This is easily my new favorite in Brookline. The rice is cooked very well, with a crispy layer around the edges of the clay pot that’s lightly browned and crunchy which is exactly what you want to look for in clay pot rice. Sue recommended mixing the beef brisket with Chinese sausage into the rice, and it was amazing. Went here a dozen times and have had an amazing dining experience every time. Everyone else is eating at the nearby kyuramen or gyukaku so this chinese food gem of a restaurant has nearly no wait time.
Love it. We came here with family who live locally and the food was great. I hadn't eaten claypot in a long time and was delighted to see it available. I had the spareibs and black bean claypot and the portion was sizeable. My wife liked her seafood with noodles and our kids enjoyed the dumplings (both steam and fried available) and the scallion pancakes.
