“These are the best pastries I've had in New England bar none. The cream puffs in particular are stellar. The cream inside isn't the super-light whipped-cream-like item I'm used to having, instead it is a thicker richer cream that is truly delightful. I bought several and gave them out to friends and they got rave reviews across the board. The same can be said for their absolutely amazing Pastel Basco which is probably my favorite from them and *also* got rave reviews across the board. Better than the desserts in the North End of Boston from everyone I asked to try a bite.Parking: There is a small paid lot just a couple of blocks away, it was something like $2 for an hour.“
“AMAZING! I placed an order for 65 waffles for a company event through the Providence location. They were absolutely delicious! The staff loved them! They service was impeccable! I requested they deliver them to our location. Not only were they on time, but Rex placed a call to me prior to heading over. The presentation was perfection. They provided us with plates, forks and napkins as well as some to go boxes. I highly recommend Zinneken's Belgian Waffles! I am an event planner - so I always look for the WOW factor and this had it all! If you are thinking of a creative way to host a party or special event - Order Zinneken's Belgian Waffles and have a Waffle buffet with all the trimmings! Your guests will not be disappointed! Thank you Zinneken's!“
“I visited a cozy cafe in downtown PVD today, and it was a delightful experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with clean and comfortable seating arrangements. The coffee was not only delicious but also reasonably priced, which was a pleasant surprise in comparison to other cafes in the area. Their ice coffee was just $3, and a small latte was only $3.5, offering excellent value for money. Additionally, their dessert selection complemented the drinks perfectly. Overall, it was a fantastic cafe with great ambiance, affordable prices, and delicious treats. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a cozy spot to enjoy a cup of coffee in downtown PVD.“
“I've recently travelled from England to visit a friend in Rhode Island. She purchased one of your cakes as a welcome cake a cute one with bees on it and also some chocolate chip cookies. The cake was absolutely amazing and is by far the best I have ever tasted. The cookies were great too.“
“Trying to be honest here, and the food and coffee are just “OK.” The staff is friendly and the place is cute. If I’m craving something that’s going leave me like “hell yeah that was great,” I’ll go elsewhere downtown, but again, it’s a really cute place and the staff is friendly so definitely worth still stopping in! I was going to give 4 stars but the mediocrity of food *on occasion* is not worth dinging a small business and pushing people elsewhere. It’s still a staple of downtown.“
“First, this place is conveniently located on a strip with many options for food but also window shopping and India point park for a good walk before or after stopping here for a drink and/or snack. I'm not a huge coffee fan but I mostly came for their alternative options such as teas. I ended up getting the small iced chai (16 oz I think) for about $5 and it was delicious. It definitely had the signature chai taste but it wasn't overwhelmingly sweet which was good. I added some cinammon on top. I think they were also good with not adding too much ice. It took a few minutes to get our order but you can tell they were busy with previous orders because of the heavy traffic they get (which is a good thing, people must like their drinks). I also like how you can watch them make your drinks since it's an open "kitchen" environment. The inside is really nice, with plenty of seating and some window seats. They also offer fresh coffee beans to purchase by the pound, from a variety of difference countries and roasts. Parking is a bit tough since it can be a busy street but there are some side streets for more options.“
“Boy, what could I say? The Lemon Cake is bomb here . Nice powder sugar on top with a sweet lemon tang taste. The chocolate muffin cake thingies are good too lol. This was our first time at the Seven Stars Bakery. I was impressed with all of the good sweets here. My fiance will be mad at us, she didn't get to come on my business trip. She love bakery type places. Great staff and owners here. I cant wait to come back again.“
“A very small cafe in east Providence. The food was good but quite expensive honestly. Staff was friendly. They have two vegan options: a brownie and some sort of “cheese” sandwich ( which I had and was really good) I would go againVegetarian options: I am aware of 2 vegan options but there might be more. Plenty of vegetarian options though.Parking: I didn’t find any parking. I ended up parking at India point park.“
“The best neighborhood coffee/sandwich shop I've ever found in my life. If you need a pick-me-up or crave a good sandwich while in Providence, I promise you White Electric is worth it.It also has the perfect blend of caffeinated energy and relaxing ambiance, and the staff all truly act like they actually enjoy their work. I mean that honestly & without a hint of sarcasm. The staff are professional and excel at the art of coffee making but somehow have remained kindhearted, unlike many current barristas (and experts in general, but especially barristas).Rhode Island still struggles in many culinary disciplines, but for anyone visiting this Napolean complex in the form of a colony & state, please know that you will be pleasantly surprised in every imaginable way at White Electric.“
