“I was at Thayer Academy with a sports team. Someone told me about this place. From where my bus was parked. It was a half mile walk. Let me tell you well worth the walk. Food was excellent, staff were great and very friendly. He'll I would walk even longer for this pizza ?. You have to try it. If you're in Braintree 5 stars all the way.”
“100% RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!!I LOVE BANH MI!!!!! It was almost closing, but the employees there were soo nice to make me a sandwich. At first I bought one and finished it in store. But it was so delicious that I HAD to get another to-go!!!!!!!It’s also in a great location! Being within a mall allows for you to shop while enjoying the best sandwich in the world (source: me)”
“I went to this place twice and was able to try the medium, hot, extra hot, and reaper levels of spice. I love the taste of the chicken (ordered the sliders) and the fries are great as well. Service is good, very fast after ordering. I will say the Reaper lives up to it's reputation. After eating the extra hot which was the just right level of spice for me, I thought I could handle the Reaper. After a couple bites I knew this was bigger jump from the extra hot than I thought it would be. Ended up finishing it but was sweating and a little dizzy. Had to run to the Starbucks next door to order a latte to cool myself down. I like the challenge though may try again sometime :)”
“? On Wednesday evening, I ventured to Cap’t Loui in Braintree with my brother and his girlfriend, eager to explore the buzz surrounding this chain restaurant. Despite not being a fervent seafood enthusiast—despite hailing from New England—I approached the experience with an open mind.? Our evening kicked off with their cocktail pouch drinks, an unexpected delight that masked their potency dangerously well. Definitely a must-try! 8/10. Now, onto the pièce de résistance—the seafood boil! The seafood boil has endless options from lobster, clams, mussels, shrimp, calamari etc. We got the shrimp and snow crab, drenched in their signature Capt Loui sauce. The customizable experience was a true delight! We also opted for corn and potatoes as our sides and made everything medium spice level (although you could go higher!) It’s messy, it’s interactive, but oh-so-worth it for the explosion of flavors! 8/10. Remember your bib and gloves to keep the sauce at bay!? As a delightful diversion, we sampled their garlic noodles—oozing with garlic and cheese—perfect for those seeking an alternative to seafood. 8/10.? And let’s not forget the crispy fried fish and chips basket, where each bite was a symphony of flavors, especially when paired with their Cajun tartar sauce. A solid 8/10.? Wrapping up our culinary journey, we indulged in the funnel cake fries with ice cream, a divine and shareable finale to our meal. 8/10.? In summary, Cap’t Loui offers a unique dining adventure even for those not fully immersed in the seafood scene. With locations in Braintree and Stoneham, it’s an experience worth embarking on.Food: 8/10 Affordability: 7/10 Ambiance: 8/10”
“My family and I go here all the time and have never had a bad experience. All the waitress are really nice and personable. The prices are really great and the food is perfect! Highly recommend their turkey club or chocolate chip pancakes!”

“Outstanding service and superb Pho. Both the staff and the owner were incredibly welcoming. As a family of three, we felt highly appreciated during our first dinner visit to the restaurant. Despite living a bit far and having numerous options nearby, we will definitely re-visit.”
“The food is good. I've been here twice so far. It's a little small and the last time we were there they were having a private party in the restaurant. So it was very crowded. They are kid friendly, but I dont recommend taking children under the age of 4. It's too crowded and they don't have a changing table in the bathroom which was difficult when I had to change my daughter. I got the chicken saltimboca, which I thought was very good. My fiance got the special which was vinegar peppers pork chop. The pork was undercooked and they give you 2 slices of peppers. They would have cooked it more but it was so busy he didn't ask so he didn't eat it. If he had sent it back to be cooked more he would have enjoyed it. The waitress was so nice! They have a lot of patience! This place is perfect for a couple or a group of adults but I would leave the little ones at home (with a babysitter, obviously). The only downside is the parking. They do have a very small lot but again, when they're busy, it's hard to find parking. Even street parking.Kid-friendliness: Like I mentioned in my review. They do accommodate kids. But there is no changing station in the bathrooms and it's very crowded. You're close to the tables around you, which makes it hard to get through the restaurant carrying a toddler and a diaper bag without accidentally bumping someone.”
“Absolutely wonderful fish market and food service with that. Had great fish and chips, wonderful fish chowder, perfect coleslaw to go with it. It. Great and hard-working staff. Very positive experience.”

