“Today was me and my wife’s first time going to Olneyville New York System in Providence and we were both in awe while we were there and we kept talking about it how awesome it was after we left. Not only were the wieners excellent but the fries are some of the best we’ve ever had. Gotta get the coffee milk to go with the wieners, it is delicious. Most importantly, I want to give a shoutout to the crew that was working today. You all made us feel so welcome along with being super nice and accommodating to us. All I can say is that we will be back not only for the excellent food but for the atmosphere itself. We’ll be looking forward to seeing you all again. Have a great day !“

He made the whole evening a success by guiding me with food choices and seating arrangement. Our server was excellent. She was extremely attentive to our guests. This will be my go-to restaurant. I only got pics of our appetizers as we were hungry and chowed on our mani courses. Started with a 1930 DAQ, Wawtuhmelon and a Vino Rosso Gaio - all drinks were tasty! We started with the Truffle fries and the Crispy Duck Meatballs- oh my both were great! The flavor in the Duck meatballs was amazing! The sweet chili glaze just hits it out of the park! On to dinner I ordered the Steak Frites - excellent flavor and cooked perfect! Wife ordered the Chicken Picatta - very tasty with a great lemon flavor! Daughter ordered the Pink Vodka - also really flavorful with interesting noodles I had not had before. Thank you for a great experience- we shall be back! Thanks Chef Max!“

“If you are looking for affordable, tasty food and great portions? This is the spot! I walked in and was immediately greeted by the man behind the counter. I had a lot of questions and he answered them kindly and informed about so many items on the menu. There is an option for everybody! They have a good amount of high chairs where you can sit and eat. I ordered the shrimp pad Thai; it was fresh, hot and had a nice kick to it. For a drink, I ordered the strawberry passion fruit slush with lychee jelly. So good! I cannot wait to return!“

“Traditional, authentic atmosphere and cuisine. Slow cooked layers of flavor for classics like boeuf bourguignon, duck roasted and confit, brained lamb shank. Traditional apps of escargot and a mushroom soup by the in-house mushroom expert.
The only thing untraditional about this French gem is the service, which is far more friendly than I'm used to in a French establishment, and the size of the portion which is definitely more American than French. Other than that, you will be transported to The French countryside during your meal“

“had a really good first visit. we were craving halal burgers and this delivered. we got the double cheeseburger with halal beef bacon, no ketchup. they need to carry mustard in the store lol but other than that, this was delicious. it takes a little longer because it's made to order but they grill the bread and patty and chop the bacon finely and then add the vegetables. their pickles are really good. we got the pakora fries and they were a nice change from regular fries. the inside was so clean and has single lock restrooms. and the servers were so helpful for a takeout casual spot like this one. on my way back for the golden balance shawarma soon.“

I'm not a fan of drinking establishments that allow children. There were a lot of babies and toddlers in the house with drinking parents. Also toddlers were climbing on furniture unsupervised. If you are planning on an adult experience without kids or babies, this isn't the place.“

“Never a let down. I make it a point to stop in every time Im in town for work. The food never disappoints. Introduced to my first “stuffy”. I have never had to wait to be seated, food comes out timely and perfect temperature. Im making it a point to try as much as I can on the menu and enjoy my iced tea with simple syrup. Have had a great time going here with the World Cup being on and they always choose the best game to play and the place is always packed. The tequila cocktail and the vermouth were excellent and they offer 3 sizes of wine from a small glass to a bottle at reasonable prices. Don’t skip the chicken empanada. It may be the best one in prov. Overall a gem for the neighborhood and well worth a date night jaunt from out of town.“

“I have been coming to Dairy King since the late 90s and it’s my favorite ice cream shop in Providence. They now allow credit card payments and have updated their exterior with new decor and more seating areas. Prices are very reasonable and the milkshakes are some of the best around.“

“My husband and I went for the first time on Saturday and sat at the bar. We ordered apps and cocktails and of course oysters. Best oysters in RI by far believe it or not. Drinks were ok but food fabulous! Would have given 5 stars if not for the bartender. She focused solely on my husband the entire time even gave him a free drink. It was very obvious and blatant disrespect to me. My husband even commented on feeling uncomfortable. As a former bartender the general rule is to pay more attention to the wife than the husband out of respect but also because most often the wife is writing the tip. We will for sure be going back but will sit at a table and maybe only order sparkling water.“
