“I was there last night and it was packed! The food was excellent and our server, Rowan was amazing. You could tell he was hustling but was always on top of things and never appeared overwhelmed. He was so kind and friendly. He gave us the right amount of attention. He was very attentive. We didn't feel rushed and we never felt as though we were waiting too long either. “Best seafood in Rhode Island! If the line is long, it is worth the wait! We have been going since we moved here in 2020, and have taken multiple out-of-state guests who also love it and always ask to go back! If you have multiple food allergies, like gluten, dairy, and nuts, they are also great at accommodating! I haven’t gotten sick once yet! It was also the first restaurant our August newborn went to in 2022; his current favorite is fried shrimp and fries! Highly recommend Jimmy’s for the food, the iconic Block Island ferry atmosphere, and the hardworking, loving family who are wicked friendly when they aren’t immensely busy. We will be there next month for the first time this year! 🥳“

“Bon Vue was one of our “go to” bars for a couple beers and food, but disappointed recently at being charged $9 for a whalers rise draft on a Thursday afternoon, off season. For a dive bar, that’s excessive.“

“Super nice staff, yummy food, on a deck by the sea. What more can you ask for? Well, for me, I could ask for a vegetarian entre. I chose this restaurant based on an old menu that showed eggplant parmesan. But that was last year’s menu. This year there are none. BUT the cook whipped up pasta primavera for me on request. We had fried pickles, coconut shrimp, beet and arugula salad, the pasta primavera, and a couple of cocktails. All were nicely prepared and delicious. I’ll add photos of the updated menu.“

Honestly, best ive ever had and I grew up in New England. Location is convenient but parking can be tough if they're busy.
