Pin Ming Bubble Tea is a decent refreshing stopover for boba drinks and light snacks in Chinatown. While it may not top the charts amidst the numerous boba options, the restaurant offers a satisfactory experience.
The regular boba toppings were mediocre, lacking chewiness, but the strawberry pearls stood out, adding an unexpected fruity sweetness that elevated some of the drinks. The food menu includes Popcorn Chicken and Fried Shrimp. The Popcorn Chicken was a bit of a letdown, being over-seasoned and quite salty, but the Fried Shrimp was a surprisingly good deal, with a perfectly crispy batter and moist, creamy shrimp.
Ordering drinks on the electronic screens is amazingly intuitive, and the customization options are exciting. The atmosphere is generally A++, although the music playing was subpar. Overall, Pin Ming Bubble Tea is a good choice for those in the mood for some decent drinks and snacks in Chinatown.
