“I've never been to D'Angelo's before, but after I had the most delicious thanksgiving turkey dinner sandwich, I can't wait to go back. The place is clean, and small. It has two different entrances, and the workers are very funny, and friendly.“

“I don't usually leave reviews but I want to commend the gentleman the works at the Weymouth location located in the Walmart at 740 Middle Street in Weymouth,MA.My brother had a stroke that has left him mostly non-verbal and this gentleman was so kind and patient with taking his order, so nice in fact it made me tear up.Not only did he make my brothers sandwich exactly how he wanted he made him smile.. both of those are hard to accomplish these days with him being non-verbal.It's kindness and patience like that you don't see often enough and your company should be so proud to have him.Thank you! ?“

“This place rocks. The person who took my order was so nice, and the place smells great, is comfortable and clean. Our takeout for breakfast (pancakes and bacon/egg/cheese on everything bagel) was delicious and satisfying, and the bagel was great (way better than I expect for a bagel from a place that's not focused on them).
Overall, a super friendly, down-to-earth place with great food and vibes that helped me get my day off on the right foot!“

“Best D'Angelo we have ever been too. Food was hot brought right to our table. Didn't have to ask for anything cause it was all there for us to just sit back and enjoy. Tables were clean and Gail, Shante and Jaime were the nicest employees I've ever met at a D'Angelo. Recommend this one over all the overs and we appreciated them checking up on us after we had our food to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. Wish every establishment was like this!! Thanks again for making our day!
Parking: Easy in, easy out
Kid-friendliness: Smaller portions for the kids and a genuine good atmosphere for them
Wheelchair accessibility: Wide entrances, ramp going in and tables designed to accommodate“

“Haven't been to this place in years but, boy sm I glad I did. Got a steak onion and cheese sub at 8 AM, because I could order that at what would be other shops " Breakfast only" time. Nice soft roll ,steak NOT chopped to oblivious gravel like other shops. This spot IS the spot for a steak and cheese . I'm gonna go back and try all the ol standards again done right. Kudos. Can't wait to try a simple hit dog. Believe it or not, people screw that up . But according to the reviews I've seen, they're done just right. It's really nice to know that these non pretentecious simply good food places still do exist.“

“Mike & Patty’s is a staple in Boston. Everyone is so welcoming and the food is to die for. Don’t try to be healthy and make sure you order the Bfast Grilled Crack with a big cup of coffee. Eat at the counter (only two seats) or take your sandwich outside and stroll the village.“

“What a great hole in the wall spot!! Went here on a whim and I was NOT disappointed. $7.50 is really reasonable especially in Boston for a good banh mi! Tons of customers while I ate, which is a huge good sign. Service was super fast, bread was crisp and the pickled veggies were delicious. I liked that you can customize how much of each ingredient is in your sandwich. I got the pork belly banh mi, there were some chewy bits (fat, maybe?) I picked out- regardless, overall delicious. The shrimp rolls with peanut sauce are also amazing! I do wish more bottled drink options were available, but the sandwich was my main focus for the visit. Will be coming back again for an affordable and delicious meal :)“

“The old railroad pizza and Cafe l, what can I say?
These guys hit it out of the park every time for me.
The portion sizing is almost overwhelming when you compare it to other sib sandwich places. My wife and I split a large sub and a small fry and could not even finish it all
The prices are very competitive if not cheaper than most other places around.
Since I found this place, I haven't order from anywhere else for lunch while I'm at work“

“First, this place is run by some of the nicest people I’ve ever met and I’m dead serious. My parents were here for my dad’s surgery and we stopped in for sandwiches that we all loved (and mom is PICKY). We ended up coming every day while dad was in the hospital and Nick and Georgia asked us how he was doing and were so kind that we are all seriously going to miss them. They have great sandwiches, smoothies, ice cream, milkshakes, pasta and salads. My favorites were the salmon sandwich and the Code 10 but everything I tried was delicious, made by a family with love.“

“Al's is an institution you simply must go to. Amazing sandwiches and portions for great prices. If you work downtown and haven't been here for lunch, you've made a terrible error.
If you're a hungry tourist looking for lunch, skip quincy market and come get a taste of Boston's authentic sandwich scene. You may even run into the Al, the national treasure himself.
Just a warning, it's potentially the most chaotic restaurant in Boston and if you are going for the first time.... good luck.“

“The subs at Al's are true works of art. The large sub is plenty for two. Toppings were generous and the older gentlemen behind the counter add real atmosphere. Reasonably priced at $13.50 for a large (bigger than a foot long) . Pay attention, they close early (around 3) and stop making hot subs a little before that.“

“The pictures are misleading. There was at best two thin slivers of pastrami on our reuben. Tasted good, but for 16 dollars I was hoping for more... Update: They reached out and refunded our money for the sandwich that did not meet our expectations. Great customer service. Removing the item that we were not pleased with from the calculation (given the refund), the overall review goes from three to four stars. Thank you.“

