Most servers we've dealt with at other restaurants feel like we are being a bother if we need something. “First time in. Monday night special is quite the deal! Food tasted excellent and portions are large. I was able to take home plenty of food and my unfinished bottle of wine. We did feel a bit rushed. Not only to place our order but appetizers and salads were served at the same time to our small table. We were asked multiple times if we were done with courses when we had forks in our hands. Because the food was delicious and very well prepared we’ll give it another try and hope for a better service experience.“

Flavors are on point, and the menu is varied enough to appeal to vegetarians and not. In addition to excellent food, they serve beer and sake to go with your meal. This is a restaurant that you should visit.“

“I've been ordering from calista pizza for a while now and every time I order from them everything is very good. My favorite is meatballs and I just ordered a pizza with spinach olives and pepperoni and it was phenomenal if I could give them a 10 I would but I give them the top rating“

“Always great sandwiches. The real deal NYC deli. Today on the specials board was a Nashville hot chicken sandwich. Sweet and very spicy. I loved it. Lots of pickles. And a thick coating of the sauce. Probably the best one I have had. And as usual excellent onion rings.“

“After a disappointing experience at another bar/restaurant just down the street earlier in the evening—where we ended up leaving without even being served—we decided to change course and stopped into this bar/tapas lounge. I’m so glad we did.

“What a fantastic dining experience my family had tonight. Cocktails were superb, my rare tuna tacos were not only the best tacos I’ve ever eaten, it was one of the top 3 meals I’ve ever had. My wife had the rib eye melt which was equally as delicious, and my daughter loved her Mac & cheese and green beans. I started with white chowder which is typically good no matter where you get it in New England, but there’s was excellent. As good as the food was, it was the service from Alexa that made it so memorable. She was friendly and accommodating like any server would or should be, but she went beyond that making us feel like friends and family. Extra kudos to her for being a superstar. All in all, this was a 10+ dining experience even though the best is 5. Back 40 and their sister restaurants are all the best that RI has to offer.“

“Drive past this Pizza institution all the time. Decided to order and have it delivered. Ordered a large pie with onions, broccoli and pepperoni with a side of B-B-Q wings. It was all FANTASTIC!! Kids loved the wings, meaty and saucy. I loved the thick crust pizza, crispy and not tough. Hard part was divvying up 8 slices for 3 people... Hey Pete, can you cut 9 slices next time??? LOL All in all, it was a great dinner solution!!“