“Cool - more stoner metal than headbanger on a recent visit (on 4/20, so that tracks). All positive: sharp aesthetic; friendly, knowledgeable staff; plenty of parking and room for special events; food trucks; to-go options and merch; and the OG beer hearse. Similar enough to the newer Boston location that you can pick whichever is convenient, if not going for an event.”

“Always a pleasant experience with the Konditor staff. This is my go to place for birthday cakes.I visited to grab double chocolate cake and a few pastries. Nicole was amazing and patient with my pastry choices because it’s wicked hard not to get ALL of the mini cakes.Overall, loved the staff, the pastries, and the cakes!”
“Excellent place to bring family and friends. Very friendly people and love their customers. Serves, good quality and clean food. Offers coupons to save money and feels good. Environment inside is ambiance and home feel type. I enjoy taste each time I go there.”
“I'm from California and was looking for a Sushi restaurante, and found this place, it's delicious and service was fast, the atmosphere was relaxing now I want to book a trip to Japan.Sake Japan ?”
“Pleasantly surprised! We came here on a Saturday for lunch and ordered plenty of dishes which we all enjoyed. We tried the string beans, spicy fish filets, Shanghai noodles, fried rice and smoked duck. The Shanghai noodles were more of a crispy chow mein than the thicker noodle I was expecting, but it was still yummy! Service was nice and attentive as well. Unassuming on the outside, but great taste and big portions.”
“Everything is awesome. Everything.Second review. I used to really love this place. Like I LOVED IT. I still do. It's still the best! Yanni, Israel, Freddy, Alfredo, Brenda, and Nayeli are the best!Kid-friendliness: Kids menu”
“5 stars all the way for this hidden gem! The sushi here is not just food, it's art. Every roll is a masterpiece, bursting with fresh ingredients and unique flavors. But what really sets this place apart is the hospitality. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and taken care of. If you're craving amazing sushi and a memorable dining experience, look no further. This place is a true gem!”
“Simplement DÉLICIEUX! Calzone parfait!! Sauce maison EXCELLENTE! WOW Nous sommes quebecois et ils nous ont dit Merci beaucoup!!? belle ambiance et chaleureux! Très impliqué et à l’écoute à recommender à tout le monde!! Un must a BOSTON!!!”
“Finally gave Kristins a try. It's quite a popular breakfast spot, so expect a wait, especially on weekends. When we visited, we had to wait around 20 minutes, but our anticipation made it bearable. The space is cozy but limited, yet the staff are welcoming and diligently ensure smooth service. The portions are generous—I couldn't even finish my meal, guaranteeing you'll leave satisfied. What sets it apart are the numerous specials, featuring an extensive array of pancakes, omelettes, drinks, and more. Choosing just one is a delightful challenge! Definitely a must-visit destination.”

