“Came here to celebrate a friends birthday! Tried to mussels, the calamari, the tuna roll, salmon burger, cucumber lemon drink (and pear drink).. and then the ice cream cookie dessert. Wow!! Just wow!! Lighting was incredible and was there for the sunset!! Place was popping with activity and service was highly attentive!“
“I got the pulled pork tacos and they were so good!!! We also shared the chips and salsa and I loved the chunky salsa. Nice restaurant, sat at the bar so service could have been a little better. The taco Tuesday deal is pretty good as well. Will be coming back.“
“I went there for my birthday. The chef wrote me a card which was so thoughtful. We got the white bean and focaccia bread. This was soooo tasty. For dinner, I had the crab cake and eggplant. My partner who is not a vegan enjoyed the food as well. The staff was so great as well. I would definitely recommend and return.“
“Ok, you want a great burger? Be prepared to take a bath afterwards. And that's not a bad thing. I had the juiciest, most tasteful burger I've had in ages. I regret I didn't take a picture, but when I took the first bite, I didn't stop. Had the special maple bacon cheese burger. Our waiter was great, upbeat and personable, and the place is clean! The only thing I have a problem with is the loudness, but it's a bar and grille. It's what you'd expect. Won't stop me from visiting again!“
“Shout out to Ivy and Mandy who made the four of us feel welcome as walk-in this evening. We are doing a Girls Weekend in Little Compton and after a day of shopping in Newport, needed some sustenance. Jade was our awesome server and had great recommendations and went that extra bit to make our meal special. All our entrees were terrific (salmon, swordfish, steak frites and mussels). Thank you!!!“
“This spot is super cute. If I lived in Warren or surrounding area - I would want to be doing all the things here. It's small, but doesn't feel it. The bar is great - excellent selection. I watched the owner making a few tests last night (I'm assuming by the taste testing and the picture taking) and I almost ordered whatever it was (old fashioned I believe) because it looked good (yea I know it's not much to it) and carefully crafted. I got a hot toddy - and honestly I wish I had just asked for it with water and not the ginger tea - but otherwise good. And I'm always happy to be able to get a hot toddy on a cold rainy or snowy night. Seeing "hot drinks" was an exciting moment when I walked in. The poetry open mic had such a great turnout. And the comedy show I went to pre Covid was also solid. Worth the drive from Providence for sure. I'm looking forward to going back! There was a free play arcade game by the bathroom. That was fun.“
“Love it here. There’s indoor and outdoor seating (include bar stools). Very cozy in some areas indoor. The backyard has plush and well maintained lawn. Loved that this outdoor space is child-friendly. They host events here on weekends so I can imagine, the space fills up quickly. I stopped by for breakfast on a weekday and there was a line to order food and drinks, but the service was effortless and quick. Food was tasty. The one thing I will point out is the smoothies are not made of fresh fruit/veggies, I was bummed by that. They use flavored concentrates. Parking in the front is limited, but there is a sign pointing to extra parking toward the back.“
“Ok so who knew Warren, RI had so many AMAZING food spots? I can't wait for my next visit to this cute little New England town. Most recently I had the pleasure of dining at Revival through a recommendation from a close friend and MAN! this place did not disappoint. The inside is cozy and welcoming, the service was speedy and friendly and the food selection was incredible. I also love a place that has specials - my mother in law enjoyed the short rib pappardelle. My first time having Osso Bucco and OMG - I need it again and again. Cocktails weren't half bad either, I'd love to return for a more casual snack and drink.“
“This place is awesome! Went here the first time a couple weeks ago on date night. So good. The waitstaff is so sweet and the restaurant is so lovely inside—so colorful and full of life!We had enchiladas, tacos, and burritos. I had a couple yummy cocktails—great!“
“So, my girlfriend, and I wanted to try some new places that we have not been to. The food was very different, and eclectic. We tried the General Tso's Cauliflower, which was very good. Lots of flavor, and like the fact that it's a vegetable. Something different. For my entrée I had the Mozambique Mac & Cheese. It was two different flavors poured into one dish. Bravo!!! The only issue we had was that there parking lot was really small, but that will not stop us from going back. We will be back.“
“We were expecting a small space with basic sandwiches and wraps. We were pleasantly surprised at the beautiful dining room and full bar. Our family ended up having a beautiful dinner - braised short ribs for my wide, steak fries for myself, tempura chicken and flatbread pizza for the kids. We will definitely be back!“
