I live around the corner, and Sawyer’s makes me love our neighborhood just a little more.
Brought a scrabble board and played one game while we had great cider and coferment bottles. Ordered sandwiches and snacks that were freshly prepared, incredibly flavorful, and well-priced. Not your average 3rd Room!!
Great new addition to providence coffee bar scene. Better atmosphere than NitroCart and Seven Stars combined. Well done Sawyers!

Sawyer's Market is an artisanal marketplace, café, and wine bar that is absolutely lovely. The ambiance, food, drinks, and staff are all fantastic, creating a cozy and adorable neighborhood vibe. The space resembles an indoor farmer's market, featuring a bakery case loaded with sweets, potted flowers and greenery for sale, and cabinets stocked with local coffee beans, tea, flour, oats, cookbooks, and spices. A fridge is filled with Rhode Island milk, Maine butter, and fresh rhubarb.
The restaurant introduced a Summer Beach Service, which is a basket for two packed with a choice of two salads or sandwiches, a large house lemonade or iced tea, chips, house pasta salad, cookies, and fresh fruit. Specific sandwiches include Roast Beef, Horseradish, Blue Cheese on Baguette; Avocado, Arugula, Cucumber, Sundried Tomato, Pickled Onion on Multi Grain; Turkey, Bacon, Sundried Tomato on County White; and Mortadella, Mozzarella, Artichoke Pesto on Focaccia. The food is nice, fresh, very filling, and delicious, featuring items like house orzo pasta salad and Douglas Sweets Chocolate Chip Shortbread cookies. The Beach Service is definitely worth it, and the experience is great.
