“Excellent food and a very enjoyable meal at Kung Fu Kitchen! We tried several dishes and were very happy with everything we ordered.

The wonton soup was especially good. The wontons were large, with visible shrimp in each one, and the soup was loaded with fresh vegetables. Very satisfying and flavorful.

The chive pancake was another highlight—filled with chives, egg, glass noodles, and dried shrimp. It tasted authentic and was absolutely delicious. We also enjoyed the steamed and pan-fried dumplings.

The restaurant is clean, bright, and modern. Service wasn’t the greatest, but for this type of casual, fast-paced restaurant, it was totally acceptable.

Overall, the quality and authenticity of the food really impressed me. Definitely a 5/5, and I would happily come back!“

“We have a new office in Boston. So periodically I drive down from our main office to the Boston location and every time I do, I have resolved to try a new restaurant. This was today’s choice and it was SPECTACULAR! My server was fantastic. The food came out quickly and was insanely good. I didn’t know how big my stir-fried rice cake bowl would be so I ordered the sweet and sour pork loin to go with it. But the rice cake bowl was huge and tasted incredible. Lots of heat, lots of fresh prepared veggies and meat. 10/10 would recommend that dish. The pork tenderloin I tried and 10/10 would recommend it as well. The location is a bit small and that is literally the only nit I can pick. If you’re in this area, get some take out or eat in , you won’t regret it!!“

“I came here with a group of 6 so we got to try a good number of dishes.

My favorites were the hot and sour soup (good flavor, lots of tasty fillings, and the small size could easily feed all of us), the beef chow fun (great wok hei and textures, though the beef seemed potentially undercooked), and the spicy dry fried calamari (perfectly crispy and chewy and savory and spicy).

The seafood with crispy noodles was also good. I thought most of the seafood I tried was good, but the scallops were not that great as they felt overcooked. I also didn't like that the sizzling fish had skin on it, but that's just a me thing.

Overall it's a good option for a big group, and I'd come back for the three items I enjoyed the most -- they were executed well.“

“Pleasantly surprised! The place was actually quite busy on a Friday afternoon. First caveat.. if you do not like lamb do not go here. There was a distinct lamb smell in the air because...lamb is really their specialty! We tried a few things.. beef and lamb, and by far the lamb was better. The noodles were the highlight, great texture and unlimited length! My comment makes it kind of funny that the noodles were harder to eat in my stir fry because it was one big noodle. The rice is cooked very well, with a crispy layer around the edges of the clay pot that’s lightly browned and crunchy which is exactly what you want to look for in clay pot rice. Sue recommended mixing the beef brisket with Chinese sausage into the rice, and it was amazing. The vibe is cozy and casual, great for a relaxed dinner, and the prices are a genuinely great value for the quality and portion size. “We had a great meal at Fuchun Ju and would definitely recommend it if you’re looking for excellent Chinese food in Boston.

We tried several varieties of soup dumplings, the scallion pancakes, and the Peking duck. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. The standout for us was the scallion pancakes—they were wonderfully flaky, crisp on the outside, and absolutely delicious. The Peking duck was also excellent, and we really enjoyed the smaller soup dumplings.

The only dish that wasn’t a favorite was the large pork and crab soup dumpling. It was very well made, but the crab flavor was stronger than we expected and overpowered the pork for our taste. If you enjoy a pronounced crab flavor, you may love it.

One tip: the large soup dumplings take about 25 minutes to prepare, so be sure to order them as soon as you sit down if you plan to try them.

The restaurant is located in a nice area that’s easy to find, and the service was friendly and attentive throughout our meal. Overall, we had a very enjoyable dining experience and would happily return to try more of the menu.“

🐮 Found a new hot pot favorite in Boston Chinatown!
I was actually drawn in by the adorable cow outside Liu Yi Shou 🐮 and was pleasantly surprised to find that they now have lots of new dishes beyond the familiar AYCE hot pot lineup!

✨ A5 Wagyu
The A5 Wagyu is sliced incredibly thin, almost translucent between your chopsticks. Once it hits the boiling broth, the beautiful marbling slowly tightens up as the white fat melts into the meat. After just a few seconds, the slice curls up slightly and comes out glossy and perfectly tender.

The first bite is soft and buttery, with the rich Wagyu flavor following right after. My favorite way to eat it was in the mushroom broth—the earthy umami from the broth pairs so well with the richness of the Wagyu. Once the meat picks up a little of that broth, the flavor becomes deeper and more layered.

🍄 Fresh Live Mushrooms
One of the cutest new additions! The mushrooms are served whole, still keeping their natural shape and growth form. They’re freshly cut at the table before going straight into the hot pot.

The mushroom caps slowly soak up all that flavorful broth while the stems keep a nice, slightly springy texture. When you bite into them, the juices and natural mushroom aroma come together beautifully. Especially in the mushroom broth, the flavors really complement each other without overpowering the mushrooms themselves.

🌶 Green Pepper Beef
This one is a completely different vibe from the A5 Wagyu. Thinly sliced beef with vibrant green peppers—savory and meaty at first, followed by a fresh, slightly crisp pepper flavor that makes the whole dish feel lighter and more refreshing.

🥥 Fresh Coconut Chicken Broth
This might have been my favorite surprise! They pour in a freshly opened coconut right at the table, letting the fresh coconut water become part of the broth before adding the chicken.

The broth stays clear and delicate, with a naturally sweet coconut aroma. The chicken is super tender and juicy, and the whole flavor is light and comforting rather than heavy. Pair it with their slightly spicy fresh soy dipping sauce and the chicken tastes even more flavorful.

Beyond the food, the warm service and overall atmosphere made the whole meal feel relaxed and enjoyable. Definitely one of those places that leaves you already thinking about what to order next time 🥹🐮“

“I recently moved to Boston for work and was on the hunt for some good fried rice, I tried several places in Quincy and they all fell short until I tried China chopsticks. It’s my new go to when getting fried rice in Quincy. The rice is flavorful and Delicious and isn’t white like some of the other places I tried. Good fried rice should never be white looking in my opinion it should have color. China chopsticks does it right, staff is super friendly whenever I come In and very welcoming.“

“One of the only places near Boston that serve authentic FJ (Fuzhounese) food. Service is slow as there’s one boss lady doing everything from cooking to cleaning so don’t come in expecting too much and be patient. My favorites here are the peanut noodles (ban mian), stir fry rice cakes (nian gao), and the wonton soup (bian rou). CASH ONLY so bring change.

Everything is priced very affordably, I believe the 3 dishes in the pic were around $20 total.“

“It’s sad that my very first time here, was the final day of AYCE. The quality of food for AYCE was higher than some places where you pay for each ingredient. The new lunch set that they are replacing AYCE with, is still a lot of food at a reasonable price.

The staff were all so nice, and accommodating of my friend’s peanut allergy. Any questions we had about the food were easily answered, and the hand pulled noodles were out of this world.

Meat-wise I would recommend spicy beef to anyone who likes normal beef dipped in spicy broth, because the marinated beef kept its flavor in the non spicy broth as well.

You could also be a vegetarian and be very happy here with the options. The fried bean curd was very nice.