“Fabulous Brunch. Excellent clam chowder to start. Gluten free rolls available. Had Scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, and cheddar biscuit. Husband with Celiac had Halibut with tomatoes and artichoke hearts. Outstanding service from Brian and other staff. Very busy with large groups but we still had attentive service. Will be back. Yummy Bloody Mary.”
“The guy in charge of the games (malfunction) was very sarcastic and rude. Guy with a beard, chubby. I wanted to tell him off so bad but I was with my grandkids so I stopped myself. Next time I won't.”
“Happy to report this place is operating as incredibly as it was under the previous ownership. A 4 member band was playing tonight and they did an incredible job, kudos to that choice in entertainment. might suggest the back room in a corner for more flexibility though. The staff, wow, so attentive and made you really feel like they were there to make sure you had the best experience possible. Special Kudos to Brenna, she ensured her guests were taken care of and made us feel like we we're family here. A rare find that will absolutly not only encourage me to come back, but to bring friends. Marias Trattoria staff, thanks for an incredible experience. Absolutely will recommend to friends and family.”
“I can’t even explain how good the pizza was . I’m talking water dripping . They got me wanting pizza everyday. Wash it down with a mt.dew and a smoke . OMG ?????”
“Really loved this establishment. The service was outstanding. One of my recommendations is the Steak and Cheese Egg Roll Appetizer. The quantity of food was perfect. I would definitely recommend this establishment because I will be going back.”
“Second visit to this restaurant on my business trips to Boston. You can't go wrong with this place. The atmosphere is relaxed, but elegant. Each dish I have had has been phenomenal with even more phenomenal service. Price's are fair but are what some would consider high. If you're in the area, would highly recommend. Ask for Brian J as your server. He's been my server both times and is so professional, personal, and offers wonderful suggestions!”
“Randomly decided to stop in for lunch one day, and glad we did!Food: The big pretzel was great - Its huge and great for sharing. The Country Chicken Pot Pie and burgers are good and I would recommend.Parking- plenty of parking in the lot.Atmosphere - very Irish pub feels. We sat inside because its winter but would be interested to try their outdoor seating in the summer. Service was fair and we would come back again”
“Family owned local businesses that puts many Italian restaurants to shame from the moment you walk in. Fresh pasta and superb choices of seafood, chicken and beef . Great atmosphere and a nice wine selection- save room for desert. I've eaten here often while on business and this trip brought my wife; she did not to leave. Get there early - this is a local gem !”
“We've been going here about once weekly for years. The food and drink is good, but it's more about the people working there. There is one server that stands out for us - Jillian. Fun fact, she's never been our server. We typically eat at the bar. Although her responsibility is to wait tables, she always has a friendly hello for us when passing by. She welcomes most guests by name, and is equally kind and considerate to her co-workers. She isn't sitting at the back of the bar gossiping an joking around - she seems focused on her work and providing excellent customer service. My career has been specialized in talent management and development for years and if the leadership team/family ownership are wise, they will not only retain her but promote her in order to provide a clear example of the kind of service they need to maintain.”
“My new favorite takeout Chinese spot in Braintree. I don't expect a lot from American Chinese food- I need it to satisfy a craving. The General Gaos was perfectly done. Scallion pancakes were not burnt wafers. Crab Rangoons had decent amount of filling. Finally, the hot and sour was nicely balanced.”
“This place is great to go on a nice warm day. The outside seating give you the opportunity to soak in good weather and people watch. The side of the restaurant has large windows that open up into the bar area.Food: The first time I can here we were just passing by and popped in for a drinks and dessert. I can highly recommend the ice cream and churros. They second time we got real food to go with our dessert. Again the dessert (this time a skillet cookie and ice cream) was also very good. I'd also recommend the Honey Mustard Chicken Salad and the steak tip sandwich.Service: Always had friendly servers. It can get very busy though, especially outside so be aware.Parking can be a bit of a task - there is a small lot immediately in front of the restaurant and a small lot to the side. This place is in the heart of Braintree on a main road so can get a bit busy. Can't wait to visit again in warm weather!”
“Fast and friendly service, and surprisingly delicious food. Obviously not an authentic pick but it definitely hits the spot for mall food court "asian". The mango chicken and bbq pork were very flavorful and fresh, and the green beans were crisp but tender. Rice wasn't bad either. Definitely not bland food at all. Honestly not the worst deal for the amount of food you get.”

