“The fish sandwich on nann was delicious. Just a kick of spice. Staff was friendly and kind. It also the place to be for Jamestown locals on a weekend morning. So ”
“Wonderful baked goods. The Asiago bagels, croissants, and fruit scones are my personal favorites, but there's lots of choice. Avocado toast is a real treat. Great breakfast and lunch sandwich selection. Excellent coffees. Plenty of indoor and outdoor (in season) seating, except perhaps during morning rush on a sunny summer weekend morning. Very charming atmosphere.”
“Some of the best food in Jamestown! I love to cook, and I cook A LOT. Angel's is an angel on those nights I am exhausted or just burnt out and don't want to make dinner. My husband and I order takeout from them a few times a month, and would definitely order a lot more often if they were open 7 days a week. My favorite hands down is the Caesar Salad with salmon. Salmon always cooked perfectly with a crispy crust, dressing (on the side) is creamy and delicious. House made croutons add the perfect crunch. Portions are so generous, I have plenty for lunch the next day. My husband usually orders either the chicken milanese, chicken marsala or chicken piccata and all of them are yummy as well. Highly recommend for take out, but order early as they get really busy. The secret is out.”
“Absolutely delicious food, warm and inviting atmosphere, beautiful view of the bridge, and super friendly and attentive servers! We came in the winter but I imagine it's even more lovely in warmer weather sitting outside with the views of the water. Cannot emphasize enough how tasty the food was!”
“Fast and friendly service. I often tend to order at my job and they always call back and ask when id like my meal. Good people prices are fair. Pizza I find can be a tad hit or miss. Admittedly my last comment is a nitpick.”
“Nothing better than the Deli. Great coffee and breakfast options - muffins, bagels, egg sandwiches. And plenty of options for sandwiches to meet all needs. Never fails to satisfy. :)”
“First time at Beech. Very enjoyable experience on every front. Got a great seat by the window with a water view for my wife. Martini was excellent (and i'm a fairly harsh judge.) Our server couldn't have been better. She was amused that to her, I sounded like Ray Romano ( I am queens bred after all.). Now all that said - it is offseason. We will be back with high hopes and a larger party this summer...”
“Happened to be in the area and had to stop in for the best fish sandwich around!! I forgot to take a picture but it's worth the stop. Onion rings were fresh and crispy. Service was great and staff was very friendly. I loved looking at all the band posters on the walls.”
“Came for lunch and was lucky enough to get a table for 5. The place is small, but the menu is big with everything you could think of for breakfast or lunch. Service was very friendly and the food came out pretty quickly. Food was tasty and fairly large portions. I'd like to try this place for breakfast.”
“Wonderful service and delicious, fresh food! Everyone in our party ordered different meals and each once was delicious. I would definitely recommend stopping by for breakfast or lunch. So glad we tried Cafe Cru.”
“Second time having Jayd Bun last night and blown away again. The food here is tremendous ans the people making it are even better. Do yourself a favor and eat here you won't regret it!!”
“I've eaten her 5-6 times in the last few months and usually get one of the pizzas. The food is quite good and consistent as is the service. The seating can be crowded with adjacent tables so close you shouldn't share your deepest secrets and the bar stools have no backing and nowhere to put your coat in cold weather but you put up with it.Get the Peroni on draft-excellent with the pizza!Parking: During tourist season and almost any weekend parking is tough.Try spring street or one of the hidden public lost between Spring and America's Cup.”
“Best fine dining in Newport. The meal was fabulous from the appetizers to the main course to dessert. Reasonably priced for fine dining. Staff was attentive and friendly. My new favorite restaurant in Newport Bon Appetit!”
“High quality, elegant, artistic dishes from starters thru dessert. Smaller portions but even considering that the prices are very fair, which was nice for a change. Really nice ambiance, great for a fancy date night / occasion.”
“Went to lunch here for my birthday. There was a hour wait but it was a nice day so we walked around a little bit until they texted us our table was ready. The food was excellent and so is the atmosphere.”
