Great food and service. Definitely authentic food. The medium spicy is a little spicier than other places, so do be aware. The kungpao chicken was a great dish, a little saltier than normal. The pork soup and soup dumplings were on point. Def a good place to try.
The old Sichuan restaurant has been recommended by friends but I only went there a few days ago because I always thought that the spicy dishes were all the same, but I didn’t expect this restaurant to have surprises. The experience and taste were very good. I will take my friends to go there next time. The restaurant is small and exquisite, clean and tidy, and the service is good. The dish in the last picture is particularly delicious?

Westlake soup was surprisingly good in texture & taste with aromatic herbs. Cumin lamb skewers was disappointing: many of the chunks were just gloppy fat. Not fatty meat but pure fat. Ugh. Server was unfriendly to begin with but later warmed up. Not as attentive as expected given there were only 3 other tables occupied mid afternoon.
