“We held our wedding reception here after a small private ceremony (months in between). I admittedly had very little to do with the planning (shout out to my wife and mother-in-law) but on the day of, Catherine was great and very helpful. Andrew was our bartender for the night and, although he shared that he was new to the space, he was wonderful.For the actual space and how it worked for our reception (roughly 85-90 attendees), it was amazing. We used the gallery room for dining and the bar room area for additional seating and dancing. It was a little tight in the gallery room with how we set it up (large tables, giving some space for the showcased art as well) and it was a little congested with one doorway between the rooms.I didn't hear of anyone complaining or nitpicking any of the above and I was having too much fun to be worried about it at all. Everybody seemed to have a great time and it worked out so well. “Went there for dinner with a friend last night and had a wonderful time. We were greeted right away and brought to a table. Celina, our waitress, was so friendly and bubbly. Since it was my first time, I asked for her recommendations and she gave great ones. I had the pear martini, which was delicious and refreshing. They had a special which included the appetizer, entree and dessert for a great price. I had the hummus tray, sirloin tip dish and passion fruit dessert. It’s been a while since I’ve gone to a restaurant and was delightfully surprised at how much I enjoyed my entire meal. Delicious food, great ambience, exceptional service, what more can I ask for? “We attended a Maison Ferrand cognac seminar & tasting the other night at Sapphire & it was such a fun & unique experience for us. The staff at Sapphire (Melissa, Marc, & Shiv), as well as the guest bartender (Vannaluck), went above & beyond to make the experience interactive & memorable. We were greeted immediately with a French 75 made with cognac - Did you know that the original French 75 called for cognac, as well as many other classic cocktails? No? Neither did I. The welcome aperitif was a great lil' treat to kick the night off with. We were given a mini charcuterie selection to keep us busy until the main event, which began about 20 minutes after we arrived. Vannaluck talked us through the history & characteristics of cognac. We were given 3 small pours of different cognacs to taste as well as a serendipitous, bonus mini pour at the end. Throughout the night, the kitchen sent out a variety of tapas that UTILIZED COGNAC. Cognac glaze, reduction, brine, etc. Fascinating! I went in knowing next to nothing about cognac & left with a decent understanding of the spirit. I've always wanted to do something like this, & Sapphire made it extremely accessible. It was almost as if the waitress knew when our drinks were almost empty every time. She also had some great recommendations related to the food and drinks. The food - phenomenal. We had the crack fries as an appetizer and it was not only great but the portion large enough that I had trouble finishing my actual meal. And the special - I had the Chicken Benedict. The only thing I can say bad about it was it was so big I couldn’t finish it. Everything about it was perfect - it had a little zing, the cornbread was a perfect alternative to an English Muffin, and the chicken so good. So my compliments to the owner and staff. I don’t see my review from June but I’m sure they remember it and changes were made. To start, the ambiance was moody with dim lighting, eclectic multi-colored arm chairs in a lounge area for cocktails, industrial accents and amazing lighting. The space visually stimulating. I started off with the Banana Maple Old Fashioned and finished with the Spicy Mezcal cocktails, both were crafted, freshly made and garnished beautifully (they were amazing). For an appetizer I selected from the table share, Bacon Burnt Ends with a side of Mac & cheese (cooked to perfection) and was delicious. For my entree I chose the Chicken & Waffles and was so delicious and aromatic with a sweet scent. For dessert, I decided to go savory and wanted to try the pretzels which are freshly made. Everything I tried here was the food experience I was hoping for fresh, quality, crafted. This was a 5-star experience with carefully curated menu offering a variety of dishes for all flavor palates.
