“I came here as they opened, early week for the first time and seemed to have an off experience.

I came back to give it another shot and boy did they make up for it. The fish tacos and pesto pasta were absolutely outstanding. The roof top is a great experience and I could imagine that on a Friday night , it’s a worthwhile experience.“

“This Applebee’s was very clean and comfortable. We were greeted at the door, sat at a booth, and followed by menus immediately. Everything fell in to place and I highly recommend to anyone traveling in this area to not hesitate to if hankering for some eats to stop on in!!“

“We contracted Angles Kitchen to cater the reception following my father's memorial service. I got so many compliments on the food, and I know that several guests sought out John to complement him personally. The service was both professional and warm. We plan on using them again for two events this Summer. Full caveat; they'er a little laid-back, and their were a few times when I got nervous, but in the end...TOTAL professionals (did I mention that the food was prepared on-site?) I give Angels Kitchen my highest recommendation.“

“Visited to see dueling pianos, and what an experience. Beer was cold and fantastic. They also serve wines and infused drinks. Show and atmosphere was amazing, with high energy and exciting vibes all around. They have a nice selection of beer, from hoppy to malty with varying degrees of alcohol content. “Best seafood in Rhode Island! If the line is long, it is worth the wait! We have been going since we moved here in 2020, and have taken multiple out-of-state guests who also love it and always ask to go back! If you have multiple food allergies, like gluten, dairy, and nuts, they are also great at accommodating! I haven’t gotten sick once yet! It was also the first restaurant our August newborn went to in 2022; his current favorite is fried shrimp and fries! Highly recommend Jimmy’s for the food, the iconic Block Island ferry atmosphere, and the hardworking, loving family who are wicked friendly when they aren’t immensely busy. We will be there next month for the first time this year! 🥳“

“My husband and I celebrated our 56th Anniversary at the Chophouse Grill tonight! Our server, Grace, was simply amazing! She was so cheerful and explained the different meals that were of interest to us! We both ordered the
Whiskey Braised Short ribs and they were absolutely delicious!! For dessert we had the scrumptious brownie with ice cream and whipped cream!! So yummy 😋!! Grace put a candle in the dessert and took some photos!!

“What a fantastic dining experience my family had tonight. Cocktails were superb, my rare tuna tacos were not only the best tacos I’ve ever eaten, it was one of the top 3 meals I’ve ever had. My wife had the rib eye melt which was equally as delicious, and my daughter loved her Mac & cheese and green beans. I started with white chowder which is typically good no matter where you get it in New England, but there’s was excellent. As good as the food was, it was the service from Alexa that made it so memorable. She was friendly and accommodating like any server would or should be, but she went beyond that making us feel like friends and family. Extra kudos to her for being a superstar. All in all, this was a 10+ dining experience even though the best is 5. Back 40 and their sister restaurants are all the best that RI has to offer.“

“We stopped in here randomly on our way to the Farmer’s Daughter Fall Festival. It was such a good experience it’s now part of our tradition. Our girls remembered, a year later, how much they enjoyed it. Allie’s has great food and service. And it starts at the top. The owner takes a lot of pride in the place . While we were there he came out and asked everyone if we were enjoying the food. And before I left he shook my hand and remembered who I was (from a year ago). The place is adjacent to a college campus (I went to URI so I found it reminiscing as I drove thru) so you might not think of it for a meal out with your family. But you should. And the prices are really fair for the portions you get. This is a business we need to support. We WILL return. At least once a year and more if possible.“

“Super nice staff, yummy food, on a deck by the sea. What more can you ask for? Well, for me, I could ask for a vegetarian entre. I chose this restaurant based on an old menu that showed eggplant parmesan. But that was last year’s menu. This year there are none. BUT the cook whipped up pasta primavera for me on request. We had fried pickles, coconut shrimp, beet and arugula salad, the pasta primavera, and a couple of cocktails. All were nicely prepared and delicious. I’ll add photos of the updated menu.“

Prices are very reasonable the food is above average and even though it is hard to tell from the outside it has great atmosphere. Live music and nice outside area. With a huge fire pit.

Eaten here numerous times and never had a bad meal.

“The food and cocktails were on point. We had the roasted Brussels sprouts and bacon wrapped scallops for appetizers. The scallops were smaller and lacked a good sear and the bacon lacked a good crisp, but the flavor of the scallops was fresh and sweet. The Brussels sprouts were a good size portion, tender, crisp and flavorful. Three of us had the Chicken Cordon Bleu and found it to be juicy, flavorful and a perfectly done preparation of this dish. I had the beef Wellington and would highly recommend. However, what really set this dinner apart was the absolutely impeccable service. The waitstaff was always right there to refill water glasses, provide fresh plates and cutlery as needed, take orders, etc but never hovered. At the conclusion of the meal, they were quick to bring our bill, quick to pick up payment and provide receipt, yet we never felt rushed to leave. They even refilled our water glasses after we had paid, making us fell welcome to linger and chat. It is rare to experience this level of hospitality outside of Europe and for this reason we will be back and I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to actually dine with friends.“