“How have I lived in Providence this long without trying The Nitro Bar. Love the coffee but even better is their breakfast burrito with sausage and sweet potatoes. That along with a friendly staff and cool vibe is all you need to know. Fantastic!“
“Absolutely wonderful atmosphere, service, and food. The cafe is rustic and quaint and genuine. The gentleman in charge was sweet and friendly and gave me the WiFi password without asking. The young lady serving me was lovely and so gracious. Prices are extremely reasonable! I would recommend this place to anyone!“
“My daughter and I were staying at the Graduate Hotel in downtown Providence and we were in desperate need of a good place for cappucino and a some food before returning home. Bolt Coffee was a short block walk from the hotel and smack beside the Biltmore Garage where we were parked. It was so cold and windy we were tempted to resort to a drive thru but I'm SO happy that we pushed through and went in. The atmosphere was bright, warm, and welcoming. We ordered an iced caramel cappucino and a hot cappucino, the Breakfast Sandwich and a Ham & Cheese croissant. The wait staff was excellent and the food was so fresh! We decided to stay and eat there and split the sandwiches. They were both delicious! My cappucino was a work of art and made me smile...sometimes it's just those simple touches that make your experience. We will definitely go back to Providence soon and Bolt will be the first stop on our list.“
“In the pink is a wonderful new addition to Providence. The menu has something for everyone. All of the food and products are fresh and delicious. The staff is welcoming, friendly and very knowledgeable. They have something for anytime of day/night or just a quick pick me up snack. Highly recommend if you are in the “
“Came here for a classic Sunday breakfast. Everything on the menu looks amazing but I was a little hungrier than usual. So I got the legend burger and it was filling and delicious. With the perfectly crispy fries and the mango mania smooth, I was satiated. I really like how the burger had sweet and savory flavors instead of it being just salty the hash brown and runny egg inside made it the ultimate breakfast burger. I also tried the chive on sandwich with sausage and the two eggs inside were nicely scrambled with chives. But I liked the burger better.Overall, it was a great Sunday morning brunch after a night out. I would suggest you get there early because the wait times take about 30-60 mins. Or order ahead and pick up.“
“I wish I could give Sin Bakery 6 or 7 stars! We have been getting our family's special occasion cakes there for the past decade and every time we are thrilled with how spectacular and incredibly delicious they are. The staff are so kind and talented. I truly can't recommend them highly enough!“
“They’re always hosting new and trendy events, which lets college kids go out and have fun doing something that won’t destroy their liver. I love the specialty teas, and I always stop by to check out the seasonal and holiday teas! Not to mention the donuts are so cute and the flavors are really creativeDietary restrictions: You have complete control over sugar levels, add ons, and extra ingredients!“
“Seven Stars BakerySeven Stars Bakery is a beloved local gem, renowned for its artisanal breads, pastries, and coffee. With a commitment to quality ingredients and traditional baking methods, each item is crafted with care and attention to detail. From crusty baguettes to buttery croissants and decadent cakes, the bakery offers a delightful array of treats for every palate. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff create a welcoming ambiance for patrons to enjoy.“
“There’s some foods I don’t like to buy because I can make them myself with cookies being one of them but oh my gosh these are the best cookies I’ve ever had! They’re cooked perfectly with the inside of the cookie being soft and gooey and they don’t get rock hard after a day or so. The best cookie was the funfeti and monthly special which was apple cider! The chocolate chip cookie and chocolate peanut butter are also amazing. You really can’t go wrong with any cookie you get“
“Aroma Joe's is located on the busy Thayer street. The store is very inviting and spacious. There are so many different drinks and different flavors at Aroma Joe's.There are options for 16 oz, 20 oz, 24 oz, and 32 oz and you can choose hot or iced.I ordered a hot mocha 24 oz with white chocolate flavor. It was tasty. I can't wait to come back and try their other drinks.“
“Came here for breakfast and I was amazed. I got the bolo sandwich and it was delicious! Also the BEST cold brew I've ever had. The cherry on top is the staff- Hanna is so sweet and has great customer service. Such a cute cafe! If you're ever in the area you need to go to Sydney!“
