“I was drawn in by the Roast Duck Noodle Soup - when I saw it, I knew that would be dinner for the night! Walking into Boston Soup Dumplings on Friday night, the restaurant was pretty full. The whole interior is made up of tables for seating. You have to order using a QR code, which probably makes the food come out faster. Of course I ordered the soup but I was slightly disappointed. The broth didn't have that much flavor and the duck was mostly bone. To be fair, it did mention on the menu that the broth wasn't spicy. I noted that and added some chili oil which definitely kicked it up a notch. The meat that was on the duck was beautifully seasoned - downright delicious! But there was so little of it, I found myself searching through the bone/skin/fat pieces trying to find more meat. Not sure if it was just my bowl or that's the way its served. Overall, it was a good experience and I know they're known for heir dumplings, so maybe I'll try that next time!“

Prices are still comparable to other premium hotpot places but the late hours and discount sets it apart from other places.I love their knife cut noodles and it's only $1.99 per order. The last time I got it, there was a bug in my veggies and needless to say, I didn't have an appetite afterwards and never ordered the AYCE hot pot again. Each visit, I tried a different soup and after 10 visits, my favorite is the Japanese style pork ramen AND the salt and pepper chicken wings. Don't forget the milk tea! The Mala Wok here is much better than the ones from Mala Restaurant right across the street, the portion is a bit smaller than Mala Restaurant, but flavor wise, was much better. The beef pot was also great, though not as good as Kung Fu Mala which is also across the street. I speak Cantonese and so do the staffs there, and they were extremely friendly and nice. “We always went to the Gourmet Dumpling House in Chinatown. We did not expect the new one to be the same but we found that in so many ways it is better. The ambience, staff and service is better … maybe because there is more room. We go as often as we can and here is our visit on New Years Eve. The Owner and Chef Xuehua seems to always have time to say hello and offer her suggestions on what to eat. It is advice you will not regret taking. We will be going again in a couple of days. “We decided to try this cafe. Very small but the food is delicious. Ordered the rice rolls with liver (for you who like liver, it was yummy!) but they certainly had loads of choices of fillings. The Chow Fun (we had chicken instead of beef) had plenty of bean sprouts as it should be. Yummy homemade wanton soup warmed us as it was a rainy day and our last dish was the pork rib in bean sauce clay pot. The place was empty - only us in the restaurant, so service was quite fast.The lunch special came in a square wooden box with an appetizer, a choice for protein, a choice of veggies and a staple food. I came with a friend, so I was able to try 2 of everything. :) And despite initially thinking it wouldn't be filling, it actually was.The chicken kebab was the fan favorite. It was soft and moist, and had amazing seasoning. The beef kebab was a lil hard to chew with all the fat. The potato chips were my second favorite, as they were thinly sliced, very crisp and nicely seasoned. The fried tofu, oyster mushrooms, and the egg fried rice were all pretty good as well. The only thing that was slightly lacking was the lamb burger, as it did not have much meat inside and lacked a bit of flavor.“

When I traveled out of New England it was so hard to find Chicken Fingers, then I was told to ask for sweet and sour chicken.
