“Fabulous dinner last night. Loved the Ceilo Rubi cocktail, the delicious oysters and the paella. My boyfriend also loved his lobster bisque and seafood casserole. Beautiful ambiance in the back corner of the restaurant overlooking the river. Danny definitely made our dinning experience even better. He was so personable and enthusiastic about all the offerings. We'll be back!“
“Really a wonderful neighborhood place. Very comfortable to spend an enjoyable evening with friends, or alone at the bar. Very delicious food. The dishes are creative and the presentation always surprises. I do wish that more specials were offered to make the menu have more variety. That is the only reason for not giving it 5 star. The prices are reasonable and service friendly.. I really love this place and highly recommend it.“
“Was visiting Providence this weekend and had the best meal here! The servers were incredible professional and kind, the drinks were delicious, and I’m still dreaming about the scallops. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a hearty home cooked meal.“
“Delicious delicacies and amazing staff took care of my FIL's birthday dinner perfectly. Menu delicious, drinks delicious, dessert delicious. Couldn't be happier with the whole experience. The beef tartar is out of this world and the black pasta is literally to die for. ???“
“If you want a great steak and steakhouse, this place definitely delivers. The steak, and several other foods, are absolutely fantastic. Also, this place really looks like a steakhouse: high ceilings, huge floor-ceiling windows, dark reds and stained woods. I was impressed the bread-bowl had four very different breads. My tenderloin tasted amazing, every mouthful was cherished. It also came with two lobsters, I very rarely eat lobster, as it usually tastes bland, only when it is cooked to perfection do I love it; as I was in New England I ordered the lobster, and it was absolutely delicious, beautifully delicate, and cherished just like the steak with which it came. The brussel sprouts were similarly perfect. The sextet of oysters were small and average. I also had a beet/goats-cheese salad, which was similarly disappointing. However, overall, lots of great food to be had.“
“Nice music, nice vibes, & prices are fair. My bag was $47 & I got a pound of head off shrimp, a pound of mussels, & payed an extra $2 for their extra spicy hot sauce which was BOMB! I'm a really big guy & couldn't finish it all. Was a generous portion & good price especially for good sized pieces of shrimp & quality mussels. Had my mouth on fire but I couldn't stop eating because of how flavorful it was! Service was great as well. I drove from cape cod Massachusetts with family to eat here & it was well worth the drive & price!!“
“Our first time. Two members of party with celiac. Very safe and conscientious. But her and steak were overcooked. Burger order was incorrect. Flavors were outstanding. Service was attentive but food was slow to come out and was lukewarm. I'll attribute to a busy Saturday and will give them another shot due to accommodation for Gf. Lovely decor and we were on the heated pitch which was very nice“
“Tiny on the inside but packs a mighty oyster punch. No reservations but there’s a standing bar area you can start ordering drinks and oysters from while you wait. Obviously come for the oysters, but stay for the Bulgarian lamb burger!! Also the kimchi brine oyster shooters. Man those things were delicious (and dangerous!!) Also also pickled fried onions. Get those you won’t regret it.“
“Server was extremely attentive; hostess / manager as well. Everything was superb with exception of lamb being over cooked and staffs well-intentioned but poor response to the situation. They quickly took the lamb back and didn't even ask if I wanted that again, or something else. They did bring me shrimp cocktail while I waited and my guests enjoyed their meal; but we had already had shrimp cocktail as an appetizer and no one at the table wanted more. Normally under such circumstances a better restaurant would have provided free desserts, especially since by the time my second rack of lamb - now cooked to perfection came out- my guests were pretty much finished eating and patiently waited and observed me eating. We had ordered shrimp cocktails for an appetizer and while I was waiting for my main dish and my guests ate, they brought me more shrimp cocktail, but I honestly didn't want anymore. The situation could have been handled much better. If they had simply taken the time to have asked, I would have ordered the quickest meal the kitchen could prepare to dine with my guests. If they had simply asked, I would have preferred another glass of wine to shrimp cocktails or a free dessert for my two guests to eat, instead of them watching me eat my food because they had already finished theirs. It was the first time we had something like that happen there. The response was well intended but quite poor compared to other fine restaurants in Providence.“
