“Discovery: My family was visiting in town near the mall so I took them for a shopping day and lunch in the South Shore Plaza Mall. When we entered the mall we heard the drums playing and followed them to see the opening (relocation) ceremony Lion Dance for Lumi. While there I saw a friend who absolutely recommended we try it (He was there eating with his family of 4). Food: After shopping my parents and I dropped in and got our first ever Banh Mi (Vietnamese Sandwiches). I tell you these sandwiches (we got the grilled beef) were incredible! They were filled with fresh veggies and bursting with flavor. We also tried the Vietnamese eggs rolls which were good. Restaurant style- It is a small restaurant on the main floor of the mall. It has seating and very cute interior design (it is open to the mall corridor.) It also has it's own bathroom - which is really nice in a mall setting. You order by walking up to the counter and you pick your food up from the counter when they call your number (No table service). Food comes out quick. Depending on the time of day it can get quite a crowd. Highly Recommend if you love a really amazingly fresh sandwich! I will absolutely go back. I already sent friends who loved it too!“

“My friends and I had a wonderful lunch at Pho 89 in Randolph, MA the past few days ago. We all enjoyed and appreciated the great services from Huy Huynh, server. He is not only doing his job very well; but also very pleasant and professional. This is one of the reasons that we always go back to Pho 89.“

“What a great place to eat! The staff is attentive and always with a smile, ready to answer your questions if you are not familiar with this kind of menu. There are no wrong choices, but the menu is big enough for all kinds of tastes. Portions are great so, it's not always easy to leave room for dessert or one of the tasty drinks and milkshakes. It's a place I will return every time I'm in the neighborhood.“

“My wife and I absolutely love coming to Pho Le. The food and service here are consistently excellent. Every time we visit, we order the grilled fish with rice wrappers and fresh mint vegetables — it’s become our go-to dish, and it never disappoints. The flavors are fresh, vibrant, and perfectly balanced. The staff is always friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. Whether it's a casual dinner or a special night out, Pho Le delivers on all fronts. Highly recommend!“

“Gao Vietnamese Kitchen has won my heart over or should I say my stomach..haha If you love Vietnamese food then Gao is a must-visit gem with its authentic and unique cuisine that truly impresses on every level. Each dish we savored at this cute and cozy Dorchester restaurant was a culinary treat and delight, hitting all the right spots, from the lip-smacking banh coun to the addictive chicken and banana blossom salad, every bite was a journey of flavors. The free ice tea added a touch of authenticity to the dining experience as if I were back in Vietnam. The vegetarian pho and fresh spring rolls were exceptional, showcasing the diverse offerings on their extensive menu that’s priced right for the large portions. Moreover, the warm and diligent staff elevated our dining experience, ensuring every detail was perfect. The owner Sy Le was the nicest guy, he really cares about his customers and his employees and it shows! Gao Vietnamese Kitchen is a standout among Vietnamese restaurants, capturing both heart and stomach with its delicious food and exceptional service.“

“There are a lot of Vietnamese restaurants in the Fields Corner section of Boston, affectionately known as Little Saigon. I've had good meals and not so good meals at many of them, but Pho Que has never disappointed. The food is fresh, the service is quick and friendly, and it's never overcrowded. I've take many, many friends there an everyone has enjoyed their meals. I'm vegetarian but they have a great vegetable pho among many other vegetarian options. But friends who are carnivores have always had great things to say about their food. The prices are reasonable as well. Highly recommend.“

“I love how this place has both Thai and Vietnamese food, it’s such a good combo. Everything tasted really fresh and absolutely delicious. The lychee smoothie with popping boba was so refreshing. I’d definitely recommend trying it if you’re in the area. Added to one of my favorite spots!“

“I have been going here on occasion for years and realized I never left a review. Bread, pate, and everything is always fresh. The food and service quality have remained consistent over the year. Whenever I want banh mi and I am in the North Quincy / Wollaston area, this has always been my go to spot. It's also an easy, transit accessible spot, just a few minutes walk from North Quincy Red Line station and the nearby bus stop for the 210 Bus.“

“Phinista is my goat it has yet to (severely) disappoint!! Great study spot if you're willing to wait for a table (usually doesn't take me longer than 10-15 mins). Of their matchas, my favorite is their pandan, but their ube and strawberry are good too. I like their pastries, though their cookies are a bit dry. Highly recommend their bowls if you want actual food; they give big portions and everything is seasoned well.“

“The banh mi are all very testy with crispy airy bread and lots filling. I've had them both spicy and not spicy, def go with spicy they just have sliced jalapenos in them but don't nuke your taste buds. I've had noodle soup dishes and vermicelli dishes from here as well and all taste very authentic and delicious. some ppl said this place lacks customer service, I personally think it adds to the restaurant IMO all the experiences I've had in places around Asia its always more about the food than customer service. I do understand how here ppl think they go hand in hand in food service but for a quick authentic delicious bite I highly suggest this place!“

“Fantastic lil hole in the wall.
Located in the heart of canton center, Phó 29 is a small restaurant run by a husband and his wife, and named for his son's birthday. The portions are incredibly generous, and the food is delicious.“

