“We were staying in Jamestown at an Airbnb & the owners highly recommended that we stop by there. They told us to be prepared to wait, but the wait was well worth it. They were spot on! The wait was around 35 minutes, but didn't feel like more than a 5 minute wait because it's such an amazing, beautiful area & so many people that were either standing in line or sitting at the tables had dogs. I was on vacation & missing my dogs like crazy so that was great! The sheep were out grazing, the leaves were changing & the smell of apples in the air...I would have waited all day and been happy! I've never had apple cider donuts so I didn't know what to expect. OMG AMAZING! The frozen carmel apple cider is to die for! The only negative, I'm back home & across the country craving both!”

“We contracted Angles Kitchen to cater the reception following my father's memorial service. I got so many compliments on the food, and I know that several guests sought out John to complement him personally. The service was both professional and warm. We plan on using them again for two events this Summer. Full caveat; they'er a little laid-back, and their were a few times when I got nervous, but in the end...TOTAL professionals (did I mention that the food was prepared on-site?) I give Angels Kitchen my highest recommendation.”

“We enjoyed having breakfast at this wonderful place while in Newport, RI. The people who own it and those who work there are AMAZING, friendly, and take the time to talk to customers while keeping service at the top of their list. They (from the kitchen to the front door) look like they love working there and have created a loving family environment. Of course, the line was out the door and down the street, but that was okay because everyone enjoyed visiting each other. There is just one warning, the portions are enormous. You know when my husband can't finish it, it's a lot. 🤣”

“We had another wonderful meal at The Food Shack tonight. My dad and I shared the nachos which were superb and my daughter enjoyed her rice bowl. And don’t forget a side of plantains! Also they serve local beer now which is a bonus. You need to eat here!”

“I have been to many asian food restaurants as I traveled in Asia and especially China, Jayd Bun is by far one of the best asian food experiences I have had over the years. The food was absolutely amazing. The flavors combined with spices and the noodles were incredible. So if you enjoy a spicy asian food, Jayd Bun is the place to get it. It’s a take out order but taking advantage of the suggestions of getting this takeout food to a few local places where you can drink and enjoy Jayd Bun food. Our favorite food were the Yo Po, Jayd Noodles and of course the buns.”

“I can’t believe it took us so long to dine here. This is hands down the best food I’ve had in a very long time. Ambiance 10/10, service 10/10 and food 100/10. The street corn ravioli was out of this world. I also tried the peach & prosciutto bruschetta which was savory & sweet and just sooo good. I kept seeing this Bloody Mary type of cocktail going out so I had to order one. This drink was AMAZING. It was called “Caprese my name” which consisted of vodka, basil, tomato and get this…pasta water! Serve in a martini glass with a little mozzarella ball garnish. The most delicious drink I’ve ever had. This place is amazing and I highly recommend it if you’re in town!!!”

“A special touch without a doubt the best Breakfast ever, the food and service was of a wonderful standard, Kellie and Dave made you feel as if you were part of their family great people if you like a full English Breakfast this is the place for you they have it all the Bacon, Sausage not forgetting the baked beans and the fantastic PG Tip Tea thought I was in Heaven. Kellie's Café hard to find but easy to remember”

“Had a hankering Sunday evening for an elite Lobstah Roll while in Newport, RI so I did a lil internet searching and Luke's was consistently at the top of the list. Checked out their menu online and saw they offered a Lobster Roll flight! SOLD! Off I went to find parking and get an order ASAP. Found Luke's on the corner on the Wharf and got to ordering with a quickness. Lobster Roll Sampler with three 2 oz half-rolls: lemon butter, spicy honey butter, and truffle butter w/ chips and a soft drink. Choice of Sea Salt or Sea Salt and Vinegar Kettle Chips, and choice of beverage. I got the Sea Salt and Vinegar (duh) and Blueberry Lemonade in a glass bottle. The lobster in their rolls comes cold, but for a $1 upcharge, you can get it warm, which is my preference. I also got an affordably priced Poppy Seed Slaw. Folks - these Lobster Rolls deserve top billing on "Best Of" lists. My fav might have been the truffle butter lobster roll. It adds something I never knew a lobster roll was missing, but they were all delectable. The roll makes the roll, though. Buttery sourdough with the perfect thin layer of crisp. All flavors were well-balanced and left me wanting more, even though it was plenty food to make a satisfying meal with maybe/maybe not room for dessert. I honestly didn't get any dessert nearby because I didn't want to lose the taste of what I just had! The Poppy Slaw was different, but in a good, not-too-different way. It was a little on the dryer side for my liking, but I liked it just the same. I am sorry to other local Lobster Roll vendors because I don't think I'll try anywhere new on my next visit. It'll be Luke's, no doubt. I might even make a special trip just for the rolls sooner rather than later, but that time I will try the chowder too!”