“$1 oyster happy hour is the way to go. A little on the smaller side but still a good deal and the oysters the day we came were a great salinity. Also got the happy hour wasabi calamari, which was fine and maybe could use a bit more wasabi. The happy hour menu doesn't have any drink deals on it, unfortunately. Great and quick service at the bar seats.“
“I saw this spot on Instagram and had to visit since there aren’t many healthy options in the area. It was even better than I expected! I had the recommended Hometown Classic bowl and tried their new boba. Both were amazing! Such a chill vibe too so I ended up working on my laptop here for hours, then had their nitro cold brew, and may or may not have tried their rosé.“
“Our server was great! The food was mostly very good. The lobster tail was salted which is unnecessary on seafood that lives in salt water. The drawn butter was also salted. This took away from the taste. The Fleming's potatoes could have been cooked a little more. We don't care for crunchy potatoes. The rest of our meal was great and again, our server was top notch!“
“On Thursday 11/30/23 @2030 hrs. I visited this restaurant for the first time with my guess. The meal was delicious. Well season and well portion for the price. Unfortunately, I had to send back the steam clams due to the fact they were cool/room temperature to the touch. Even when they were cold, they still were delicious. The atmosphere was a romantic one. The wait staff was great. My main wait staffer was Taylor. She wasc OUTSTANDING! She took care of all of our food service needs.“
“All of the food we chose was well prepared and delicious. We would definitely go again. We ordered the "all you can eat option" (90 min to finish) and were pretty full by the hour mark. Also, our server was great. I'm pretty sure she would've been tipped better if there wasn't an 18% gratuity charge tho.“
“Since they opened it has been my favorite restaurant, the food is totally delicious, with good seasoning, very friendly and attentive staff and the quiet and relaxing atmosphere, I love the service, the place and the staff.Recommended 10/10.✨??“
“The mussels were so good and the broth was amazing!! But I wasn’t too impressed by the scallops. Also, the cheesecake was not very good; it tasted like dense, cold grocery store cheesecake, not the light and fluffy cheesecake I remember they used to have. It also felt like an expensive meal for what it was. I would come back though!“
“First time here and was very impressed! My favorite Mexican place was closed (la Lupita) so i decided to go across the street to check out mi Ranchito! The service was awesome, two very sweet girls walked me through the menu. The bartender was clearly very well loved by staff and customers. Seemed like she knew the place like the back of her hand. She praised the soft tacos (which were delicious). I got one shrimp, beef, and chicken. Came with a salad and side of rice — the rice was phenomenal! But the star of the show was the Chicken soup. You can only do a large size for take out, but I was given the choice of having my chicken grilled… I said, why not? And I am so glad I did. The chefs put the stewed chicken, still on the bone, and crisp it up over heat. The chicken of the soup was then boxed separately from the broth, and I was shocked about how much delicious chicken they gave us! Falling off the bone, tender, but with a bit of a crust from the grilling at the end. So so good. Also came with a quarter of avocado and rice. A really good deal. I got a Modelo waiting for my food, and the total came out to $36 (and then i tipped $8, totaling $44!!“
“I absolutely love the food! I always get the large carne asada. Its carne asada, white vegetable rice, salad with piccolo de gallo, carrot and macaroni salad, fried platano and beans. It’s authentic Guatemalan food and I love it.The inside looks a bit janky, but they just opened up. I remember the building itself was a party store than it became a Panda Express and now it’s Xoyita. I usually get take out and eat comfortably at home.“
“Haruki has always been my favorite, the go to for freshness and delicious sushi. My all time favorite is the Die Hard. If you like spicy this one is a must. I love how the heat come on the end once you enjoyed the flavor of the fish. Must like cilantro!! The heat is complained by the freshness of the cilantro, my mouth waters... If you dine in sit at the sushi bar, a great way to spend the night watching the masters at work. Great sorce of entertainment on a date too. Lol“
“Amazing food and service, the down side is that you HAVE to bring CASH. Love the food, music and vibe.I’ve ordered breakfast, lunch and catered pernil for several occasions.I wish they accept credit cards, I would come more frequently plus you get the reward points ? lol.“
“Our waitress Nicole went above and beyond to make my husbands birthday experience epic! Our food was delicious and their octopus was phenomenal. The ambiance is great for a date or night out with friends. Food was delicious once again as that was my second time at this restaurant. Thank you for great service!“
