“Some of the best food in Jamestown! I love to cook, and I cook A LOT. Angel's is an angel on those nights I am exhausted or just burnt out and don't want to make dinner. My husband and I order takeout from them a few times a month, and would definitely order a lot more often if they were open 7 days a week. My favorite hands down is the Caesar Salad with salmon. Salmon always cooked perfectly with a crispy crust, dressing (on the side) is creamy and delicious. House made croutons add the perfect crunch. Portions are so generous, I have plenty for lunch the next day. My husband usually orders either the chicken milanese, chicken marsala or chicken piccata and all of them are yummy as well. Highly recommend for take out, but order early as they get really busy. The secret is out.“
“First time at Beech. Very enjoyable experience on every front. Got a great seat by the window with a water view for my wife. Martini was excellent (and i'm a fairly harsh judge.) Our server couldn't have been better. She was amused that to her, I sounded like Ray Romano ( I am queens bred after all.). Now all that said - it is offseason. “Went out with some work friends to this cool pub in downtown newport. I would recommend a reservation as this was a Wednesday night and the place was still packed. The staff were receptive and provided excellent service. I never found myself waiting for a fresh drink. The food was suprisingly delicious which is something i dont normally expect from a large and varied menu. The pricing is about normal for the area, so if tourist area prices are not for you it may not be the best option. I will be recommending Brick Alley to friends. And the only reason i will not give 5 stars is i try to reserve that rating for very special exceptions.“

“Had the 2-course lunch special for $22 and everything was delicious. The lobster roll was served hot or cold, pictured is the hot roll with a nice garlic flavor on the bread. Steak in the sandwich was tender and not fatty and the fries are perfect. Service was timely, and serves was informative. Highly recommend trying them out.“

“The Chop House Grill has been our go-to place every week for years. We went again tonight and sat at the bar to eat and interact with James Tsai, our favorite bartender and server. He is a true expert at his job, and is frequently observed training new waitstaff. He gave us perfect service as always. A newer member of the staff is Max, whom we also enjoy dealing with. I wish I was able to take a photo of my breakfast from Mae's Place this morning, but quite frankly- it was so yummy, I gobbled it up without even blinking. A Valentine's Day special, i saw the menu posted on their Instagram with some photos, so I ordered the Bacon and Latke Eggs Benedict with a side of fruit and a cawfee to go. I live about 6-8 minutes away from Mae's, and let me tell you- I drooled the whole ride home. The smell of fresh latkes and coffee swirling around my car, I couldn't wait to tear into that breakfast. It was so good. The eggs were made to my liking, the bacon crunchy, the latkes seasoned and yum.... I had the Malt burger and it was great / cooked perfectly and tasty with bacon, pickled onion jam, mustard aioli, etc - the kitchen knows how to upgrade a burger! Draft Beer selection was impressive - I particularly loved this Pilsner from VT. Waiter was great - and they must make a mean espresso martini - as we saw a lot of them coming out from the bar! “Old Mountain Lanes is a hidden gem in southern Rhode Island. We had an outing there for a parks association meeting and we had a great time. This was the second time we have been there. Great place to bowl of course, but they have a great diner and a bar area. The pizza we had was very good, and others in my group said they had pretty good food there. Although I did not eat at the diner. There is plenty of room for an outing, and / or a meeting. Definitely a good choice. If you're looking for a place for corporate team building, birthday party or other event. I highly recommend it.“

“We stayed here four nights. We dined at this restaurant several times. The calamari wasn't as expected with the oil and peppers, but rather unfortunately was served with red sauce. The chocolate cake was incredible, velvety smooth with rich chocolate. Overall was a good establishment to have a meal with.Parking: Parking is located on both sides of the building and the restaurant is easily accessible once inside the hotel. It's located right through lobby opposite the reception counter.“
