“This place is absolutely amazing! One of the best dinners we've ever had in our lives and I don't say that lightly. We've been coming to Narragansett from NYC area for 12 years for summer vacation and we'll definitely be returning here every year now. Stumbled upon it as we didn't have a reservation and looking for a place last minute. Connected to a Holiday Inn (no affiliation), but don't let that deter you, it's super nice inside. Classy enough for a special dinner out and simultaneously casual enough that people were in shorts and t-shirts. And the food just wowed us with every dish that came out, even the free bread with oil & pecorino dip. Pastas were incredible. Scallops and shrimp cooked to perfection. The raw brussels sprout salad was so good we ordered another one. Our server was warm, friendly and helpful. We had two kids under 10 with us and they were treated so well! Can't recommend this place highly enough and can't wait to go back.”

“We ate here while staying at an Airbnb for a weekend. This food was absolutely incredible!! The pairings of the meals are amazing! Also make sure you try the hash. It is to die for. I wanted to keep eating even though I was so full because everything was so delicious. The staff were also friendly and the environment gives off small business coziness that is unlike that of big chain restaurants.”

“I always come for the wings and drinks but I’m sure the other food options are great as well. Different fun atmosphere, the staff do a fantastic job. I need to point out Mark, he was extremely attentive and above and beyond as far as servers go. Looking forward to coming back!

P.S. the habanero wings were indeed hot (some places claim they have habanero or even hotter wings but these ones have me the hiccups and sweats), I love spicy food and if you can handle it then go for it ??”

“We ordered 5 different tacos and burritos as a sampler plate this weekend for guests; not only was each delicious, but the seasoning and other fresh ingredients in each taco and burrito complemented the main ingredient (fish, shrimp, chicken, pork or beef). NOT a place where every taco and burrito gets tossed together with the same ingredients and seasonings. Bonus: the take out containers are 100% recyclable . Kudos to the owners of this gem of a restaurant. I hope you thrive and expand!”

“Oldest running tavern in the US with fine dining options. We absolutely loved the history and ambiance of the place. The restaurant is multi story which I’m assuming has to do with being in the NE, but we had a private room to ourselves. We got the duck scotch egg, grand sampler, and beef Wellington. All were so good. We’ve even tried the beef Wellington at Gordon Ramsays restaurants and I’ll say this was even better!! The waitress was so kind and attentive even bringing out an extra plate to our nephew who came with us.”

“Today we made a pilgrimage to Basil Yu’s restaurant, Yagi Noodles. My son happened to see that Basil had become a successful restaurateur while he was watching one of Guy Fieri’s shows. We had become acquainted with Basil when we were all involved with a Boy Scout Troop in Manchester NH. We were disappointed to discover that Basil wasn’t at the restaurant, however we got over it when we found out it was due to a commitment to a fundraiser for the James Beard Foundation. Basil, You weren’t there, but your food is delicious. You get the Merit Badge! You weren’t there, but your staff is spectacular! You get the Merit Badge! We wish you continued success! Five stars for the staff who is always so gracious and lovely, minus the one time I was taken aback by the disrespect and unprofessionalism of one of the members.