“Flew into town and was looking for breakfast. Walked to it from my hotel. Food was so good! But the service and the locals is what made it for me. So personal and down to earth.”
“I tried their ice cream for the first time and it was so creamy and full of flavor! I had Eggnog flavor and it did not disappoint! I wish I got the counter help's names, they were so nice and very attentive!”
“The place is so cute. Super cozy and quaint. Would give 5/5 but the food had a weird smell that completely turned you off and couldn’t finish the food. But the customer service and atmosphere were great. Maybe we just got a bad batch?”
“Georgianna's is the best pizza in the Randolph / Braintree area, not including the popular "bar style" places. Their "Spicy Honey Pizza" (pepperoni, bacon and honey) is my favorite -- the honey crystalizes in the fridge and makes leftovers especially good. The buffalo chicken pizza is incredible as well. The subs here are also really good. Much better than the other pizza/sub shops in the area that all seem to serve the same Sysco food products... I'm pretty sure Georgianna's has a different, much better distributor for their produce.Prices are fair and the guys who work here are kind and respectful. I think the chef might be the owner -- which would explain why they aren't open on weekends.”
“This is the best cafe I've ever been to at a car dealership. I've been going there for about a year and it's always been nothing but good hot chocolate and good customer service! I don't even work at the dealership I work in the same plaza and the owner and the rest of the team has always treated me as if I was a customer in the dealership. It's super convenient too, if you are ever in the area shopping at hobby lobby or Nordstrom or stopping by to get pet food at the pet store, take a quick stop at the cafe, you sincerely won't regret it”
“Perfect small town, local pizza place! The pizza comes out, hot and ready and delicious. The buffalo chicken grinder is one of the best I’ve had in years! It all comes down to the quality of the chicken and the seasoning! They don’t just use chicken nuggets, fried, covered in buffalo sauce. Really excellent grinder!Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly because there’s not a lot of things the kids can touch and mess up. They also offer lollipops.”
“This place is absolutely amazing! The food was delicious. The atmosphere was very nice. Very comfortable. I certainly will be back. By the way, chicken marsala absolutely spectacular!”
“This is my go-to Papa Gino’s location. There is a free parking lot that is easy to turn into and out of. I always do take-out, and my order is ready on time most of the time. Sometimes the wait can be more than 30 minutes since this is a popular location. My favorite is the crispy buffalo chicken pizza with ranch, though sometimes the amount of ranch and chicken can vary depending on who makes it. I suggest creating an account to rack up rewards and to check for deals before ordering.”
“My partner and I got a large cheese pizza and small house special pizza - TASTE: 4/5 - enjoyed the sauce on the cheese pizza, and the saltiness of the pepperoni and sausage on the house special TEXTURE: 4/5 - the dough was thin and crisp, and the crust wasn't dry. I liked the crunch of the onions on the house special too PRICE: 4/5 - the total came out to ~$30 SERVING SIZE: 4/5 - small is 12", large 16", and XL 20". Our pizzas were good for dinner and we had sliced leftover for the next day SERVICE: 4/5 - we called to place our order, and our food was ready when we walked in at 4:30pm on a Thursday to pick it up ATMOSPHERE: 4/5 - Rosie's was empty when we arrived, but the seating area looks recently renovated w more modern paint and furniture PARKING: 5/5 - plenty of parking in the lot attached”
“We get takeout from them often. There Brisket, Sausage, Potato Salad and Corn bread are our favorites and get these items in every order. They have excellent food. The one thing we find very irritating is they have never gotten an order right. They are very nice people, but they don't check the order to make sure you got everything that you paid for. We had takeout last night and they forgot to put in the potato salad, but at least we know now to really check BEFORE we go home.”
“This is our Friday spot! We love the staff, the food and the atmosphere. We watch all our favorite sports on the TVs and play a few board games while waiting for our food. We love the food. They always have new specials. They have my favorite cut of fries! Always a hit here.Kid-friendliness: We go earlier in the night and love bringing our 5 year old. We come every Friday. We play the board games and golf arcade game.”
“The gentleman that takes the phone orders at the desk is extremely nice every time I order pork fried rice and extra deck sauce I go in I pay for it and he says I bring it to your car and it's great service and great fresh ”
“Dropped By Because my buddy said they had the best Steak and Cheese sub in the South Shore. Let me tell you, he was not lying and the sub was delicious! The service was good aswell!”
“Simplement DÉLICIEUX! Calzone parfait!! Sauce maison EXCELLENTE! WOW Nous sommes quebecois et ils nous ont dit Merci beaucoup!!? belle ambiance et chaleureux! Très impliqué et à l’écoute à recommender à tout le monde!! Un must a BOSTON!!!”

