“Excellent food and a very enjoyable meal at Kung Fu Kitchen! We tried several dishes and were very happy with everything we ordered.

The wonton soup was especially good. The wontons were large, with visible shrimp in each one, and the soup was loaded with fresh vegetables. Very satisfying and flavorful.

The chive pancake was another highlight—filled with chives, egg, glass noodles, and dried shrimp. It tasted authentic and was absolutely delicious. We also enjoyed the steamed and pan-fried dumplings.

The restaurant is clean, bright, and modern. Service wasn’t the greatest, but for this type of casual, fast-paced restaurant, it was totally acceptable.

Overall, the quality and authenticity of the food really impressed me. Definitely a 5/5, and I would happily come back!“

“This is easily my new favorite in Brookline. The rice is cooked very well, with a crispy layer around the edges of the clay pot that’s lightly browned and crunchy which is exactly what you want to look for in clay pot rice. Sue recommended mixing the beef brisket with Chinese sausage into the rice, and it was amazing. The vibe is cozy and casual, great for a relaxed dinner, and the prices are a genuinely great value for the quality and portion size. This place has been open about a year now and deserves way more attention, highly recommend!“

“Food was decent, but the value just wasn’t there for us. Two people ordered a half-and-half broth, one beef & lamb combo, tripe, crispy pork, fried rice, and sauce bar — no drinks, seafood, or dessert. The total came to about $110 after tax and tip.

We didn’t order much at all, and for hot pot we basically only had two plates of food to cook, so $55 per person felt pretty expensive for what we got. Nothing was particularly bad, but at this price point I expected either larger portions or a more memorable experience. There are quite a few hot pot options around Boston where $50+ per person goes a lot further.“

“The restaurant is mix of bar seatings and regular seating. Interior is clean and neat. Server is very welcoming and friendly. I ordered their lamb skewer and Lanzhou beef noodle. The beef was juicy and tender. Noodle was soft and al dente. Not easily get soggy. Broth was hearty and rich. Lamb skewers aren’t gamey. Definitely a nice comforting dishes they serve here. Will definitely come back!!!“

“It was our first time here. Sushi was great. Staff was also very pleasant. The restaurant itself was a very nice environment nice seating and lighting. The presentation of the sushi was amazing! It came in a beautifully designed boat steaming with dried ice and beautiful decorations! They had a pretty decent size menu. Absolutely going back.“

“This place has fantastic congee and rice rolls. There is a wide variety of conge flavors that are super tasty and satisfying. From beef and egg to pork and liver, there’s tons of great options for you to choose from. And you get lots of incredible rice rolls and Chinese donuts as a side. The rice rolls come in huge portions and are a great pairing with your congee.
Overall, this is a great place to eat. It has a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere so I highly recommend it! The staff here are super friendly and do a great job being kind and helpful. Enjoy!“

“Perhaps biased since I’m coming from a Dongbei/Northeastern Chinese family, but this place has all of our favorites! Excellent food that’s a nice break from the traditionally sichuan cuisine in the area. Can’t wait to come back.“

“I didn't care for my meal (General Tsao's chicken) it was overcooked and kinda meh. But my partner loved her meal (veggie lo-mein and chicken fingers) The service was excellent, the atmosphere was great for enjoying a quick dinner after wrapping up errands. I'd go again and give it another shot.“

“We’ve been going to this Chinese food place for years. The reason is it’s higher quality that most other places around the food is quick to come out and the service is always great. They have a bathroom and it is accessible. The parking lot is huge and I’ve never seen it full so you have plenty of places to park you can enter through two roads. So it’s a quick In-N-Out. I’ve gotta say in all the years going there. I don’t think they’ve ever messed up my order although funny story back in the day when we went there years ago to eat inside which we used to do a lot I was cut off not from drinking alcohol but from drinking soda it’s a funny story that we still remember till this day. The guy was worried about my health and said three sodas is too much for you even back then when it was by the can and I was paying for each individual drink, but even eating inside is nice. They’ve always been very nice and accommodating.“

“The food was delicious! 🍜 we ordered some noodles and buns! I took my daughter there and we had a wonderful time here! The food 🍲 smells amazing 🤩 the only trouble was the place was a little small, only two tables but other than that, everything was perfect 👌 and awesome 👏. My favorite food is the Taro potato buns! Soooo tasty 🤤 I would have given this place a 10 if I could!“
