“Finally found a decent authentic Asian place in Massachusetts. Still no comparison to what we have in Seattle. Walked into a somewhat dark and odd smelling place. Prepared myself and my daughter for another harrowing Asian food experience in Mass. I was so wrong and this place surprised me. I've finally figured Chow Mein in the NW does not equivalte to the Chow Mein in NE. Ordered Mongolian Beef, Orange Chicken, Sichuan Chicken, Hot & Sour Soup, Egg Rolls, Buffalo Wings, and Crab Rangoon. The soup was absolutely delicious and fresh. The orange chicken, drum roll please, was NOT breaded and drenched in sweet sauce. The egg rolls were also freshly hand made. The Mongolian Beef and Scichuan Chicken was not drowning in thick sauce and overloaded with the entire vegetable garden. Crab Rangoon was average and wings were just regular hot buffalo wings. Chow Mein was unappetizing and looked really sad. Only wish the food was actually spicy. The flavors were really mild. Asked for hot sauce and was given Sriracha sauce. No complimenrary Oolong tea. ? We will be back! It's worth the 2 hour trip!“
“Food is great, always ready fast and served hot and very friendly staff. I have never had any orders get messed up, I'm there almost every weekend, parking is OK, they have a small parking lot in front and street parking in the sides, I think 3 tables inside, so you can eat inside if you want. No stairs going in, so you can get a wheel chair also if need be.“
“First time trying Mr. Chef's...I ordered the orange chicken with crab Rangoon and they did forget my crab Rangoon. I drove back a few mins later and got them. Glad I did, one of the best crab rangoon I've had. Orange chicken was decent, good portion size. Good price as well. Staff was very nice. Restaurant was well decorated and clean.“
“I always used to go to golden palace and the food was pretty good but I recently moved and one night I tried to search Chinese restaurants open near me and golden palace popped up I was surprised I could get food delivered given I'm living out near Mansfield. All I can say is the food was great nice and fresh chicken lomein with boneless ribs and not a long delivery time either thanks peter and Loretta we enjoyed the egg rolls also have a Happy New Year 2023“
“Chinatown hits all the high marks. Their sushi and sashimi are fresh and cut well. Their orange chicken is savory, crispy, and tangy. I highly recommend the kamikaze and the vegetarian roll- absolute epicurean delight!! A few hours later, my family always wants to go right back! The best part is - Henry is warm, generous, and makes you feel right at home!“
“We all thoroughly enjoyed our Hot Pot Buffet. Great value for high quality ingredients that were very fresh. We tried several choices not typically found at other restaurants. Our fantastic wait staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and highly efficient. We recommend Fairy Cafe and will definitely be back.“
“Soups here are very good and flavorful. The service is quick (implied by the name 10 second delivery) because the prep is done in advance. If you get takeout, expect noodles and most toppings to be packaged separately as trays to one container. Parking can be found on the side road. It's located behind Wollaston station.“
“Pleasantly surprised! We came here on a Saturday for lunch and ordered plenty of dishes which we all enjoyed. We tried the string beans, spicy fish filets, Shanghai noodles, fried rice and smoked duck. The Shanghai noodles were more of a crispy chow mein than the thicker noodle I was expecting, but it was still yummy! Service was nice and attentive as well. Unassuming on the outside, but great taste and big portions.“
“We decided to try this cafe. Very small but the food is delicious. Ordered the rice rolls with liver (for you who like liver, it was yummy!) but they certainly had loads of choices of fillings. The Chow Fun (we had chicken instead of beef) had plenty of bean sprouts as it should be. Yummy homemade wanton soup warmed us as it was a rainy day and our last dish was the pork rib in bean sauce clay pot. Everything looked so tasty we cleaned off the first dishes before I remembered to take photos which are here! Lol“
“Surprisingly good for an austere shop. My daughter was singing her praises of it last week and dragged the rest of the family in. Her favorite is the beef and broccoli combo. My son enjoyed his shrimp fried rice and is not easily pleased. The portions are generous, and the vegetable lo mein I had was delightful and filling. We will be back again, I am sure!“
