Sushi was fresh and delicious! I got the Wild Fire and the salmon toro which were all priced reasonably. Staff was friendly and accommodating!
I heard so many positive things about this place. The restaurant is small (for about 15-20ppl capacity). The sushi bar is across the entrance with loads of fresh ingredients. The restaurant was busy when i came but i got seated within 5 mins. Server was nice and friendly. Food came out within 10mins. I ordered their snow crab roll, eel avocado roll, and white tiger roll. I went to Umai recently specifically because of all the great reviews. It did not disappoint! The waiter was very kind and the sushi was delicious. A return trip will be needed to try more of their selections!

Umai Braintree is a small restaurant with a capacity for about 15-20 people. The sushi bar is across the entrance with loads of fresh ingredients. The restaurant can be busy, but seating can be quick, within 5 mins. The server is nice and friendly, and food can come out within 10mins. The sushi is delicious, and the food and experience are really authentic. A selection of maki includes Tornado, Crispy Mango, and Super Yellowtail. The mango is just right and really stood out. The snow crab roll is real, and the flavor is perfectly balanced with the other ingredients. The white tiger roll sauce is heavy and creamy, a bit on the sweet side but not bad. The eel sauce on the eel avocado roll is rich and umami. The crispy salmon is loved. The takoyaki was not enjoyed, but that is the only thing not enjoyed of the 3 sushi and 3 apps ordered. The house salad is big with real green lettuce and other ingredients, no iceberg, and the dressing is housemade and very flavorful. The freshness of everything is thrilling. The restaurant is a hidden gem, better than any other sushi restaurant in the area, and highly recommended. A return trip will be needed to try more of their selections.
