“This was my first visit and immediately you can tell the staff is very friendly. The iced coffee with macadamia nut milk was very good. Even better, the bacon egg and cheese breakfast was a 10/10. I wish I got his name, but I could tell that the handsome young man with the brown hair and glasses who made our lattes really cares about producing high-quality drinks and takes his role seriously as a barista. “10/10 would recommend! I’ll be back!! I got a vermonster sandwich and a shark bite lemonade but I switched out the cotton candy flavor for blackberry. It cost me $10.16 which is first off so cheap for what I got! The girl up front was so sweet and helpful! The lemonade was good, sweet but still tasted light and , even the cherry syrup wasn’t overpowering with sweetness! The sandwich was amazing too! All the ingredients were high quality from the perfectly cooked egg to the cheese and crispy bacon which was not skimped on! The aesthetic on top of it made it an amazing visit!

We had the maple sea salt latte (1 iced, 1 hot with oat milk), breakfast wrap and chorizo & salsa verde wrap. Amazing flavors in everything and made our lazy morning perfect. We’ve already decided it’s our go to place whenever we’re anywhere near Providence. We may even take a detour! It was that good 😊“

“Popped into this café this morning with my family and was pleasantly surprised at their selection of croissants available. Giant gourmet croissants. I had the pistachio croissant and the filling was absolutely delectable, very nice texture and not too sweet. My husband had the chocolate croissant and he said it was delicious. Our little one loved the matcha cookie. My favorite was their iced matcha with almond milk, very nice that they offered matcha! The owner was very kind and you can tell the staff really values their customers’ experience.“

“I went here three times during my five day visit to Providence. Such a charming coffee shop on a quiet New England street. It’s converted from an old house with big windows with a shoe shining service theme indoors, inducing an old school, nostalgic yet trendy flare. The lattes are spectacular and come with a chocolate coin wrapped in gold paper. I bought one of their candles as a last minute gift and they wrapped it for me for no extra charge.“

“Cafe Tempo has the best bagels and cream cheese I have ever had. Their selection is big and they’re usually well stocked through the morning. Very reasonably priced, especially comparing the quality to chains. The drive through wait can be longer than it looks, but always worth it. If you’re in a rush you can order ahead or go inside. If you get multiple sandwiches, just double check them before you leave the restaurant as we’ve had a few mix ups during busy lunch hours but always very pleased with the quality and whatever we get regardless! A few spots inside and outside to eat or you can sit at their bar inside if you just want a quick bite, but for conversations their patio is your best bet. Also, their bakery selection inside is a must try! Between the danishes and the bagged lemon cookies, you really can’t go wrong.“
