About New Wings Kitchen Chinese Down Town

New Wings Kitchen Chinese Down Town is a cozy small place in Chinatown with the best food and huge portions. The Cantonese food is spectacularly delicious, with good portion, good quality, and wonderful taste. Specific meals include crispy pork ribs with garlic sauce, which is absolutely delicious, and empress chicken, which is a little too salty if eaten alone and is recommended with white rice. Empress salted chicken is a must try. Other dishes like lo mein, claypot rice, crab Rangoon, and beef with ginger/scallion are all excellent. The hot and sour soup is a little too spicy, but customers can ask to make it less spicy. The price is really good in this economy. Staff is pretty nice, kind, and efficient, with quick and easy service. They serve complimentary tea and give complimentary dessert like mung bean soup. There is extra seating on the second floor for large groups. It is the best hidden gem in Boston, great for family and large groups, with many vegetarian options.

Hit the spot! So good!
This place actually hits the spot. I really recommend crispy pork ribs with garlic sauce. That’s absolutely delicious. The hot and sour is a little too spicy for me but you can ask them to make it a little less next time. It was kinda random because we were just walking around Chinatown and walked past this restaurant. The Empress Chicken is a little too salty for me if I just ate it by itself. Recommend to eat it with white rice. Staff is pretty nice and helpful. The price...read full review