“You can taste the quality. So many great options to choose from. Tried three different pizzas, but the margherita is a classic. Definitely a popular spot, so plan to wait 45 minutes before being seated.”
“My daughter brought me here as I was visiting and it's hard to find authentic and tasty English Food and a proper cup of tea. The couple who owns it is lovely and of course have that great warmth of "Here's your tea love." the Cumberland sausages were excellent and are made here, the scones were wonderful and everything was cooked just right. it's a little hard getting into because of the construction but don't let that stop you! Served by the owners and the cute ambiance of the Queen and the King are fun.”
“Must try their croissant and baguette! Paris in Rhode Island! I used to live in Paris for five years and there was a little bakery right down the street that I went almost every days for croissants. Although I live in Rhode Island now, Le Bec Sucre brings back sweet memories of authentic french bakery! It's a must!”
“One of THE BEST Italian restaurants I've ever been to. It's a very intimate setting and the food is delicious! I had the Manicotti al pomadoro and my boyfriend had some farfalle cream dish, which was fantastic as well. We had tiramisu for dessert, and I'll just say we would've ordered 3 if we could eat it all. This is a must try spot!”
“Cozy and clean atmosphere with delicious breakfast. Staff was welcoming and our food came out promptly. Would love to return.Kid-friendliness: Kids loved sitting by the window.”
“My husband and I had a wonderful experience at Trattoria Romano in Wakefield. Ambiance is warm and comfortable. The host was pleasant and very accommodating. Veal Sorrentino and Veal Parmigian were delicious. Prices remain reasonable. It's one of our favorite spots for dinner!!”
“Awesome place! Please expand to Wakefield and Westerly. We need more healthy quick options around Southern RI. I love that you can create your own bowls too. Delicious!”
“Drift Cafe is the most comfortable and beautiful cafe in town! Their drinks are incredible, with many different dietary options, and the food is healthy and delicious! The staff are the nicest people you can meet, very sweet and patient.I come here as often as I can before work, and it always brightens up my morning!Vegetarian options: Most meals can be substituted for vegetarian ingredients, and even the drinks that are traditionally dairy have many non-dairy substitutions!Dietary restrictions: These people are very aware and very polite about dietary restrictions. Every ingredient is on the menu board, but if you have a specific restriction, all you need to do is mention it, and the staff will do their best to accommodate!”
“As usual, the our dinner at the White Horse Tavern was wonderful. We ate in the bar, a cozy table by the window, that provided lovely atmosphere. The service was fast and polite as usual. The food, again as usual was fantastic. If you enjoy a good meal, wonderful atmosphere, and historic buildings, you will love the White Horse Tavern.”
“One of the best meals, certainly the best in Newport. Amazing service, open kitchen concept is lovely, and some truly inventive and delicious food,, couldn’t recommend moreBone marrow & escargot deserves every award”
“I absolutely love this place!! The people are always friendly and professional. The food is always made with love and is consistently delicious. My go to, the Wicked Willow and a side of fries, turns a bad day right around.”
“Absolutely delicious!! My new favorite restaurant. The service was excellent. The bartender was friendly and made delicious cocktails- the pear martini was especially delicious. I had the duck ramen and my husband had the steak. Everything was outstanding. I highly recommend!!”
“Food is fantastic! Had the street corn with chips, steak fajitas, and the tofu quesadilla and all were fantastic. Love the feel of the place, and has way more seating and floors across this old building. Watch your head upstairs if you're tall! Drinks and service is great too as they got us in earlier than our reservation.”
“A home run. My wife and I ate at the bar and the bartender was outstanding. We had a question regarding the use of garlic in a certain dish and although she was pretty certain she went to the kitchen to confirm. Service was wonderful as was the food and ambiance.”
“Chef/Owner Marc Alexander is a genuine human being. He was friendly and professional. Shannon our server was awesome. The food was fresh and delicious. The Lamb burger, prepared chefs' choice, was incredible. The salmon dishes were extremely fresh and tasty. Save room for dessert.