“I am telling you that if you want the best tacos on Tuesday and wings on Wednesday in Bristol, RI you have to go to the Wood St. Cafe and while there enjoy a cold beer with Sabby the friendlly owner or Mary Lou at this cozy bar. I highly recommend this establishment with their family atmosphere.“
“I love everything about McCray's!!! I read other reviews but I could not relate to "any of them." I was just there last week and ordered $100.00 worth of food, everything was delicious ? I do agree with the one review! Those Devil Dog Mud Slides "ARE THE ? BOMB!" You really can actually taste the liquor! My only complaint is: "I wish you were open EVERY DAY of the week ALL YEAR LONG! Kudos to you and your staff!! I'll see you next season! ??“
“Bottom line: a delightful French bistro with absolutely delicious food, a casual, cozy vibe, and an excellent value. Something different in the East Bay. An underappreciated gem. We’ve been going to Le Central for a few years and recently rediscovered just how good it is. The vibe is French bistro, complete with black and white checkerboard floors. It’s casual, relaxed, and cozy. It feels like French comfort food. The menu is thoughtful and amazing for how truly delicious the offerings are. It’s a ‘who’s who’ of some of the best French dishes, without pretense or weirdness (no snails or frogs legs). Starting with the table bread, half of a baguette, perfectly toasted and partly sliced, with soft butter and some olives on the side. The onion soup is full of melted Guryere cheese, caramelized onions, rich beef stock, and toasted baguette slices, served in a ramekin. It’s perfect and utterly irresistible. Pair it with a salad and it’s a meal. The Salad Nicoise has perfectly cooked green beans, roasted fingerling potatoes with butter and parsley, roasted red peppers, a bed of arugula, a nice filet of perfectly poached salmon, and a mouth-watering lemon-caper compote. It’s hearty enough as a main course for lunch or dinner, and is deliciously satisfying (and I’m not usually a salad person). The hamburger might be one of the best you’ll have. A hand formed patty of organic beef on a toasted Brioche bun, served simply with tomato and lettuce, cheese (cheddar, Guryere, or Roquefort) and applewood smoked bacon optional, and a side of ultra-thin and super-crisp potato frites (too good to be called mere ‘French fries’). We love burgers, and both think this is hands-down the best we’ve had in the area (it’s the spiritual opposite of Chomp burgers which are excellent in their own right but very different with many heavy, spicy additives that make for a ‘wet’ burger). Le Central’s hamburger stands on its own simply with the highest quality ingredients prepared perfectly (like the rest of the food).Coq au Vin (chicken with wine) was a revelation. A half of a Cornish game hen (breast, leg, and thigh), braised in burgundy wine, served in a crock brimming with mushrooms, sauteed onions, and bacon, in a rich, thick, velvety stock, and a side of roasted fingerling potatoes. Just the smell made my mouth water before even taking the first bite! It was heavenly, deeply satisfying, and very hearty and filling. There are always some specials, often including an omelet. Recently we’ve had asparagus and brie, and mushroom and Guryere, variations. They were spectacular, served with a side of potato frites. They turn brunch into a special experience and feel decadent despite the modest price. They offer a full brunch menu that looks yummy, though we haven’t (yet!) tried it.Desserts are homemade. Our favorite are the Rochers (“rocks”), chocolates like turtles. Dark chocolate filled with the specialty of the day, various nuts and fruits. Order at least one if you’re stuffed and don’t think you can fit in anything else, but a plate of 4 goes down easily with tea.The drink list is massive. In the spirit of a French bar there are dozens and dozens of liquors of every kind. A nice offering of about 20 wines (French of course), every one we’ve ever had has been a winner. Some beers, and even several ciders, apple and pear varieties, from Normandy! This area has tons of typical bars/pubs/taverns, seemingly one on every block, along with Portuguese (Portuguese-ish) and Italian restaurants. Le Central stands out, both for being unique in offering a great selection of the best of the best of French foods, and for the amazingly high quality and reasonable prices. It’s one of the great, underappreciated secret gems of the East Bay area. If it was in Boston the prices would be more than twice as high and people would be raving about it.We’ve been finding it hard to go more than a week between visits.“
“The Westporter is a cozy little spot in the heart of Westport. With it being winter time, the ambiance is set with a fireplace and soft lighting. Danielle was an amazing bartender and absolutely on point at all times. I did not get a chance to try any food this time, but having attended their catering events in the past, I would imagine that their restaurant food would be just as outstanding as I remember their catering menu to be.“