Drive-Thru Restaurants
“Plenty of parking, right across the street from Subaru, and adjacent to Genesis. The food is good. Place is kinda busy, especially with the drive through. They forgot the bacon on our avocado toasts, but gave us another with bacon to make up for it. Very nice gesture, definitely going that extra mile, pleases customers!!!”
“Me my gf and our friend came here for lunch. I had a chocolate glazed donut and a medium ice coffee. My gf had a medium ice coffee with a bagel and our friend had a bagel with cream cheese. A small hot chocolate. The food was good and the floors were clean. The parking lot is small with no drive thru. It has handicap parking and handicap accessible entrance.”
“This burger King is great! The staff were all bubbly and in a good mood. Not like the usual "i hate my job" vibe you get almost everywhere else. Food was done quickly and tasted great! Only con worth mentioning would be that I noticed multiple dirty tables but other than that... PerfectParking: Right off the main road, plenty of spaces.Kid-friendliness: Pre assembled bk crowns for kids everywhere.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramps to get in and out, handicapped bathrooms”
“10 stars for Renee. She was very friendly and very patience. Provided excellent customer service. Please keep it up the good work.Kid-friendliness: Renee was very friendly with the kids. Very soft talker and showed lot of patience when kids ask the questions.”
“The place is so cute. Super cozy and quaint. Would give 5/5 but the food had a weird smell that completely turned you off and couldn’t finish the food. But the customer service and atmosphere were great. Maybe we just got a bad batch?”

Cheap Eats
“Food is very good, priced fairly, packaged well. The owners are kind and decent people. Open late, which is great; I can choose a healthier option than typical fast food if I’m hungry at a late hour. Thankful to find this place!”
“Richardi's is so much more than your typical sub shop. It's like walking into someone's home. You will be immediately given a warm and friendly greeting. Your order will be patiently tailored to your preference. Finally, you will receive a generous portion of fresh, delicious authentic food items. I am so glad someone recommended Richardi's to me so I'm glad to pass the word along.”
“It’s located in South Shore’s Food Court so the atmosphere is pretty much always going to be a three… ??? But the food is worth it!!! I had a Red Sox Salmon Roll which was 10 pcs of crispy salmon & crab meat with a mild spicy sauce… I’ll be back for more on my next visitVegetarian options: They have 5 different Vegetarian Plates.Parking: Plenty of mall parking depending on what time of year you go.Kid-friendliness: Located in the Mall Food Court that has a play area.Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of WC accessibility due to being within the mall.”
“Hands down I feel the best Italian style pizza locally. One of the few left that offer a great large pizza special. Never had a bad pizza from here. I also tried the steak and cheese sub good steak but was disappointed in the amount of steak in the sub, there were a lot of bites that just contained bread ? ? will always be my goto for pizza but not a fan of the other menu items”
“I have eaten there several times for breakfast. Scratch made right in front of you delicious items Omelettes, Sandwiches etc. Huge portions, great prices...Pristine cleanness. Great find.”
“Tried this Ben & Jerry’s for the first time on Free Cone Day. The line looked intimidating (though not as bad as the Boston locations) but moved pretty quickly; the total wait time was 10-15 minutes from the end of the sidewalk. The workers were friendly and efficient. I tried the Coconut Seven Layer Bar and also got to taste my friend’s Strawberry Cheesecake. I liked the texture and taste of the Strawberry Cheesecake more. The coconut in the other one was not strong enough (not bad overall, but I wouldn’t get it again). I really wanted to try the mango as well but alas next time. Don’t know if the waffle cones are made in-house, but they tasted average. This branch is located in a plaza with a bunch of other stores, so there is a free parking lot, but it is a bit of a nightmare to get into and out of when crowded. There are tables outside for you to sit, or you can sit on the stairs to the side, as a lot of people were doing (just be mindful as to not block the way).”
“It is the spot for my buddies and I on weekends, especially to watch the golf. Around this area, this is the best place to catch a game with great food and drinks that is actually reasonably priced for once! $3.75 Coors drafts and make sure to start off with the steak and cheese egg rolls; show a little love to the ketchup and you’re set.”
“If you're in Braintree and need a pick-me-up, this is the spot! They rotate specials, food and drink, and all the various coffee flavors are delicious. It's got a cozy vibe with comfy couches and good music – perfect for relaxing. The staff is super friendly, and the coffee-themed decorations are perfect. It's my go-to weekend treat, sometimes I even visit twice.”
“I got the pretzel Nuggets bucket and I was so pleased with the amount I got. There’s so many nuggets in that thing. The service is always very fast and overall it’s a great place for ”
“Omg! They are located in the food court of the south shore mall but their pizza is the best! The price for a large pizza is great and every time I go, I eat there!! Great service too:)”
“The subs at this place are above average and the service is quick. I really enjoy the chicken Gouda sub and the fact that they use boars head meats on their subs.”
“Nice friendly neighborhood kinda bar next to Planet Fitness. Food is good, beer is cold, and the service is excellent. No complaints. Looking forward to my next visit.”
“This is the 3rd time I stop by Boston Food Shop and deli, and I have to admit every time I am there, I get more impressed of the service and positive attitude of workers. The staff has always been friendly and nice. The sandwiches and salad quality and selection are absolutely amazing. If you are looking for a morning wake up coffee or a bite to eat for lunch or dinner, then you are at the right place. Keep in mind the wide variety of grocery and cold drinks. Also, do not forget about the ATM and bitcoin machines inside. Thank you for excellent service.”

