“This was my first time at the salty general! The owner, Philip, was so nice and made me this beautiful sprout sandwich with Turkey . I switched out the cheddar cheese with the provolone, and OMG it was an absolutely delicious . Also, I got the brownie, which is so yummy and is the perfect balance between sweet and salty. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. I'm definitely coming back soon!”

“I've only been to Island Deli twice; however, both visits my sandwiches were filling and delicious. My go-to sandwich is a cuban and Island Deli makes a tasty one. They also sell sides and locally made sodas from Empire. Plenty of seating inside and friendly service.”

“Tsunama is the place to go for great sushi and more. We’ve tried almost every nigiri, and could not love it more. The Hibachi/Teriyaki dinners are fit for a king…or queen. The atmosphere is relaxing and pleasing. The service is outstanding. They also have a full bar. If you have not been to Tsunama, you must visit, even if sushi is not your preference. “Amazing little diner! The service was great and food hit the greasy diner brunch spot. Didn't have to wait at all on Sunday at 11:30, we were literally shocked when our food came out in like 5 mins!! Highly recommend!”

“I got a gift card for Christmas and used it here I love seafood I got clam chowder it was ok I got the oyster sampler was fresh and delicious I ordered a oyster knife but they gave me and extra one they I got the cocktail sauce and the oyster sauce dip the squid was great I cut into rings and made calamari and the steamers were great too scallops were huge”

“Good, not great, food, with reasonable prices and portions. Busy most nights, and small, fun bar. Service at the bar was a bit lackluster, perhaps they were overwhelmed by the crowds. Solid choice for good food. Would repeat.”

“Dinner with the girls tonight at the Mariner Grille in Narragansett! Of course we had drinks and appetizers, then came dinner. There was no room for anything else!! Our server was great and available to us. The place is decent sized, and there was a separate space with a bar area. We got Thai calamari and coconut shrimp. Both were very good; the calamari was super tender and not chewy. The coconut shrimp was good, too, but I felt it was a bit over fried. The drinks were just as tasty. One friend had the mussels appetizer for her meal- it was huge! Another friend had sea scallops and chose lemon basil risotto and french fries as her sides. I had a lobster roll with a ton of hand cut fries. It was a cold lobster roll, and it was delicious! The roll was perfectly toasted. It was very busy, and I would say you definitely need reservations on the weekends. There are a couple other restaurants in the plaza , so parking could be tricky even though it's a pretty big lot. There were drinks specials and dinner specials, along with the regular menu. Definitely worth a try!!”

“Food and service were excellent! Our waitress very hospitable and friendly. The restaurant has high ceilings with a large hearth and seafaring atmosphere. I enjoyed my very tasty Avocado BLT which was a 3 egg omelette with spinach, tomato and bacon topped with avocado. Mi-meal I ordered a T's Super Green drink composed of organic apple juice, pomegranate juice, sweet greens, avocado, spinach and kale. It was delicious! Mildly sweet. Didn't taste vegan but of course it was. Well recommended. The menu was very eclectic.”

“Went Saturday night for dinner and drinks (3/2/24). We sat at the bar in the separate bar area. The bar area is modern, cozy, very clean and has good seating space at the bar and with tables around the bar. The place was very busy. Our bartender was Christian. He was very pleasant, welcoming, very efficient with a packed room and very professional. The food was awesome. We have the Italians Pizza and tortellini carbonara which were both awesome! We also had hot & dirty martinis and expresso martinis and Christian rocked them both, one of the best for both martinis have ever had. Would definitely go back when in the area!!!!”

“Such great people and amazing shakes. I happened to drop both of my shakes all over my car and they came out brought me rags and offered to help. They remade my shakes and were just overall so sweet an amazing. The shake is thick and creamy absolutely delicious!! Great prices also.”

“We had a bit of a slow, inattentive waitress who took away our drinks and never offered or asked if we wanted seconds (mind you our next-door-table had arrived after us and gotten drinks and apps before we had water and drinks), but that did not take away from the amazing food, sunset, atmosphere and prices!”