“I ordered a large iced coffee and a piece of walnut banana bread. The BANANA BREAD WAS AMAZING!!!!!! The coffee also was great! A great vibe for some studying or a solo hangout. Also a great spot to meet some friends and catch up. The barista who helped me was absolutely incredible. It was my first time and I didn’t feel rushed or anything, like I do in other coffee shops! The vibe was very laid back. I will gladly shop here instead of Starbucks!“
“This is the cutest cafe ever! It operates the Providence River Boat Company tours and has a nifty little gift shop as well. I love the vibes all around and the bathroom is cute too. The cashiers are also very nice and helped us get a last-minute boat tour!“
“Cafe Choklad's takeout experience delivered on all fronts. The ambiance I sensed while picking up my order was cozy and inviting. The decor exuded warmth with its rustic furniture and soft lighting. The process from placing my order to receiving it was seamless and swift, with the staff ensuring I had everything I needed for an enjoyable meal. Finally, the meal, the turkey and brie sandwich. The combination of tender turkey, creamy Brie, crisp lettuce served on cranberry pecan bread was delicious. It's safe to say that I'll be returning to try more of the menu in the near future!“
“I thought it was a very friendly and joyful place. Great goodies to eat and the coffee is out of this world! It’s an “any-time” stop by place! Enjoy.Wheelchair accessibility: Ground level to enter in and great little outdoor section too.“
“Solid coffee. Some unsolicited advice - you need to rearrange the tables in a more ergonomic way. There are too many tables that are too tightly packed near the “pick up” zone and it led to some awkward crowding. Either take away one table or move around the whole arrangement to make room for people picking up coffees.“
“As a coffee snob, this place definitely makes the cut! Illy coffee (imagine the best coffees of origin roasted to perfection in a perfect cuppa), freshly made wraps, buttery flaky croissants and danish, and an awesome view and people watching! What’s not to love? I escape suburbia and come here to breathe in the beauty of Providence- the smallest big city in America. Love it. And did I mention Rania is great?“
“First I should say this is more of a food place than a coffeeshop, at least the branch located at Dean Hotel, which is the subject of this review. We ordered breakfast food here, Deviled Eggs and Stewed Beans, you can check the photos and spot their actual photos and ingredients in there. We also got coffee, which was served like a brunch place coffee; however, it tasted much different from a typical American brunch restaurant coffee.Overall, if you’re looking for an actual coffeeshop with a variety of coffee drinks, this location is not yours. If you’re looking for experimental brunch menus, this is a nice place to try. As seen in the menu you won’t find typical American brunch menu items.Last but not least, this building used to be a church, which was converted to a night club (or something like that), and now it is a hotel and this coffeeshop is in its first floor.“
“The area is quite nice and outdoor seating really gives the coffee house vibes,Parking: There are about 10 spots in the connected lot, if that's full there's street paid parking and some potentially free spots on a side street, good luck with those though.“
“Had a small scoop of coffee ice cream in a waffle cone and my wife had a small scoop of monkey business in a cup . Monkey business was banana ice cream with chocolate chip. Very creamy with a strong banana taste . The coffee ice cream was also very creamy and had a nice coffee flavor. I also liked that the waffle cone wasn't huge and that a small scoop was small. The prices were very reasonable it was my ice cream with the waffle cone was around 5 dollars and the small cup in the cup was around 4 dollars . Service was also very fast , considering they were very busy and crowded!“
“Amazing customer service. I love the organic Peru dark roast regular and decaf. I tried a flavored coffee and had a unsatisfying experience. When I emailed my complaint, I got an immediate response and they sent me a replacement of my favorite coffee almost overnight. When it comes to decaf, I will only drink their organic Peru dark roast decaf. Perfection in a cup.“
“3/10/2020 A young lady in the drive thru around 12:15pm today who made my coffee was so polite and helpful! I gave her some confusing instructions on how to make this new style of coffee I decided to try and it came out a bit differently than I thought. (Med. Iced mocha, not too much mocha, xx, with coconut and almond pumps) She remade it for me even though it was technically what I asked for! She altered it just slightly with a little more mocha and it came out perfectly! Now that is the type of customer service that any company wants, an employee that strives for the best and goes above and beyond! ✨ I didn't catch your name today, but you'll know it's you when you get to see this. Stay positive just the way you are and you will have great success! Thank you ?✨“
“Super packed the day that I went, but somehow it was the calmest Starbucks I’ve ever been to. This location seems perfectly staffed, and I love that the baristas don’t yell out names while people are studying. The warm moody lighting makes it a perfect addition to campus. Cutest Starbucks I’ve ever been to.Also!! Every time I see the lavender matcha it’s always gray and ugly and the cold foam ends up as a really thin layer. But at this location it was vibrant and had the perfect consistency! I love when baristas love to make drinks and do their best to make it work. With this particular drink it’s not realistic to expect this outcome every time, but I really appreciate the innovative approach that went into making the presentation as good as possible ?“
