“I can’t believe it took us so long to dine here. This is hands down the best food I’ve had in a very long time. Ambiance 10/10, service 10/10 and food 100/10. The street corn ravioli was out of this world. I also tried the peach & prosciutto bruschetta which was savory & sweet and just sooo good. I kept seeing this Bloody Mary type of cocktail going out so I had to order one. This drink was AMAZING. It was called “Caprese my name” which consisted of vodka, basil, tomato and get this…pasta water! Serve in a martini glass with a little mozzarella ball garnish. The most delicious drink I’ve ever had. This place is amazing and I highly recommend it if you’re in town!!!“

We also had a few cocktails and they were really well prepared and at mixology level presentation and taste. Then there is the service, everyone is attentive, friendly but professional. “Today we made a pilgrimage to Basil Yu’s restaurant, Yagi Noodles. My son happened to see that Basil had become a successful restaurateur while he was watching one of Guy Fieri’s shows. We had become acquainted with Basil when we were all involved with a Boy Scout Troop in Manchester NH. We were disappointed to discover that Basil wasn’t at the restaurant, however we got over it when we found out it was due to a commitment to a fundraiser for the James Beard Foundation. Basil, You weren’t there, but your food is delicious. You get the Merit Badge! You weren’t there, but your staff is spectacular! You get the Merit Badge! We wish you continued success! “Grab a big group of friends and venture over to Newport Craft Brewing. On a nice day, sit on the rooftop patio and play some games while having some drinks and food. On a super hot or cool day, hang out indoors which is also a great spot!

We were a big group of friends (13 total) and this was the perfect casual spot for us. Our group got a variety of drinks- beer and mixed drinks. The feedback was everyone liked their drinks. They also have Wally’s Wieners there for good, which does not disappoint.

So our recommendation is grab some friends, spend a couple hours here adding this stop to your newport itinerary 🍻

“Absolutely great food and service. Dined last Saturday evening with two of our teen and preteen grandchildren. All of us enjoyed our meals and the service was on point. This next point deserves mentioning as it speaks to the culture of the establishment: When my granddaughter became ill (NOT food related), the manager came over immediately to help comfort her… she brought hot tea and took her to more private quarters to relax until her discomfort passed. We were impressed and remain grateful for the compassion and level of care exhibited. We will continue to visit again and again in the future. Many thanks!!!“

She helped create a pleasant environment in which we enjoyed an excellent dinner. It was great that the heating units in the ceiling area were in operation as it was a chilly and overcast time that we were at the open area of the restaurant.“
