“Several times that we have been to the South County area, we have gotten food from this Subway. It's at the intersection of US-1 and RI-38, so a busy area, in the Crossing at the Tower shopping center. I used the APP to order an Oven roasted chicken sandwich and it was so easy to build it the want I wanted it.....you can add any of the toppings you want and let them know if you want it lite, regular or heavy. Great app. The order was ready when promised, easy !”

“Came for lunch and was lucky enough to get a table for 5. The place is small, but the menu is big with everything you could think of for breakfast or lunch. Service was very friendly and the food came out pretty quickly. Food was tasty and fairly large portions. I'd like to try this place for breakfast.”

The seating can be crowded with adjacent tables so close you shouldn't share your deepest secrets and the bar stools have no backing and nowhere to put your coat in cold weather but you put up with it.Get the Peroni on draft-excellent with the pizza!Parking: During tourist season and almost any weekend parking is tough.Try spring street or one of the hidden public lost between Spring and America's Cup.”

“My daughter brought me here as I was visiting and it's hard to find authentic and tasty English Food and a proper cup of tea. The couple who owns it is lovely and of course have that great warmth of "Here's your tea love." the Cumberland sausages were excellent and are made here, the scones were wonderful and everything was cooked just right. it's a little hard getting into because of the construction but don't let that stop you! Served by the owners and the cute ambiance of the Queen and the King are fun.”

“Must try their croissant and baguette! Paris in Rhode Island! I used to live in Paris for five years and there was a little bakery right down the street that I went almost every days for croissants. Although I live in Rhode Island now, Le Bec Sucre brings back sweet memories of authentic french bakery! It's a must!”

“Drift Cafe is the most comfortable and beautiful cafe in town! Their drinks are incredible, with many different dietary options, and the food is healthy and delicious! The staff are the nicest people you can meet, very sweet and patient.I come here as often as I can before work, and it always brightens up my morning!Vegetarian options: Most meals can be substituted for vegetarian ingredients, and even the drinks that are traditionally dairy have many non-dairy substitutions!Dietary restrictions: These people are very aware and very polite about dietary restrictions. “Food and wait staff were excellent. Issue is the whole reservation process. Had reservation, was sat an hour after reservation time. Staff never even acknowledged. Would have be nice for staff to tell us when we checked in. P.S. it was a cold April evening, so come summer expect to be much worse.Update….a few days after our dinner my wife was contacted by the restaurant. Sincere apologies were offered on the delays. She was given a gift certificate.”

“We had an excellent dinner experience here. The food was great. The main dishes are a bit pricey but the tasting menu was exceptional and an excellent value. We got to try everything we wanted with this option. We didn't leave completely stuffed but comfortably full. The service was great and the atmosphere was fun. They had no issues accommodating our dietary restrictions with the tasting menu which was refreshing. This is definitely one of the best restaurants in Newport and I would come back again every time I visit. If you are in Newport, make sure you get reservations here.
