One of my favorite spots for Sichuan food in the Boston area. The portions are generous and the flavors are always on point.
Came here during a busy weekend and the food was still consistently good. Service was friendly as well.

Based on the reviews, Mountain House is the best Sichuan Chinese restaurant in town. The flavors and dishes are authentic, and every single dish is a treat and an experience. The food is very delicious and the price is way under what is expected for the quality. The chicken on the assorted appetizer was absurdly juicy, and everything is spice-adjustable. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable, and the service is great, fantastic, smooth, and efficient. The restaurant is very accommodating with reservations for large groups, even for 18 people. The host was very friendly and professional, making a great first impression. The spice level is just right, not too overwhelming. The only downside is that the music can be a bit too loud, making it slightly hard to have a conversation. Overall, it is one of the best restaurants and compares to the food in China.