“Would recommend this place to anybody. Can’t say anything other than that Pearl Street Cafe is the best catering service I have ever used. Such great food, great service, and so convenient. As a rep that often needs catering in the mornings for offices, I truly don’t know what I would do without their help and service here. Always on time and never disappoints. Great all around!“
“Love this place since all drinks are made with Lactaid (lactose-free) milk. I got the almond milk tea with bubbles @ 30% sugar. Service was nice and quick, and the boba was cooked perfectly. Nice relatively atmosphere for studying as wellDietary restrictions: Good for lactose-free“
“I went to several businesses around where I live and the iced coffee is hit or miss. Today in particular I went to two places and the iced coffee was just absolutely garbage. One place the ice coffee tasted old, other one had a very strange taste. I drove down to Coffee Connection and they never miss. The ice coffee today was just as perfect as it always is. I just wish it was closer to my house. The staff is always very polite. 5 Stars!!!!!“
“This delightful cafe in Wayland Square has become my morning go to for delicious pastries, quiches, and one of my favorite London Fog lattes. Many lattes aren't frothy enough when made with almond milk but theirs is just perfect. Their selection of pastries is always delicious but may I suggest the pecan pastry, it's honestly one of the best I've ever had. The space is always clean and they have the best and largest patio in Providence when the weather is nice. There is also a cold fridge for quick to go items and other miscellaneous food items that are fun to try. I think they deserve the five stars and I'm careful to give them out only when they're earned! Well done!“
“Mohamed was a great host. He served us a delicious Moroccan tea that reminds me of my childhood in Sale, Morocco ??. Mohamed gave us Humus and pita bread on the house. Mohamed is a Moroccan who has a pride in what he does!We were so happy. The environment makes one feels at home. I am definitely coming back with my all family in May to have a full Moroccan meal!Thank you Mohamed and Salma for your great service!Vive le Maroc ??“
“Cute little coffee shop in the same building as Farm Fresh RI. They have an entrance from the building as well as an outside entrance facing Sims Ave. The inside area is not too big, maybe 10 table and some stools by the counter. The patio area is a bit larger, with nice benches and sun umbrellas. My husband got an iced coffee and it was well priced and delicious. The staff was very busy when we were there, so be patient when you visit at peak times. The store offers classes for people wanting to learn more about coffee and its preparation and they sell wholesale as well as retail.“
“My sister was getting married in Providence on 12/2. We were staying at the Graduate and the wedding party was getting ready there. I reached out to the café owner, Shana late to request catering. She kindly stated she was able to offer what she had on the café menu. I ordered coffee, decaf coffee, breakfast sandwiches and parfaits. Everything was fantastic. The breakfast sandwich was one of the best I've had. They delivered on time and made sure we had everything we needed.I had asked the hotel for an ice bucket, but they didn't have one except for the small square cup for ice in the rooms. I asked the café if they had one and the gentleman working was kind enough to go check the restaurant to see if they had one and delivered! All in all food was delicious and I was most impressed by the customer service. Thank you!“
“Lasalle Bakery has my favorite iced chai. It's delicious. Great bakery with consistently good service. There's lots of pastries, breads, sandwiches, and cakes. There's seating inside and in the warmer weather there are also some outside tables. This location also has a good-sized parking lot.“
“Think of all the omelets you have been served. When was the last time you took a bite and said, "Wow. Amazing flavor!"? Even the plain grilled spinach side was a revelation. I don't know when I have ever gotten so much marvelous flavor out of a diner lunch. Completely reset my expectations. And the service was fast, friendly, efficient, projecting the vibe of actually caring about you. Absolutely the place to go back to when looking for the diner experience.“
“Love Dunkin' on Gano St! I go there almost every week after work for my go-to order of two sesame bagels just sliced, not toasted. Their sesame seed bagels are unmatched! No other Dunkin' in RI even comes close when it comes to them! Always so soft and covered in sesame seeds and always tastes fresh no matter what time of the day it is!“
“Looking for well-balanced exotic coffee drinks?! You are looking at the right place! You can find many well-crafted coffee based drinks with a wide variety of flavors in a nice ambiance.I wish the open hours were longer though.Highly recommended!“