““Pho-get about your ex—this beef is the real love story.”
Went to Pho 2000 for a casual meal, left spiritually awakened by the vinegar and butter beef. I don’t know who thought, “Let’s drown beef in butter and vinegar,” but I would trust them with my taxes, and maybe even my heart.
The beef? So tender it probably writes poetry in its spare time. The vinegar gave it a sharp sass, like your favorite aunt who always tells it like it is. And the butter? Smooth. Seductive. Basically the Barry White of sauces.
I dipped, I sizzled, I questioned every meal I’d ever had before this.
If you haven’t tried it yet, do yourself a favor—go.
But be warned: your taste buds might file a restraining order because you’ll keep coming back for more.“
“1. I'll come here again. “Moms and Pops” joint.
2. Atmosphere not the most appealing, but my Fried Rice Noodle with chopped up fried tofu was lovely. Not oily or tons of salt. Just Lovely to eat. The portion was reasonable. Their sweet soy something sauce with it was lovely.
3. This desert, which I didn't quite get it should be some Yuka desert. It was lovely too. Should it be warm or cool? Mine was room temperature. I like it too. I like it. Don't expect great service, but some engagement. I'm okay with it.“

“I visited Pho So 1 to try pho for the first time and they did not disappoint! My boyfriend eats here regularly and I look forward to doing the same. We got the Phở Gà Rau Cải (chicken noodle soup with vegetable and shredded chicken) and it was absolutely delicious! It was steaming hot which was perfect for the chilly rainy day. I liked that we got to customize our bowl by adding bean sprouts, chili oil, hot sauce, lime, etc provided to us at the table. The pho was so flavorful and even though I had never had it before, it was instantly comforting. The size large was enough to feel full while dining in and have enough to eat later as leftovers. Their fresh lemonade was the perfect balance between sweet and tart. We also got chicken wings which were perfectly cooked. The flavor was a 10/10 and the skin was crispy. Our server was kind and attentive. I highly recommend visiting!“

“My first visit here. I had a dish where you make your own rice paper rolls with a protein. I had pork and it came with peanuts, carrots, watercress, cucumber, rice and a sweet mild fish sauce. It was delicious and fun. I didn't finish and for my to go box they included a fresh container of the dipping sauce so I was able to have the exact same thing again at home.“

“King Do has recently moved to a new location, and the space is now much larger, cleaner, and more airy. The menu still offers a wide variety of options, and the food remains just as delicious and affordable as before. The highlights for me are definitely the pennywort drink and the mung bean milk—both are refreshing and a must-try.“

“Very authentic and yummy Vietnamese food if you want to grab something quick on the go!
They are incredibly generous (especially with the amount of meat for the Banh Mi) and it’s so delicious and fresh!! It’s a great combination of satisfying your craving for Vietnamese food without having to sit down at a restaurant to get it. The only thing I personally would skip the milk teas but I love the Vietnamese iced coffee and fruit teas :)“

“Banh Mi Huong Que is an authentic Vietnamese restaurant located at 696 Washington Street in Boston. Their main specialty is bánh mì, though they also serve pho and other traditional dishes. I ordered the chicken bánh mì, and it was excellent, the bread was perfectly crispy, and the chicken and vegetables were flavorful. It reminded me of the bánh mì I used to eat in Hanoi. The service was quick, and the prices were reasonable. I highly recommend it !!!“

“Great Hidden Gem for a Casual Seafood Fix
The Experience:
This is a no-frills seafood market/fish fry spot with a mini market vibe. Alongside freshly prepared seafood meals, they offer a small selection of Vietnamese pantry items: things like sauces, spices, and rice. You place your food order at the register toward the back left, where there’s a menu posted. Service was fast and friendly; I was quoted just 15 minutes for my order. They accept credit cards (always a plus), and there are a couple of chairs if you want to wait inside.
The staff was friendly and efficient, and I appreciated that they skipped the tipping screen, especially refreshing given how tipping expectations have spiraled lately. The prices were very reasonable for the portion sizes and quality.
The Food:
I ordered the fish and chips and had a choice between haddock and catfish, I went with the haddock. I also grabbed some egg rolls on the side. A nice touch: they include a bottled water with the meal.
• Fish: Generous portion, well-seasoned, and tasted very fresh. Definitely a standout. (5/5)
• Fries: Crispy, plentiful, and satisfying. Nothing fancy, just solid. (4/5)
• Coleslaw: A bit too creamy for my taste, but it had a nice tang. The only real letdown was the portion—it felt more like a garnish than a side. (3/5)
• Egg Rolls: Came with sweet and sour sauce. These were average, nothing special. (2.5/5)
The rating 4.5/5:
This place is a great option if you’re craving a quick, well-executed seafood meal without the fuss. I’ll definitely be back to try more dishes. If you’re in the area and want solid fried seafood at a fair price, this spot is worth checking out.“

“Absolute the best cold cut Banh mi anywhere. Has all of the ingredients and adequate quantities of each. The Banh mi is also the right size not small like some from other restaurants.
Their Vietnamese menu is great; a lot offerings different options. Each is delicious like green papaya salad, egg rolls, spring rolls, Banh cuon, grilled beef with betel leaves etc. All are so good.
Can easily come out of here spending hundreds.“
