“We made reservations online for the Omaska. It was $300 which broke down to $120 per person with tip and tax. The tables were perfectly space out. They gave us a 2 hour limit which was enough time for the 12 course Omaska. Presentation on everything was amazing. Each course was fresh and delicious in their own way. It was hard to hear the man over his mask so I couldn't get any names. We had uni, tuna belly, scallops, and more. All the Courses were small but packed with favor. You can take there was attention to detail in the ingredients and presentation. Definitely, worth the money was a special event like a birthday. Would definitely come back“

“Don’t be fooled by the somewhat outdated interior and hole in the wall feel. The focus here is on the food!

Good quality fish, creative rolls, and efficient service. The price-to-value ratio can’t be beat. Tastes that much better with the reasonable prices. Note that you can tell the fish is not top-notch quality, but it hits all the right notes for an everyday sushi craving. Some rolls are more outstanding than others. My favorite so far was one that incorporated crunchy tempura bits into the minced tuna topping (forgot the name!).

We loved our recent visits so much that we’re getting platters from here for a holiday party. I’m pretty sure they’re going to be a hit.“

“Came here to try the new bubble tea line. The new favors were brown sugar, ube milk, Thai milk and matcha milk . We also grabbed the Fenway special and spicy Hawaiian. Staff was really friendly and helpful. The drinks were all Delicious. They came with matcha boba balls and brown sugar boba balls. My favorite definitely the ube milk. The Fenway Special was so spectacular. All the ingredients just went well together. The spicy mayo was definitely clutch on it. The spicy Hawaiian was a well balance of flavors and textures. It's a bit pricey but worth every penny for the quality. Definitely, will be back to get my poke bowl fix.“

“Basho is an incredible restaurant. The black cod is the best I’ve had and I have been around the world twice. I love your soup. The miso ramen is incredible the right amount of tofu spice and noodle makes it so delectable anything that ails you it will cure. The shrimp fried rice had nearly a dozen large shrimp in it the taste was sublime and full of vegetable, completely disheveled for easy consumption.. the pork Gyoza was just a vine, and the sauce that came with it was not salty, but added just the right amount of zippy flavor. Their cocktails are amazing and go without saying that they’re inventive and delicious as well as refreshing and light……. As always, I would will return to Basho even after these five years, it is one of the best restaurants in the fenway, and it is a must visit.!!!!!“

Bathrooms were very clean. Regarding other reviews, their was no bugs seen or any pins found in the food, overall 9.5 experience.“

“This place was a great find. Coming right off of being back in Japan, so you could say my expectations were low. Zaku did not disappoint. While I would not place them in the authentic camp, their flavors are spot on and notably their grilled fish prep, especially the hamachi kama, was done perfectly and a great value. They have some yakitori selections that might be less popular with western tastes, but those items also hit strong. I needed some starch so gave the duck fried rice a try - which I would not associate with a Japanese style, but was delicious nonetheless. Service was outstanding, drinks were refreshing and I only wish i had two stomachs. Well done!“

The sushi was okay.
I don't recommend the una don (eel bowl) at all, worst ive had. The salmon roe on the Salmon Oyako Don tasted bad, the marinade was off.“

“While riding my unicycle and searching for a really good place to try some sushi my wheel pointed me into the direction of this great little hidden jewel. There's always room for improvement in any restaurant or environment of food services. I gave this blossom 5 stars across the board. Every aspect of service, presentation, courtesy, cleanliness, decorum, food freshness, quality, and I could keep going on. If they were to try and improve, it could possibly hurt them. They are just simply excellent. Thank you for the great experience. One wheel at a time 👍🏼.

“Went here on a Monday night when most other places were closed.

We got the thai pancakes and the thai garden salad for appetisers. Super pleased with them.

For entrees we got the tofu pad thai and chicken ginger make your own thing. Pad thai was great. Chicken was a little boring but cant complain because i ate everything and almost licked the plate (can we normalise that please).

Also! The host, Dit, was great, thank you for being so awesome“

We agreed that it is our favorite fried rice in Boston.

It's really fresh and there are a lot of varieties, except for the sea urchin, which is a bit fishy Octopus Carpaccio ⭐️ The seasoning is very refreshing and the octopus is very chewy, I love it Torched Japanese Scallop ⭐️ It was very light, I couldn't really taste the seasoning, but it was very tender Unagi Don ⭐️ A friend ordered this. “Very good fish. Fatty tuna was incredible, salmon was pretty good. One disappointment was that they only gave wasabi and ginger with the appetizer, but the maki roll came with none. And I ordered two items was given two soy sauce packets. Will probably go back at some point. If i’m paying over $30 for a small paper bag of food i think those sides could be improved.“