“Was going back and forth on this one between a 3 star and 4 star and decided to round up. All in all, a solid bagel spot with decent coffee. The bagels are great by RI standards but are no where close to NYC style ones you get the closer you are to NY. But they scratch the itch. The coffee is ok, I love the fact that they brew a lot of their flavors for both hot and iced, but then feel like the coffee can be weak sometimes? Service is fantastic though, whether you stop in at the counter or hit up the drive through. Would I say go out of your way to stop here? Absolutely not. But if you're vacationing nearby in the summer months or your a student at URI and need a decent ice coffee, bagels or a bacon, egg and cheese, definitely a solid option!”

Designed not only as a place to come in and get a quick protein shake, but also a way to escape the hectic schedule of my everyday life, Be Fit Nutrition has been a key part of what brings me back to the Narragansett Pier on a regular basis even after I moved half an hour away. For as long as I live in RI, I plan to keep this hidden gem a part of my regular routine to destress myself from life. (Side note: there is an ever-changing list of seasonal shake specials for those that find the same flavors boring!)”

“Spain came highly recommended by close family and we had to try it out for our little getaway to Narragansett. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, the tables were spaced out just enough so you didn’t feel on top of other patrons, the music, drink and food was all delightful. The clams and shrimp & saffron rice paella were decadent and perfect for sharing between 2 individuals. We will absolutely be back!”

“Good gelato. Open till 11pm. Only place around. Parking is confusing but spaces are available. Six chairs to sit outside face parking lot. $7 two scoops of gelato. Waffle bowl $1.25. $8.25 for two scoops and waffle bowl. Scoops were good size. Fast service. Young friendly staff. Pistachio light flavor. Cannoli flavor initially good light also. Nutella flavor a must. Espresso more maple than espresso. Should be stronger.”

“INCREDIBLE customer service that goes above and beyond! As vegans, my mother and I doubted we would find anything we could eat at a place that advertised "burgers and seafood". However, we needed a bottle of water, so we stopped by- low and behold, they had a veggie burger on their menu! The staff, Robert and Gayle, were EXTREMELY knowledgeable and conscientious about our dietary restrictions. They offered to let us see the bag for the buns they use so we could double check the ingredients, and Robert even offered (without us having to bring it up) to cook our veggie burgers on a side of the grill that hadn't been used yet to avoid cross contamination with any meat. They even used a freshly cleaned spatula! My mother and I were both very very impressed with the service and care we received. As for the food itself, it was tasty and finished quick. A little pricey, but that's par for the course for beach food. Overall I highly recommend getting your lunch here, it's worth it!”

“Great ambiance! The Vue is incredible and worth the drive! I have been coming for the view, stuffies, beer and Keno for about 8 years. Yesterday I ordered 2 stuffies right away, well they now are FRIED. I feel like I'm still digesting lol. Not good for me, and $2 increase. I'll still come for the other amenities but will save my appetite for another restaurant.”

The family was telling the owner how they all make 6-figures and trying to belittle him. I was impressed with how they handle things. I will be back!”

“Stopped at Twin Willows on our back to Connecticut. The pizza was hot and tasted fresh. There’s also a big variety of pasta available along with proteins. My wife and friend loved their pasta choices. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly and was able to handle eight guest at two tables. The interior is spacious and clean. Five Stars.”

“We are at the point in our travels that we are beginning to return to places again. Love when we can return to a place years later and still find it in business (especially after 2020). Such was the case with Crazy Burger. Hubby had the same thing he had over four years ago - the MooMoo burger and liked it just as much. Fries were just as good but I had to fight for just two this time. The tomatoes on the side were red and juicy. He also had the warm vanilla chai which was nice on a chilly day. I decided to try the quinoa burger and added avocado. Our server made sure I knew it was served without a bun on a bed of greens which was fine with me as I often don't eat the bun. The burger was very moist. It comes with cashew pesto which had a bit of an unexpected bite to it. Choice of bean salad or cabbage slaw or for a small upcharge, other options; I had the slaw which was good. I also had the fresh pear juice and it was refreshing. Finished with the raspberry key lime pie, the perfect ending to the meal. They still use plastic straws and cups for condiments but cloth napkins! As you enter it appears it is a cash only establishment but they do accept cards and offer a cash discount.”