“Okay, so the crux of this review is to thank the staff and the management at Saus for creating one of the coolest (and unexpected) “linger a while” environments in downtown. We are pedicab drivers. In the winter, when we come out, it is usually for short shifts that anchor themselves on Bruins and Celtics games. Most of our work riding pedicabs is during the in and out of the game, so the in-between is when we need to refuel and get warm. In the past we had a favorite coffee shop, but they reduced their hours during the pandemic and never returned to night hours. So winter pedicab riders had to adopt a new home for the mid-game “hiding and eating.” During the 2022-2023 winter, we adopted Saus. And we have not regretted it since! Okay, we can go on and on about the delicious fries and sauces. (Our favorite is the CHONKY-ASS CHICKEN NUGGETS and their unsung hero meal of the chicken sandwiches.) But as much as we love the poutine, we want to sing the praises of Saus for other reasons. The staff is proudly funky, fun, and casual. Not that kind of aloof, weird funky. They are GOOD at their jobs! And they have fun with each other. HUGE props to the management for encouraging this culture of “let the employees make their own vibe.” IT WORKS. The staff is friendly, chatty, and quick to remember us regulars. This kind of familiarity in such a touristy ;part of town is not just refreshing, it is heartwarming! So while we warm our butts before heading back into the cold for pedicab, Saus became one of our mid-game homes. Thanks for keeping such an awesome staff culture, and of course delicious food. And thanks for letting us linger and chatting us up. Come to Saus for the fries. Stay for the cool, casual vibe!“
“Great Sandwiches! Had the Turkey gobbler (thanksgiving sandwich) and the meatball sub. Also grabbed a tiramisu from the cold section. The tiramisu was fantastic. Service was outstanding as well. Great spot to check out of you haven't already.“

“I kept hesitating on whether I wanted to try Jersey Mike's and today I decided to stop in. I was greeted with a warm welcome. We chatted and I placed my order for a Philly cheese steak (kahuna) on rosemary ...sub. It was "Delicious". I was not disappointed. I was tempted to eat the whole sub but my conscience wouldn't allow me, so i shared half with hubby. I definitely will make this my spot for hot subs!!“

Forget names apologies. However fast and correct customer/food service.
Knowledge of menu and prices as well. General restaurant area was of relative cleanliness.
Excellently splendid.“

“Came here to pick up a lunch. The chicken club was one of the best sub sandwiches I've had anywhere, I was thoroughly impressed. The employee who helped me was very friendly as well. It is in an unusual area with very little space for dining in but is perfect for picking up a meal to-go.“

“A friend of our said we have to go there, she's been going here for over 30 years. As soon as you walk in, you get that feeling of a great New England sub shop. She said they have the best steak and cheese, that made up my mind. My wife was looking at the menu a bit longer she has some food allergies to deal with. The owner leaned over the counter, what can I make you. He brought up a bunch of suggestions and made her something not on the menu. My wife said, it was the best she has had. That's good old fashion New England customer service. And yes the steak and cheese was awesome. I can't wait to go back again.“

“I crave the Italian sandwich from here all the time. It tastes really fresh with lots of tomatoes and lettuce but it has the perfect vinegar-y bite too. It also doesn't have too much meat so it's not overly heavy. It is very reasonably priced and the staff are kind. I recommend this place for a quick and casual meal.“

“This place is excellent! How lucky am I to work so close to this shipping container. The bread is always so fresh and the sandwiches are scooby doo and shaggy sized large. I really wish they would come up with a rewards or point system for employees at the design center who come here almost daily. It’s for sure burning a hole in my pocket and I know that’s 100% my problem but a free sandwich after say maybe 10 purchased sandwiches would make a lot of sense in my opinion.“
“Anything except a 5 star is a lie, it’s just their competitors down voting them. Hands down best food and friendliest staff, in Boston by a mile!! Wide range of delicious food and the best prices. Anie and his staff are the kindest and Scola elevates the Seaport area significantly! You cannot go wrong, regardless of what you chose on their menu or daily specials.“
“Sunday , we came here. The line move along with everyone social distancing. I got the honey bun swirl and pineapple Coconut. Both were soft and fluffy. Pineapple coconut tasted like pina colada. The honey bun swirl was way to sweet for me . It was about $3.50 a donut. Worth a try“

“I will not be going to a different subway location ever again after today’s lunch.Upon arrival I was immediately greeted by sandwich artists Will and Ramila (I apologize if I butchered the name). Both were extremely friendly and held a warm smile throughout my whole ordering process. Not only we’re they both kind and welcoming, Will demonstrated the proficient art of sandwich making.I had ordered a footlong ham and provolone topped with fresh mozzarella cheese, lettuce, onions, garlic aioli and chipotle sauce (a must have combo for any new comers). All of the ingredients found at this location were ACTUALLY fresh. The lettuce was bright green, the onions perfectly sliced, and I received the perfect amount of sauce on my already amazing sandwich. At other locations my sandwich will be drenched and my bread will get soggy, Will knew just how much to put in. Props to you Will and thank you for giving me my money’s worth.Being my first time visiting this location, I expected grumpy staff trying to get rid of me as soon as possible, but I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the restaurant and the warm welcome I was given on arrival. I appreciate this immensely, having worked for 3 years at a different location I know the stress of the job. Thank you Will and Ramila once again, and stay awesome!!-Colin Clancy“