“Red Stripe is one of our regulars dining out. Service is always good and ambiance is great albeit a bit noisy at times. Not sure why the lights flicker so frequently. It was pretty distracting this visit. Love the house salad! Excellent dressing. Entrees this visit were Chicken Parmesan which is always tender and delicious served with perfectly cooked linguini, and a new item, Bacon and Cheddar Meatloaf. The meatloaf is smothered with what I would call French onion soup gravy, and served over mashed potatoes. Delicious, and nice presentation, but we both felt the somewhat thin slice of meatloaf itself was lacking in texture and bite. It was almost mushy. I can't say I really noticed the cheddar and bacon. We ordered a slice of Tiramisu to go and ate it later at home. Light and flavorful!“
“Okay I’m super happy to say I have no complaints about this place. I go once a week and order with/without my friends when we do our study blocks. Super delicious food. The chicken is to die for and fries are better then McDonald’s. ??? Honestly prefer this over other chicken places like KFC or Popeyes.“
“Food, drinks, service, vibe, music ect.. . Everything was awesome.Parking: The restaurant has a free parking lot and there is also plenty of street parkingKid-friendliness: They do have a kid menuWheelchair accessibility: Yes, its accessible“
“i've been down wickenden sooo many times and can't believe i never paid attention. what a cute cozy sushi spot. i regret not doing floor seating but will next time! our server was so kind and patient with us as we kept ordering and deciding in between plates if we wanted more. i will say the savory entree was okay, no regrets, but not the main star of the show. the sushi was definitely fresh and yummy. miso soup was also a good warm option to open up with. also their tea came in a tea bag so i asked for miso soup instead and they were really nice about it. will be back :)“
“Awesome service, food, especially the atmosphere. I went here with my mom and the pay wasn't even that bad. I would highly recommend this place to more people. This place deserves a blessing!Vegetarian options: Lot of sushi and salads of choicesParking: I couldn't look anywhere without there being a lot of parking spots free ?“
“Ordered the Jumbo tray Seafood Galore boil with Tom Yum Sauce (seasonal) + Medium spice. The seafood galore has crab legs, shrimp, crawfish, and clams. Comes with corn and potatoes. We got a decent amount of food. About ~20 shrimp, ~20 clams, and 2 crabs total. 2 half corn cobs and 6 potatoes. It’s advertised to feed 2-3 people, but if you have big appetites it’ll feed 2 at MOST.They were out of crawfish unfortunately, so I think they ended up charging us for the BYO seafood boil instead. We added on a lobster tail which also good.Flavor was amazing! You should definitely keep the Tom Yum sauce year round, it was so so good. Tangy, spicy, sweet, sour, and garlicky. Seafood was cooked nicely, not rubbery at all.Waiter was very kind. Service was fast. We went on Halloween (Tuesday) and it was dead.“
“The food and service were wonderful, although the decor felt a little dated. We dined before attending an event and the server was very accommodating of our schedule while still providing excellent service. While on the more expensive side, the food was delicious. I highly recommend the pre-fixe menu. The complementary valet was also appreciated.“
“Lucia's is THE PLACE to get the real deal, genuine, authentic Mexican food. This order of nachos was MIND-BLOWING. Not only was it more visually appealing than any other plate of nachos (I mean LOOK AT IT hopefullythe pic was uploaded) but it was loaded with the toppings! Like, you know how people put the toppings just on the top and none in the middle? Yeah, NOT AT LUCIA'S. And the *T*A*S*T*E* was phenomenal. I'm fairly okay at conversational Spanish, and I tried to tell Lucia all of this in Spanish, but the food was so incredible that I could barely speak English. I can't wait to go back. Why would you eat at a chain restaurant that mass produces garbage that barely passes for food (much less actual Mexican cuisine) when you could eat at Lucia's??“
“This is my go-to Chinese takeout place in Providence. The food is fresh and delicious and my order is always ready in about 15 minutes. They give you a ton of food so I get 2 or 3 meals out of it. I’ve never eaten inside so I can’t speak for that though. I highly recommend the scallion pancakes and orange chicken.“
“Dined here recently . First time eating here and to say we were happy is an understatement . Food was good but the service was second to none . Our waiter Jason was one of the best we’ve had anywhere. Vert knowledgeable and personable . Seemed to have a great feel and timing for the flow of the restaurant . Dessert we had the mocha cheesecake which was just alright . Will definitely be back“