“Went here on a Thursday for dinner and a beer after work and the place was amazing. Everyone was so nice and I felt like Ive been going here forever. The food came out quick and was so flavorful! The chicken mozambique plate was so good and had a little kick of spice to it. They also had music bingo night at the bar side and everyone was singing along it was such a vibe. They have music bingo every other Thursday. I absolutely recommend here if youre looking for somethkng casual and trying to chill. They have their own parking lot.Parking: They have their own free parking lot.“
“What a find! Was looking for a good restaurant for lunch in Bristol and found Brick, which it seems only recently started opening for lunch. The smell from the road of brick oven pizza lured me in:). The atmosphere is awesome, a big roomy old industrial building that feels almost like a tap room - while it was lunch, I didn't get a chance to dig into the beer list but they have a huge and well appointed bar. Our server, Haley, was friendly, personable, and shared that all the ingredients are local. She even gave us the tip to warm left over pizza up in an air fryer to keep it crisp! Had the pizza of the day, Fig & Prosciutto, and the Shroom pizzas and total amazing-fest. Delicious, thin crispy crust with a sophisticated taste. Without question will be back and happy to recommend Brick to anyone in the area or passing through - try them for lunch as was a light crowd, fast service, and selfishly I want them to stay open for lunch forever!“
“I was visiting my son from Florida so we ended up up going out for dinner place is super clean waiters was very attentive and polite they check on us every 15 minutes to ensure everything was good love the presentation on the plates small rice portion still was good steak was good just a little cold at the end the waiter offer tequila on the house that really was a nice touch I'll be back in town soon and visit this place again thank you all“
“Localz is a good meal at a fair price. They don't take reservations and aren't on open table, that's a bit of a downer, but overall you can't go wrong here. Try the corn and bacon dip as an appetizer.Parking: The parking is somewhat limited and you may have to park along the guard rail on the road.“
“We love it here, the food is delicious except they put way too much salt on their home fries. The staff is wonderful too. The only thing is they charge you $2.50 for butter which most other restaurants don't charge anything. Overall a lovely place.“
“Amazing place very tasty . Awesome waitstaff. I have never been there it was my first time and by far one of the best places I went to. The oysters were the best also. The whole thing was a great experience from beginning to end... definitely will be back... 10 ?“
“Food was good. Prices have gone up considerably. They charge a transaction fee on top of that. Apparently, this is for credit card customers, but if you don't see it and pay cash on the table, it gets charged anyway. Not a good business practice.“
“I've spent a fair amount of time living in the South, and with that came a taste for good BBQ. When I moved back to New England I missed being able to find BBQ on ever corner. And whenever I did find a spot the food was marginal at best. When I heard Dunny's was bringing BBQ to their place I can't say that I was excited about it, the years of let down didn't have me with high expectations. Well last night we decided to give it a shot. The food was absolutely perfect! I ordered a combo plate that consisted of (2) ribs, pulled chicken and brisket. Included were two sides, I chose Mac & cheese and fries. Also standard meals come with slaw and cornbread. We sat at the bar, service was prompt and friendly. The food came to us being halfway thru our drinks. We were offered three different choices for BBQ sauces, we asked for all three. The food arrived hot and the bartender provided us with extra napkins.... it's BBQ! Everything on my plate was very tasty and cooked perfectly. I've experienced places that do one or two items great, but then ruin the meal with something so far off base it was disappointing. One of the signs of well smoked and cooked ribs is "fall off the bone. Well I picked up the first rib and was left holding just the bone. Honest to God the meat remained on the plate! The texture and taste was that of what you'd eat in rural North Carolina. The pulled chicken was a first for me. Basically breast meat shredded simmered in a unique BBQ sauce, it was really good. The brisket was three generous slices with just enough fat to eat it without trimming it off and loading it with flavor. The brisket is where I tried each sauce, all were good, although the spicy wasn't hot by my standards. The Carolina was spot on tangy and sweet. Fries were really good too, spiced with garlic and maybe chive (?). Cornbread was okay, I'd like to see them add jalapenos. My only suggestion would be to add collard greens to the menu. They do offer beans and my dining partner had them, but I was too full to ever try them.Spot on for an Irish guy bringing Southern BBQ to a neighborhood bar!“
