“Went to the Coast Guard House for my daughter's birthday a couple of weeks ago. Our server Julie made us feel comfortable like family. She was very attentive taking care of every need we might have. The food was great. I will definitely be back. Hope I get Julie for a server again.“

“I can’t believe it took us so long to dine here. This is hands down the best food I’ve had in a very long time. Ambiance 10/10, service 10/10 and food 100/10. The street corn ravioli was out of this world. I also tried the peach & prosciutto bruschetta which was savory & sweet and just sooo good. I kept seeing this Bloody Mary type of cocktail going out so I had to order one. This drink was AMAZING. It was called “Caprese my name” which consisted of vodka, basil, tomato and get this…pasta water! Serve in a martini glass with a little mozzarella ball garnish. The most delicious drink I’ve ever had. This place is amazing and I highly recommend it if you’re in town!!!“

“Good location with ample seating inside and outside patio. The pizzas we ordered did not disappoint, good quality ingredients and the dough is delicious. We also had a few cocktails and they were really well prepared and at mixology level presentation and taste. Then there is the service, everyone is attentive, friendly but professional. Our server Eliza was the best, she knew all the dishes and cocktails and their ingredients. Thank you for another wonderful dinner in Newport and keep up the great work!“

“Today we made a pilgrimage to Basil Yu’s restaurant, Yagi Noodles. My son happened to see that Basil had become a successful restaurateur while he was watching one of Guy Fieri’s shows. We had become acquainted with Basil when we were all involved with a Boy Scout Troop in Manchester NH. We were disappointed to discover that Basil wasn’t at the restaurant, however we got over it when we found out it was due to a commitment to a fundraiser for the James Beard Foundation. Basil, You weren’t there, but your food is delicious. You get the Merit Badge! You weren’t there, but your staff is spectacular! You get the Merit Badge! We wish you continued success! “I've been for brunch last year and it was amazing! Mixed up days and ended up here for lunch instead, my poor planning, oops.
Noodles are life. Peanut noodles win chicken. Amazing, sweet, lots of ginger, chicken was so tasty.
Other food was the cod sandwich. Just, the thing was giant.
Show stopping star, these fries on that plate are the greatest fries I've ever had and now I have to figure out how to convince my Rhode island born self that I need to make be drive more than once or twice a year. Couldn't stop eating them and that wasn't my plate!“

“I visited for the visit of WEEI morning show. Didnt have access to the full menu because it was early morning but great facility. Greg Hill morning show on WEEI was great and a visit with Jay Leno sitting in and bringing the humor. I will have to come back and check out the full menu.“

“We sat at the bar due to being unable to get a reservation and had a great time. The espresso martinis are incredible and I highly recommend trying the wild mushroom garganelli. Only complaint would be that the entire restaurant is incredibly crowded but it is a popular spot for a reason!“

“Went with my son last week for the first time and had the muscles and chicken wings, both of which were incredible. We brought home the mac and cheese, dumplings and seasonal bread pudding. Everything was fantastic. we agreed it is the best restaurant around. I went again tonight with my husband. We had the friend oyster appetizer special and filet, both of which were incredible. Debbie was our waitress, and she was absolutely fantastic. So friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!“
