Very good Sichuan/Chengdu style spicy dishes. Very well prepared. Service was excellent. They have non-spicey dishes too. Friendly people.

The portions were super huge . We ordered multiple dishes to try all flavors and were super impressed. Definitely recommend of you are in the area. There was a fried fish appetizer Sichuan style that was a clear winner 🏆. Free parking lot was added bonus
Some of the best food around very authentic wonderful food. You can tell they take time in crafting the food they make. Their Peking Duck and ravioli's are fantastic and a must if you visit. We also love their Szechuan green beans and kung pao chicken. Love their food and look forward to returning soon.

The stir-fried chicken with black bean sauce, green bell pepper, and onion delivers full flavor, though the chicken can be a bit salty. The Beef Chow Fan is praised for its best smoky flavor in years. Although the hot and sour soup may be flavorless, the restaurant maintains a small, exquisite, and clean setting, with decent table settings and fast service. The place has a decent size parking lot and is conveniently located close to Route 9 right outside of Newton Center. The lunch specials are scrumptious, budget-friendly, and a favorite among customers. For those craving something peppery, Sichuan Gourmet House is definitely one of the best places to grab a bite.
