Awesome food, people are so friendly.
We only had to wait 20 min (during the supper hour!) for our food and we waited at a table inside, it was very small but cozy and we liked the closeness of the tables and the relaxed vibe :). As soon as we walked in a lady came and handed us a menu, and a minute later she came back to take our order so service was super quick. Clay Pot Cafe (旺角煲仔饭) is a small restaurant serving authentic Hong Kong style claypot dishes and Cantonese cuisine. The space is small with very limited capacity, so expect to wait in line—but it is worth the wait and the service is fast. The food is incredible, with reasonable prices and quality that has been maintained for years. The Clay Pot Rice (煲仔饭) is a definite must-get, and the Black Pepper Beef Noodles (黑椒意粉) stole the show, easily a 5/5. The curry fish balls are flavorful with just the right amount of spice, a must order. The chicken sausage clay pot is delicious with perfectly cooked rice and rich, savory flavors. The fish congee is comforting, fresh, and full of flavor. Rice soup with seafood is also delicious. Good options are available for vegetarians and omnivores, including a vegetarian claypot and fresh doumiao (peashoots). They cook most things with bones. A fantastic meal for the whole family.
