“Ugh best coffee and banh mi in town but man I hate how cheap these Vietnamese workers act as if we're in Vietnam. So much aggression when requesting for extra butter in the banh mi. I've been a customer here for 20 years and it's always been like this that's why I don't come a lot. Like charge me for it or put less meat on. Don't tell me that it's enough if I say add more then just do it for gods sake. I even had a friend ask for more butter and the lady said it would make her fat. Ordered on uber eats where you can pay an extra 50cents for more butter and still had a dry ass banh mi. Stop acting so goddamn cheap”

“Great little hole in the wall with some of the best bahn mi in the area. There’s way more filling than other places and they’re packed with more flavor. The pickled veggies in the sandwiches also cut through the richness really well. Pair it with the salty lemonade or fresh sugar cane juice!”

“Solid ice cream shop. It is family owned and sauces and ice cream flavors are made there too. You can sample ice cream flavors before deciding on your order. Recently bought banana lazy bar and it was delicious. Who knew banana flavored ice cream can be decadent and tasty. It doesn't have any bitter artificial aftertaste. The crumble outside wasn't crazy sweet and had a lovely texture.”

“Place was rocking on a Saturday afternoon after a short renovation and reopening. Metal music, dogs, and hazy IPAs. A bit of an outdated concept at this point but it still seems to be working for them. On the pricey side but came for the lagers and was not disappointed. Both their Helles and Czech Dark were quality and quite good. Would drink the Helles (Logic Gate) regularly if I were local. Good taproom vibes and a few good eats available.”

“Excellent all around. The salad was a bit more ordinary, but the kale salad was really nice with a mix of flavors and hearty greens. The jerk chicken was moist and tender, and nicely seasoned. The chipotle chicken might even be better! Small flavorful tender bits all around. The mac and cheese was a bit lacking - with there was more cheese flavor to go around. The beans and rice was delicious. The nicest might have been the plantains; they were really not too sugary, but had a nice sheen on the outside and cooked beautifully. So good!”

“First off there is more than ample parking and the building is in a very accessible location. Once you step into the restaurant you get very cool, hip, cultural vibes. The bar is beautiful and the drinks are beyond amazing. I had a prickly pear margarita that was what I could only describe as foreplay in my mouth. Tease of sweetness and sultry all at once. The menu is extensive with something for everyone. Definitely top quality ingredients used with exceptional flavors and great presentation. The service was top notch. This place runs like a well oiled machine. Definitely recommend and will be coming back often.”

I would like to recognize Donnie the bartender who assisted me with info about Wahlburger owned restaurant and was very professional. Unfortunately I could not make a Tuesday Night dinner event Donnie made me aware of but the friendliness was on point. I heard of this restaurant watching Wahlburgers and wanted to see what the restaurant was about. Met expectations. Hopefully I could meet Paul next time I'm in town. “I was at Thayer Academy with a sports team. Someone told me about this place. From where my bus was parked. It was a half mile walk. Let me tell you well worth the walk.
