Broken Rice Com Tam Reviews
The food was very fresh and delicious but, in my opinion, slightly overpriced. Food came out fast. Comfortable, clean interior to sit and eat in. May visit again.
Bun Bo hue is my absolute favorite and I’ve tried so many places in my lifetime and it is my favorite dish from my culture and I will say their bun Bo hue is one of the BEST I have ever tried…. The broth is very flavorful and spicy and complex and has a slight sweetness to it. The beef is cooked and sliced to perfection. I am really so shocked and wasn’t expecting much from a com tam place but this was beyond expectations!! I also ordered this to go to and it was still so...read full review
Really delicious grilled chicken broken rice platter. I was there before the BALLET. I loved it. I am sad how much plastic is served though. Its seems so unnecessary at this point.

Broken Rice Com Tam is a restaurant specializing in Vietnamese cuisine, including the iconic Com Tam dish. The food is very fresh and delicious, and it came out fast. The interior is comfortable, clean, well decorated, cozy, and classy—a little hole in the wall. The restaurant operates as a fast food restaurant where you order at a kiosk and the name is called when it is ready; you can order from the machine too. The seating area is spacious and inviting, and the staff appeared friendly. The service was fast and good for take away too. Expect to clean up by yourself, but the place is great for off-peak hour.
The grilled chicken broken rice platter is really delicious. The Bun Bo hue is one of the BEST ever tried—the broth is very flavorful and spicy and complex with a slight sweetness, and the beef is cooked and sliced to perfection. It is still so good even after getting home, and it probably tastes even better fresh. The rice was the right kind of rice that gives Com Tam its name, and the sauce was also correctly done—the smell of it, the sour veggies on the side, the pork skin (bì), fried oinion (tép mo), and the broken rice instantly brought back home and childhood. The meat was done correctly and yummy, though it has approx 60% of the original taste. There were several massive trash bins in front of the restaurant, which affected the appetite and the aesthetics, and there is a lot of plastic served. The rewards app was only designed for Apple. Overall, the place is recommended, and they also have other soup and rice options. Grannies watch out for short uneven steps when exiting the door.
