“Gift Horse has been on our list for a while every time we visit Providence, and I am so glad we finally made it in. It was so good.

We came after dinner for some light bites and drinks, but honestly, I wish we had come here for a full dinner instead. The monkfish toast was fantastic, the oysters were incredibly fresh, and the martini was exactly what I wanted. 🍸

Even though we only came in for a few bites, everything made me want to come back and experience the full menu. This is definitely going on my list for our next Providence trip. A great spot for dinner, drinks, or just a few really good things at the bar. 🦪“

“Absolutely loved Puffcakes. they were incredibly light, fluffy, and delicious — they practically melt in your mouth. Everything was beautifully presented, and the whole brunch experience was wonderful. Such a fun and unique concept, and definitely worth trying if you’re in Providence!

“We ventured into Providence to Providence for a quiet dinner on a Sunday evening. I'm so glad we chose Ten Prime Seafood. The hostess was charming, the waitstaff was professional, and the food was delicious. We started with the Chicken Nuggets & Caviar, crispy and delicious. The Lobster Tortelloni in pink vodka sauce deserves its own fan club. The sauce is rich without being heavy--creamy, bright, and so flavorful! The swordfish entrée was just as impressive. It was beautifully seasoned and grilled to that ideal point where it's still juicy and tender. We finished off the evening with perfect pairing of Creme Brulé and an Affogato. Ten Prime Seafood is a wonderful addition to the Providence restaurant scene!“

The Wagyu Tenderloin was the best my daughter has ever had and my son said the same about his Ribeye. The butter poached libster tail was amazing as well. The clam chowder was excellent too. “This place is such a gem in Rhode island, family owned by a hard-working couple who are so kind and pleasant and the food they make is just so delicious, you don't think that a pizza could he made with TLC but it is. My friends family has been getting food from them for decades, a Saturday ritual. The food is just clean well presented and delicious. I've since ordered many times, they remember my friend's family's order, and I've also purchased dough, Cheese and other things they have there. Not only is the food good, it's just nice to be greeted with a welcoming smile when you walk in. If you want to support local business and get good value and good food this is the place. Close to Attleboro Rumford and East Providence on Newport Avenue and I highly recommend them. I ordered a wonderful medley of things on a veggie pizza, and a wonderful hearty barbecue chicken calzone. I mace some zaziki to go along side of it, but not necessary lol try them and enjoy!!“

“If your looking for an all around fantastic experience than Stone Ridge Grill and Bar in Plainville ma is the bullseye u want to hit ..From the food , the atmosphere ,and service. We had the Baked Haddock , it was a treat .Large servings .Go there for dinner and stop by Plainridge casino , hit the slots with friends and call it an incredible night . Cheers.“

“What do I recommend….Absolutely everything ! This is the Italian restaurant experience everyone should have. You’re treated like family. The food is absolutely delicious. Every dish that came to our table looked and tasted like the main ingredient is love. If you are fortunate enough to go when Mama’s stuffed squash flowers are on the specials menu, you better try them. Isabella our waitress was absolutely amazing. After a wonderful meal, my husband paid the bill & we were getting ready to leave when the manager came to our table to ask what was wrong & if we were unhappy w/our server.....'No he was fantastic' we said. Oh! he said, because we didn't leave a tip he thought the waiter had messed up.... suffice it to say.... husband had THOUGHT he left the tip when he paid. Apparently he didn't!!! Talk about being embarrassed!! We gave Jake a little extra in his tip. So, next time you're at Davenports, East Prov. ask for Jake... he's awesome & goes beyond his waitstaff duties.“

“My husband and I went for the first time on Saturday and sat at the bar. We ordered apps and cocktails and of course oysters. Best oysters in RI by far believe it or not. Drinks were ok but food fabulous! Would have given 5 stars if not for the bartender. She focused solely on my husband the entire time even gave him a free drink. It was very obvious and blatant disrespect to me. My husband even commented on feeling uncomfortable. As a former bartender the general rule is to pay more attention to the wife than the husband out of respect but also because most often the wife is writing the tip. We will for sure be going back but will sit at a table and maybe only order sparkling water.“

I've had one of the best steaks I've had in years.....I'm a former chef and as a chef I look for all aspects in a restaurant...My wife recommended Fleming's due to the fact that she went there in Florida...we had the most attentive waitress by the name of Jocelyn. I'll never forget her. plus the rest of the staff will also so attentive. I really appreciate that you rarely find that in restaurants nowadays...I will be back....FIVE STARS IN MY OPINION“

“For a hotel restaurant, we were very impressed. We ate here three times. Twice for the breakfast buffet and once for drinks and lunch.

The breakfast buffet is excellent. Good coffee. They give each table their own pot. The fruit selection was great. They have fresh waffles, eggs, bacon, potatoes, French toast, cereal, breads, granola, Greek yogurt (I wish they had plain) etc.

The star of the show is the omelet station and the woman who works it. She is lovely. I forget her name - it starts with an S. Her omelettes are great and her warmth makes breakfast special. I think she is of African descent. We also had two wonderful servers - KC and I can’t remember the other. But they were excellent. They are attentive and friendly.

During lunch, Isaac was a one man show. He was tending the bar, he seated us, he took our order and brought us our drinks. Unbelievable. My son loved his chicken tenders. My wife had the mussels and I had the peach salad. Everything was great and we were pleasantly surprised.“

“Went to Taqueria Lupita for the first time yesterday. We ordered tacos to-go (Al Pastor & Suedero). The tacos were delicious. Perfect really. Our hosts were warm and friendly and apologized for not being able to serve us at a table inside due the pandemic. I honestly can’t wait for life to return to normal so I can return to this gem of a restaurant for the whole experience (including Sangria).
