Their barista-crafted beverages change with the season, and have a creative spin to seasonal classics. Not to mention they have a great lunch menu in a cozy environment. “Family run atmosphere with the best service I have experienced in a long time. The restaurant gives off “your mommas home kitchen” vibe with the friendliest, kindest, and caring staff. Our server stayed and talked with us about life and my wife and I (From Florida) felt right at home. The food was amazing! Scrambled eggs were super creamy (I had cheese mixed in with mine), pancakes were cooked to perfection, my wife’s French toast was amazing! “TOP TIER Chinese food! They have the best rangoons besides one other spot I go to which is in Providence . Hands down BEST CHINESE in Warwick and beyond respectively.

Their rice is good, their chicken fingers are SO good, and their LO MEIN is second best in the state in my opinion. Here’s the most important thing for me with Chinese food, their DUCK sauce is BOMB. It’s house made you can tell and it HITS every time!

One thing I wish they made, was scallion pancakes !! I know they would hit it out of the park if they did!

“Drive past this Pizza institution all the time. Decided to order and have it delivered. Ordered a large pie with onions, broccoli and pepperoni with a side of B-B-Q wings. It was all FANTASTIC!! Kids loved the wings, meaty and saucy. I loved the thick crust pizza, crispy and not tough. Hard part was divvying up 8 slices for 3 people... Hey Pete, can you cut 9 slices next time??? LOL All in all, it was a great dinner solution!!“

“I am not one to write reviews but my service was exceptional and brightened my day. Completely blown away by the friendly and professional demeanor all too uncommon in fast casual counter service. I didn’t catch her name, but she was fantastic.“

“Delicious food and genuinely great service! I ordered two Walt Jrs., and both were incredibly tender—melt-in-your-mouth good. I also got fries that looked fresh and delicious, but honestly, the sandwiches were so good that I completely forgot I had fries and never even touched them.

The service was just as impressive. The cashier greeted me as soon as I walked in and was quick and friendly taking my order. I could see the kitchen staff start making it almost immediately. There were two or three people working in the kitchen and, since there weren’t other orders at the time, they all jumped in together to get mine completed. That may seem like a small thing, but as someone who works in food service, I notice it. It shows good training and a team that is paying attention to the guest in front of them.

I do want to mention one issue, mainly because I hope it reaches whoever is responsible for the building itself. There was a very strong and unpleasant smell inside the restaurant. I normally use the drive-thru, so this was my first time actually going inside, and the odor was strong enough that I noticed it immediately.

I saw another review mention a sewer-like smell, but that wasn’t what it smelled like to me. I honestly couldn’t identify it—it reminded me more of damp or deteriorating wood/building materials than anything coming from the restaurant itself. I even looked around before ordering because the smell initially made me concerned about cleanliness, but the restaurant, kitchen area, and equipment that I could see all appeared clean and well maintained.

That’s why I don’t think it’s fair to hold the Walt’s staff responsible for it. I’ve worked in businesses where the tenant had building or property issues that were ultimately the landlord/property owner’s responsibility, and this struck me as something along those lines. I’m mentioning it because the odor is strong enough that I think it deserves attention and could definitely affect a customer’s first impression of the restaurant.

Most importantly, I’m glad I stayed and ordered. The food was excellent, the staff was great, and I had absolutely no issues with my meal afterward. In fact, I’m planning to go back today—I’ll just be using the drive-thru this time!

Five stars for the food and the team. I just hope someone can figure out what’s causing the smell inside, because the staff and the food deserve an environment that matches the quality of the experience they’re providing.“

“Typically very good service...however, when you spill a Venti HOT latte on a person...don't say its NOT your fault you just pass out the drinks. WTF...how about give me my order for free. I'm covered in hot sticky coffee, my phone got hit, my car is covered in sticky coffee...all because someone couldn't put a lid on correctly? Thanks for ruining my morning.“

“This is one of my favorites for Chinese food. They’re always friendly and they’re one of the few Chinese food places that actually let you swap things out when ordering a meal. I don’t eat rice but every other place I’ve ordered from when you get a combo. They don’t swap out the rice for anything this place will swap out my rice for chicken fingers. I love it. Food is always hot in a scorpion. Bowls are great!!“
