“Good vibes, great cocktails and yummy food.“

“This little restaurant, raw bar, bar bar is not messing around. They handle their shellfish perfectly, cold, crazy fresh, and masterfully shucked. I recommend just a dash of the mignonette to just highlight the delicious flavors of the posters. The bartender told me the raw scallops have never left the menu so I ordered them. I can see why they're almost a signature of GH. The bok choy pancake is really good but strangely filling. Plenty for 2.

The cocktails are well mixed.

“I held a rehearsal dinner at Maria’s and I cannot say enough how great it was to plan with the help of Chris Spertini. He made the whole evening a success by guiding me with food choices and seating arrangement. Our server was excellent. She was extremely attentive to our guests. This will be my go-to restaurant. If you have not dined at Maria’s you are missing out.“

“The part of me that wants everyone to feel what it's like eat at your nonna's house where they think you are the greatest thing that ever happened, triumphed over the part of me that wants to keep this place a secret so there isn't a line out the door every day. Giovanna clearly knew what she thought each of us should eat but tried hard to not let it show "but, eat what you want...." She was excited in the way only a Napolitana can be when we chose her recommendations, osso bucco for Mike and lobster raviolo for me. It was amazing food wrapped in a childhood memory.“

“Outstanding meal! There were 7 of us for a family gathering (we met in the middle for CT + MA family) and everything about our dinner was exceptional! The food, the wine, the calamari + dip, the bread, the olive oil + balsamic dip were all delicious, but the lobster ravioli and caramel gelato were to die for. Omg! Our server was perfect too. “Have been here several times before. Had the bone in 22 oz, rib-eye cooked Medium rare and it was good but not great. Too much fat throughout the cut IMHO. At $75 it should have been perfect. Everything else was great, lobster bisque and my spouse had the Sliced Filet Mignon which as perfect. We celebrated 54'th anniversary and they made it special. Will come back but next time get a different steak.“

“First off, let’s start with the space. I’m visiting from a big cityyy so my expectations can be a little high — but this place is absolutely breathtaking. The vibe is cozy, upscale, and still relaxed enough to just kick back and enjoy. It feels refreshing and thoughtfully designed without trying too hard.

Bianca, the bartender who helped me out, was incredible. She has such a well-crafted, extensive specialty knowledge and was amazing at guiding me through the menu when my indecisiveness kicked in (which happens often). She’s relatable, friendly, a little edgy in the best way, and the space felt very queer-friendly and welcoming because of that energy. I’m already looking forward to coming back and chatting it up with B again.

Only small con: the payment process. It would be a nice upgrade to have handheld devices so guests don’t have to give up their phones to close out. Small detail, but it would elevate the experience even more.

“Love Sawyers! Favorite time to go there is early evening for a glass of wine and some aperitif. Sandwiches are great quality and freshly made. They are filling but not too heavy end your day at lunch. We recently tried their amazing breakfast sandwich. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable about their offerings. Worth picking their brain about wine selection, they know their stuff. Their dinner pop ups are worth going out of your way for too! Great neighborhood spot, thrilled it’s there!“

“Last night at Flemings... I've had one of the best steaks I've had in years.....I'm a former chef and as a chef I look for all aspects in a restaurant...My wife recommended Fleming's due to the fact that she went there in Florida...we had the most attentive waitress by the name of Jocelyn. “First time as was in town from Newport to see Little Jagged Pill at PPAC. Bartender (Tim?) was excellent friendly, knowledgeable on menu and made great handcrafted drinks. Manager (she moved here from NYC) was also excellent. I ordered the pork loin special, one of my friends ordered to porchetta over grits (I was a bit jealous as it was amazing. Overall a great experience.“

We had the frutti di mare with homemade pasta and Bolognase. So good. My pear martini was the best I’ve ever had. Adffogato for dessert. Think this is our new favorite spot. “don't order online ... they take your money, never ships the product, and you never hear from them again. I'm about to call a lawyer if I don't get my $24.00 back. much faster service if you drive to RI from Florida to find a store where you can pick it up from a shelf.“
