“I'm a taxi driver and I'm in there every day the owner of the company and the work is a great people the story is always clean I could go in and use the bathroom they don't say anything about it they know me by my name they work hard story is 100% clean sanitary the owners are awesome to their workers and they treat them with respect and give them hours to pay the bills.. I understand people have to make money but the owner takes care of her workers even when slow she makes sure her employees are making money that's called a good boss she's respectful iftake care of her business.... “I honestly don’t understand why some reviews are so negative. If I decide to order fast food, I’m going to judge it as fast food—and Charleys Cheesesteaks in Braintree definitely meets expectations in a good way.

The cheesesteaks are genuinely tasty and really good for the price. There’s plenty of cheese, and the portion sizes are great, especially since you can choose from three different sizes. The boneless wings were okay as well, maybe a bit too crispy, but still enjoyable.

Another big plus is the location inside the mall, where you can always find a bright, clean, and pleasant place to sit. Overall, a solid spot for a quick, satisfying meal.“

“Perfect little sub shop in Backbay. We opted for the Italian Sub to go. The atmosphere was awesome with a lot of locals getting what seemed to be a regular daily lunch meal. The staff and customers seemed to know each other and a sense of community was ever so prevalent. The food itself was outstanding, even after a 5 hour train ride it traveled with us to ur next stop. Highly recommend this place. Truly a diamond in the rough.“

“Haven't been to this place in years but, boy sm I glad I did. Got a steak onion and cheese sub at 8 AM, because I could order that at what would be other shops " Breakfast only" time. Nice soft roll ,steak NOT chopped to oblivious gravel like other shops. This spot IS the spot for a steak and cheese . I'm gonna go back and try all the ol standards again done right. Kudos. Can't wait to try a simple hit dog. Believe it or not, people screw that up . But according to the reviews I've seen, they're done just right. When my immigrant parents said “ Study Hard” they meant so I can live in a neighborhood that serves sandwiches like those found at Michael’s Deli. The wait was short, and I liked that you can see your name and estimated time on the board. We ordered takeout, but there were tables available for dining in as well. I asked the gentleman at the counter if they did Tripleta sandwiches as they weren't on the menu. He didnt hesitate to say yes and in 10 minutes chuffed me up the BEST SANDWICH I have ever eaten in my life. The meat was tender and rich, the pepper jack cheese had the perfect kick, the red onions and mayo perfectly went with the sandwich. I had to go back just to let the only guy working he did amazing. Im just your average white guy who was more than impressed by this sandwich. I highly reccomend.“

“I love Mario’s! I’ve been a customer for nearly eight years, and I have to say the breakfast menu is incredibly consistent. You can order four of the same sandwiches, and they’ll taste exactly the same. Consistency like that is hard to find in today’s food industry, even among fast-food restaurants.

The staff has always been friendly, regardless of any changes over the years. Even though the location has changed, it’s still the same heartwarming food joint it has always been.

“I kept hesitating on whether I wanted to try Jersey Mike's and today I decided to stop in. I was greeted with a warm welcome. We chatted and I placed my order for a Philly cheese steak (kahuna) on rosemary ...sub. It was "Delicious". I was not disappointed. I was tempted to eat the whole sub but my conscience wouldn't allow me, so i shared half with hubby. I definitely will make this my spot for hot subs!!“

“I’ve eaten a lot of subs in my life, but nothing has come close to what I experienced here. From the second I walked in, the bread smelled like it had just come out of the oven — that perfect golden-brown crust with a soft, pillowy inside that practically melts when you bite into it.

I got the turkey and provolone on Italian herb bread, and the portions were unreal. They didn’t skimp on a single ingredient — the turkey was piled high, thick-cut, and clearly high quality, not the paper-thin stuff you get elsewhere. The veggies were crisp and obviously fresh (the lettuce actually crunched, the tomatoes were ripe, not mealy), and the banana peppers had just the right amount of tang without overpowering everything else.

What really set it apart was the attention to detail: the sandwich was toasted to golden perfection, cheese melted evenly edge to edge, and they layered the condiments so every single bite had the perfect ratio — none of that “all the sauce at one end” problem you get at chain spots.

The staff were incredibly friendly and clearly took pride in their work — they asked thoughtful questions about how I wanted things prepared instead of just rushing through the order. You can tell this isn’t just a job for them; it’s a craft.