“Food is very good, priced fairly, packaged well. The owners are kind and decent people. Open late, which is great; I can choose a healthier option than typical fast food if I’m hungry at a late hour. Thankful to find this place!”
“I can’t even explain how good the pizza was . I’m talking water dripping . They got me wanting pizza everyday. Wash it down with a mt.dew and a smoke . OMG ?????”
“Really loved this establishment. The service was outstanding. One of my recommendations is the Steak and Cheese Egg Roll Appetizer. The quantity of food was perfect. I would definitely recommend this establishment because I will be going back.”

“Ordered a couple of appetizers: Banh mi tartine and chicken wings. Entrees: Vegetarian Japchae, Lollipop Lamb Chops, Miso Glazed Salmon. Banh mi was sweet, but good. Favorite entree, in my opinion, was the Japchae. Flan for dessert.”
“If you are looking for authentic, homemade, deliciously tasty and easy meals, look no further! From your everyday quick dinner pickup, to your fully encompassing holiday dinner with all the meat and sides ready to go - Fasanos Marketplace is your go to!! Cannot say enough good things about the food and the family that runs this small business. Have been enjoying their food for around 7 years but they have been in business running a catering company for many years before recently opening up their storefront in Braintree. Now instead of only being able to enjoy their food for catered events, you can enjoy their amazing food every single day! Regular weekday dinners are easy to grab food to heat up for the night. And They make the holidays so easy, with everything ready with simple instructions to just heat up. No more holiday stress or fuss around cooking! Sooo worth it and highly recommend to all. Absolutely DELICIOUS! And everyone is so great at marketplace! Keep up the great work!”

“We had a great experience! Coming all the way from Australia the TGIFridays in America is so much better! Our waitress Robin was super helpful and accomodating. She had made it super easy with our kids and was very patient with us! Would definitely recommend and will be back!Kid-friendliness: Our two babies under 2 had a great time and lived the food!”
“Just has a good vibe! Food was really good - burgers and fries. House margarita has small refill bottle.Dietary restrictions: No problem getting no bun. Yeast, egg &gluten issues.”
“I've been going there for a few years know, I always get the same dish .taco Shell salad w/ chx , always great, fesh and crunchy. One of my favorite places”
“We like the hot pot and have been going for years but prices have been increasing and noq gotten too high for us. We have seen many gradual cutbacks over time too.”

“Great place for a Cesar southwestern salad . Fresh crispy and well made chocolate croissants at delicious as well as the other pastries. I go there specifically for the avocado chicken sandwich.. I highly recommend this place it's a little pricey but it's really delicious. Thank you...Wheelchair accessibility: Yes”
“Went there to get my parents some lemon cake. They loved it. I also got a piece for me and my wife, and I must agree. I also had the breakfast pizza, which was really good. It was a little expensive, but you get what you pay for, so a nice little treat now and then.”
