Phinista Cafe Reviews
I went back — and although my first time around ordering an ube matcha was very mediocre, i loved ther banana saigonese latte, banana matcha, and bbq chicken banh mi.
the latte was decadent, creamy, and had the right amount of banana flavor. the banana matcha had that deep matcha taste while complementing well with the banana cream. the banh mi came in a large portion, and was flavorful with clean flavors.
i will say, two years ago i got the ube matcha latte,...read full review

The banh mi was so buttery and crispy, so I highly recommend it! My favorite drink would have to be the early grey latte. There is a lot of indoor and outdoor seating, and they have a restroom for customers.

Phinista Cafe is a cozy spot serving delicious Vietnamese dishes. Their Bahn Mi sandwich, especially the Tofu Bahn Mi, stands out with its perfect crispy bread and simple yet spot-on fillings. The tofu is fried and super flavorful, and customers can ask for it to be made vegan (no aioli). The menu offers interesting drinks, including a creamy coconut iced coffee topped with toasted coconut flakes and a bold black Vietnamese coffee. Oat milk is available for lattes, and the staff are friendly and helpful, willing to customize drinks. The inside is small but has nice table and bar seating, creating a cozy atmosphere. The patio features picnic benches and tables, making it a great spot for a quick bite and coffee. Customers recommend taking the Bahn Mi to go for a picnic, as it travels well. Some jalapeños can be very spicy, and the space can feel cluttered, but the friendly staff and good food make up for it. The cafe is conveniently located near Boston’s art museums, making it a solid choice for a flavorful meal in a cozy setting.
