very large, aka leftovers ;).Prices are similar to most other places.Ample parking space.“

“Food here is very good! We had the hot n' sour and wonton soups. Hot n' sour not all that spicy on this evening. I prefer spicier but it was delicious and packed with black mushrooms, etc. Egg rolls were good, boneless spare ribs were the strip type. They weren't bad but I like the meatier types. We also had the Ginjo fried rice which wasn't dark - I prefer a lighter style - and had big chunks of pork, shrimp and other ingredients. Fresh and good. Also we had the Singapore rice noodles. This was also very good. Light curry with snow peas, shrimp, etc. Overall a very good meal and we would definitely go back. They have an extensive sushi menu here but we didn't try it. Small but clean space.“

“Jealous of the locals as this place is worth the drive if ya don't live close. Ignore the typical 3 something stars is the best asian. This on is not your standard New England asian. Try something other than your go-to normal dish. Your tastes buds will thank you.“

“I had a really nice time at Golden Abacus. We eat at it's neighbor, gyro and kebab frequently and I wanted to give it a shot. We were seated promptly and received our food quickly. We both got dinner combos and I really enjoyed the food. My husband and I both thought the amount of food was good value for money. I really enjoyed the food and so did other folks in the dining room. I heard one woman telling the waiter that she comes down from Jamaica plain for it and she'd brought her daughter to try it. Now, that's a rave! I am not sure I'd drive from JP for it but it was solid Chinese food. The parking lot for this set of businesses can be a little intense if it's busy, but it's usually fine. Also there is a psychic next door if you want to spice up your outing.“

“It was very quiet when I visited, I had been out and needed to get food and was craving Chinese food. I have many allergies, and they were very caring about what I ordered. “This is mainly a takeout restaurant. It does have a few tables though. My ratings are basically on the food. The staff inside were friendly. It had that real dark New England duck sauce. Egg Rolls are perfect! The Beef Teriyaki is absolutely delicious. Very tender and well marinated. Wings were well marinated and juicy. The Boneless Spareribs were tender, low fat and had a nice flavor. The Lobster Sauce was old school dark and delicious with plenty of pork, the right thickness and a nice flavoring. Pork Fried Rice was solid. Great place to grab food to go!“

“Consistently good chinese food. All of the staples are prepared well, and I love that you when you ask for added spiciness they deliver it. The sushi quality is actually quite good considering it wasn't something they offered from the beginning. Been eating this food for 20 years and it had maintained a pretty high quality.“

“the food here is pretty good - i liked the crab rangoons a lot but didn't love the tuna on top of the tiger maki at all. definitely recommend the scorpion bowl to share if you're 21+ (it's strong!), it was a fun little experience! our service wasn't the best but i like that they have a pretty extensive menu with a good amount of options, so worth a try.“

“Food is great, always ready fast and served hot and very friendly staff. I have never had any orders get messed up, I'm there almost every weekend, parking is OK, they have a small parking lot in front and street parking in the sides, I think 3 tables inside, so you can eat inside if you want. No stairs going in, so you can get a wheel chair also if need be.“
